Informative and Practical Yoga Basics

Great book for gaining familiarity with yoga terminology, practices, and poses for beginners. The detailed step-by-step illustrations of yoga poses explaining the benefits of basic poses is extremely useful.

Good Introduction

The book was a nice introduction to yoga with simple and clear explanation. It provides a good understanding of various common yoga poses.

This book was very interesting. I now understand how good yoga can be.

This gave me the encouragement I needed to start using yoga to help with my anxiety. Didn't realize I was already doing some of the exercises mentioned

This is exactly what I was looking for, an easy to follow introduction to yoga. It was very easy to read and understand.

The book shows basic poses and includes information on yoga that I found somewhat useful. But the book didn't have as much information as I would've liked. Mostly lists and diagrams to show the poses--which seemed far too advanced for any time of yoga beginner. I would've liked more diagrams to show transitioning of the poses. Also, the last third of the book was previews of other books and advertisements. I only got this book because it was free.

Very good for the novice.

Great book for the novice wanting to learn a daily routine that is easy on the body yet can be a hard work out depending on how you push yourself.

Easy Read. Very Informative!

I gave this book four stars because of the amount of helpful content it contains on numerous topics. It was extremely easy to read. The value of this book is much greater than its cost.

This book is a great resource for yoga beginners, however, there are several grammatical errors that sometimes confuse me. I find myself having to reread some sentences to understand the meaning.
