The holidays are a time of love, joy, and… meeting a new alien species?
Prince of the Ujal, Tave fa V’yl-Zeret, will do anything to make his mate happy. Even if that means celebrating a holiday he does not understand. (Tave does not care what human lore states, a single human could not circle the globe and deliver toys to every child.)
This year’s biggest concern isn’t whether he purchased enough toys for his youngling, but the alien battleship that enters Earth’s orbit.

Final de serie agridulce

Ujal, Tave fa V'yl Zeret y su pareja Rina planean festejar la navidad. Parece un día como cualquier otro con su pequeña hija Theresa interrumpiendo su momento a solas por la mañana cuando un repentino mensaje rompe su paz.
Una nave de guerra alienígena que entró en la órbita de la tierra.
Rina y Tave tendrán que lidiar con los nuevos visitantes y el peligro que se avecina.
Después de los dos últimos libros que no me gustaron tanto como los primeros, no quería volver a esta serie pero como era breve y el último libro además de que tenía como protagonistas a Rina y El Príncipe Ujal, tenía que leerlo.
No hay mucho para contar, fue como un momento familiar, la pareja real enamorada y su adorable hija en víspera de navidad. De pronto, una nave de otro planeta entra en la tierra y deben decidir si pueden confiar en ellos.
Creí que al ser navidad iban a aparecer todas las parejas y sus hijos pero no.
Esto me decepcionó un poco porque siempre busco actualizaciones de parejas de los libros anteriores.
Tave tiene que lidiar con unos nuevos aliens que llegan de imprevisto. Hay un momento de tensión, un secuestro pero es todo muy rápido que ni te das cuenta.
Ojalá hubiera más historia, me gustó la idea pero todo fue apresurado.
Me sorprendió la aparición de Melissa Walker, la cuñada de Vanessa del libro anterior. Ella aparece como niñera de Theresa la hija de Rina y Tave.
Hay una introducción de una nueva raza de aliens, los dragones Preor, que llega a la tierra en busca de mujeres.
Esta fue una serie que comenzó gustándome mucho pero al final la sentí agridulce.
Fue bueno darle cierre.
Definitivamente leería la serie de la raza de dragones.

Dashing Through the Stars is a short story in The Ujal series.
This short story showcase the fist couple Prince Tave, Principessa Rina, and their daughter Teresa during Christmas time. It also gives us a brief introduction to Melissa Walker, the nanny to Teresa, and a short introduction to a new alien race, the Preor dragons, and why they have come to earth.
The whole Ujal series has been ok and fun to read. I read the Dragons of Preor series first; before I deiced to pick up The Ujal, since the Ujal came first in the world. I actually enjoyed the Dragons of Preor series more than The Ujal.
Dashing Through the Stars was just an ok read. Their wasn’t much to it.

Good bridge to the next series
I thought this story was a great into to the next series about the Dragon warriors of Precor. It revolves around Prince Tave, Principessa Rina, and their daughter Teresa during the Christmas holiday. They introduced Melissa Walker as the nanny to Teresa, whom I believe will the the MC in the first series.

May I please roll my eyes and say: "Oh, come on!"
Not my story for sure. I never liked Rina because I found her: childish, loud and spoiled. So she continued being the same.
The plot had new aliens added to the mix looking for our human females....because we have so many to spare and because they killed theirs in a war.
End of eye rolling. I can see a spin off to the series but not much done to the plot.
I know our politicians can be stupid but after living for "X" years (no background story here) with the Uljals one would have thought they knew better. So that dramatic, shoot out and kidnapping, was an overkill to an already boring story.
Am I going to look for more books from Erin Tate, not likely but hey maybe my fellow reviewers can change my mind in the future.

The Beginning Of An Interesting Friendship
Its the holiday season and Tave will do anything to please his mate and his youngling. But the event doesn't go as planned. An alien ship has entered the planet's orbit. Are they friend or foe? It's just the preors. This story has the ujals and the preors meeting for the first time. They join forces to rescue Taves' daughter from terrorist.
This story shows the ujals and the preors have a great deal in common. The love and the protecting of their females and their young. It also leads to the next series about the dragons of preors.

Nice and quick
This is a good transition to the Peor series. I actually read the Peor series first but it worked fine, however I recommend reading the Urjal series first. There was more about the human side of things in this first series that gives a better idea of how everything is connected.

More hunky aliens.
Not only do we now have aliens in the sea we now have aliens who want to rule the air. I’m all for some more hotties and enjoyed this opening for a spin off series.

Christmas 🎄 Indeed!
I haven't read a book in years. I took time for me today and read. Ms. Kyle doesn't disappoint. Her Ujal males are hot, alpha, and swoon-worthy. If you need a little alien Christmas cheer look no further. :) Great Book.

Dashing through the stars wants to be a Christmas story and set up the Dragons of Preor. It isn't either. This novelette was more sex scenes than complete story.
All is mentioned in a passing (written like a report) except for the sex, which is "shown". Also, at 54 pages this is way to short. This is another example for a rough draft.
Normally, this author has a good way to tell her stories, but this time it fell flat. Too much telling and not enough pages. I'm diasappointed.

Ending the Ujal series and introducing the Preor series!

Yasssss. The dragons have landed. I like those guys. They're bloodthirsty and even more feral than the Ujal, but they know how to GET THINGS DONE when the situations calls for it. And by that, I mean they execute their enemies without any regrets.
But this isn't all about the dragons. It's also about family and the lengths a person is willing to go to keep those they love safe. Or to bring them home if they're abducted. Word to the wise: Don't get between a mama and her baby or she'll burn down the world. Or make deals with aliens.
Good thing the aliens in question were honorable or things might have turned out very differently.
A nice introduction to the Dragons of Preor and a fun foray back into Tave and Rina's world.

Highly enjoyable novella
This part was such a sweet piece of the story, and I was pleasantly surprised by the advent of hate and violence to balance it out. This series is addictive and lovely and usually thick with violent action as well as bow chic a wow wow action. There is always something to make you laugh, the characters are strong and the dialogue is tight. This is a fast read that will have you looking for the next one in the series before you even finish. You know, like lining up your next hit before the fire goes out.

Short, But Very Good!
This story is the in between story that makes the Ujal books connect to the Preor books. It is Christmas time; things are afoot & not all of them are good. During this book the Preor's come to make a deal with Earth & Ujal to also find mates for their species.; Tave gets hurt, Theresa (Tave & Rina's child) was kidnapped & the Preor help to find Theresa very fast with their technology.
Because this was a very fast-paced, exciting story with a good vs bad vibe I rated it as very good. Now I'm off to read the rest of the Preor series.

another alien species comes to earth. this one seeking mates, their species sorely lacking in females. the ujal and earthlings meet with them only to have the EarthLink try to kill the new ambassadors and kidnap the child of the ujal Prince. the yoingling is found, evil doers punished, a treaty reached.

This was great! It was a short story that links the Ujal books with the Preor books. I would read the Ujal first so you understand what is going on. I hope the author will continue with this series!!!!

And so the bridge
After reading the first Preor book I had to go back and read all the Ujal books and I was not disappointed. This last was a great bridge and introduction to the next series and building a bigger world.

Tave fa V'yl-Zeret is the Prince of the Ujal and will do anything to make his mate happy even if that is creating a human holiday that he doesn't understand (How could a single person really circle the globe and deliver toys to every child?). However, this year the concern is not whether he has bought enough toys for his own child but the alien spaceship that has just entered the Earth's orbit. There is an intense debate as to if they are friend or foe. Either way on Earth there is a humbug somewhere who is willing to go to any length to stop any peace talks between the three races - including kidnapping Ujal royalty and assassination. Can they sort all these problems out, not have war break out and have the Christmas that the young are all looking forward to?
This was a nice short story that encompassed the Christmas spirit as races came together in order to beat those who would destroy peace and cooperation between them all. I loved the way that we were introduced to the Preor and this then makes sense and introduces the start of a whole new series based on the Preor race and how they find their own mates among the population of Earth. Well written, easy to read and understand. Contains just a little explicit sexual content.

Nice return to visit the Ujal and wrap up the series
I recommend this series if you love alien PNRs that feature different couples, while still interacting within a series, but with some angst, action, no cheating, and a HFN / HEA.
This is the 5th book in the series and I highly recommend it be read in series order for maximum reader satisfaction and to prevent spoilers as there are reoccurring characters and an overall storyline arc.
I recommend that you not read below this point if you have not read the previous stories, as there will be spoilers.
I rated this 5 stars despite have some grammatical issues because of the characters, the intro of the next series (which should also include periodic drop ins from the Ujal ... I hope) storyline and universe.

This is a short read where we get a nice little recap of some of our favorite characters. It also severs as a stepping stone for the new Dragons of Preor series.
Fans of the series will appreciate the glimpse into their lives again. If you haven't read the series I wouldn't recommend starting with this book.
