Hmm...

My biggest problem with this book was the length. It did not need to be this long at all. I liked the past/present chapter flipping. Unfortunately, it reminded me a lot of "Ugly Love" by CoHo. It had the same "parents in a relationship and baby dying" plot line. Everything else was different and this one had the characters ending up together.

It just came to the point where I was super bored because they could have been together for so long but because of Linc's assholeness and Raven's ability to run away, I just couldn't deal.

There is only so much a reader can take and this was too much. I feel like this book would have been much better as a novella and removed some of the repeated fucking and running away thing.

*****WARNING*****
Make sure you have tissues handy. Some of you may want the wine and chocolate as well!

Danielle has done it again with this amazing ugly cry book! This book is five years after book 2 but does flashbacks to right after their parents wedding. This book is like being on an emotional rollercoaster with everything that Raven and Linc have gone through in order to get their HEA! Danielle captured the emotions going through the characters perfectly. It was as if I was right there along with them through this journey. I'm really going to miss these characters, hopefully they will be a glimpse of them in future books.

I received a complimenty copy of this book through Crazy Cajun Book Addicts for an honest review.

I have to say I have read a few of Danielle Jamie's book but this is definitely my favourite the whole series has kept me gripped throughout, this conclusion was fabulous it's such an emotional read and believe me when I say tissues will be required throughout.

After reading Untouchable I was expecting everything in Linc and Raven's life to be perfect but it was far from it, a tragic event has literally ripped their lives apart, but the love they have for each other shines through but is it enough?
Will they eventually get their HEA?

Danielle Jamie has done it again with another absolutely amazing story!!!

I am starting to have a love/hate relationship with Danielle. Rapture is the last book in the Stepbrother series and of course it's one big emotional rollercoaster. This is my favorite of the series and trust me when I say you will not be putting this one down until the end.

Raven is the "Spitfire" stepsister of the super sexy playboy Linc. When things go to far between them they need to find away to tell everyone they are head over heels in love with each other. With Linc moving clear across the world to prepare for his gulf career he leaves Raven behind with a huge secret she needs to tell. When Raven catches Linc in bed with another women it changes their future. Although things aren't always appear to be what you think sometimes you just can't move forward. When tragedy strikes and Linc turns his back on Raven both their worlds fall apart . Years later when they literally run into each other that spark they share is still there. Will Raven be able to forgive Linc for leaving her when she needed him the most?

Grab the Kleenex and enjoy this emotional rollercoaster Raven and Linc are going to put you through!

I have loved Linc and Raven since the first book, and was ecstatic to finally get the end of their story!

Rapture is told in both the past and the present, and is a heartbreaking story that will have you screaming, crying, and falling in love with these two all over again/

Just when you thought these two were stronger than ever, things change, and take a bad turn for them. I wanted these two to get their HEA more than anything, but at times in this book I really wasn't sure that would ever happen. Linc and Raven have so much to work through and so much they need to go through to finally get to a place where they can be happy.

Seeing the things Raven has dealt with in the past four years is heartbreaking, I cried for her, and I wanted nothing but good things to happen for her. I hated Linc right there with her, but getting his POV helped in seeing he was in just as much pain. He dealt with things a lot different than Raven did, but it didn't mean he wasn't hurting right along with her.

So much happens in this book that it would be wrong to talk about it in this review, but I will say this is a beautifully written story full of angsty, ugly cries, and swooning. I really enjoyed how Linc and Raven's story ended, even if I had to cry a bit to get to get to the end!

This is the conclusion to Raven and Linc's story and from the dedication I knew this book was going to be tough read and boy was I right.

This book is set five years on and there are flashbacks to where the story left off at the end of the last books following Linc and Raven's parents wedding.

Tissues....lots of tissues....Danielle has really put her characters through the ringer, the writing was amazing and the sensitivity and grace in which she delivered these scenes were outstanding and she really captured the essence of both characters when dealing with their pain.

The book still has its moments of hot sexy action and I think this gelled well and gave the reader the true sense of chemistry that Linc and Raven have and it leaped from the pages.

This was a fabulous end to their story and one that will sit with me as a reader and one that I didn't think that I'd enjoy due to the many books out now in this genre but I did and this stands out a mile against the other books available in the stepbrother lover genre.

Emotional Roller Coaster

So this book right here totally wrecked me. Big time ugly cry! I was so emotionally drained that I had to take breaks from reading to refrain from throwing my tablet at the wall. This story hit so close to home and reopened some old wounds, it felt like my heart was breaking all over again. It's actually taken me awhile to write my review because I don't even know how to convey all of the emotions I'm feeling right now. How do you express how it feels when your whole world is turned upside down? I cannot put into words just how amazing this book truly is, it is beautifully written and the story line is emotional, even more so if you can relate. With all of the ups and downs you'll develop a love hate relationship with Linc and Raven. This is definitely one of my fave reads of 2015.

Danielle Jamie was the Author that broke my step brother love story... Rapture is about the love between Linc and Raven. Raven is trying to move on and be happy but life gets throwing Linc back into her sight which makes for a stormy history. At times I can say that I wish I could have reached through the book to slap some good sense into him but I doubt that would have helped as he is stubborn.

Linc and Raven share a tragedy that binds them together but at same time destroys them. Raven is the bearer of the most part of the guilt that comes from this tragedy. Her best friend will always stand by her side as they have been through the ringer together.

In time Linc and Raven will be able to climb to the top and achieve great happiness. The emotional journey while it ripped by heart out it was so worth it for this amazing book.

I'm in absolute shock over Rapture! When I started the journey with Linc and Raven I never saw it going this way. But as shocked and heartbroken as I was Danielle has pieced me back together again. The feels and emotion in this book is high so be prepared for a wine and chocolate kind of night...oh and tissue.....need tissue. Even though my heart broke with the events that took place in Rapture it is now healed with the knowledge that the happily ever after is in sight! I am so proud to say that I have taken this journey into such a sordid and complicated relationship and I have come out on the other side a little smarter, wiser, and more sympathetic towards those who go through certain heartbreak.

Raven and Linc's story is definitely one filled with heartache and passion. Years after things went bad with them, they are thrown back together when they least expected it. When they learn of the lies and manipulation that tore them apart and shattered their hearts, they have to make the decision to either try again or let go of each other. I have to admit that I wanted to give their parents a kick or two for all they went through. And Raven just broke my heart with her loss. There were quite a few times I wanted to give Linc a shake. They are sweet and sexy together and I so wanted them to find their way back to each other. I really enjoyed their story.

I give Rapture 4 hearts!

Danielle always does such a great job of pulling you into her books.
We are starting after a "break up" though it's not really a break up...... Linc and Raven have gone their separate ways and are trying hard to forget the other. We all know life doesn't work that way so they are both about to be in for a huge surprise. I will say that wasn't what I saw coming till it happened.

Warning... tissues needed!!

Linc and Raven are back and hotter than ever, at least when they are fighting or hating each other! Their explosive story continues with more plots twists and turns. One moment you'll be hating person "A" and later you'll be shocked at who the real bad guy turns out to be. Of course there are lots of scorching hot scenes, hilariously funny moments, sassy spitfire situations, and as warned a few very sad moments. Note: if you don't want to be surprised, read the pre-amble to prepare yourself. And now a bit about the story...

Raven can't believe Linc left after the wedding to go to Scotland! She knows it is his dream, but she wasn't prepared for him to be that far away. Thinking maybe it was for the best, she decided to concentrate on school. At least until she couldn't keep anything down and suspected the reason. After a trip to the doc and then an international flight she was in Linc's arms again. She didn't think it would be easy, but was seeing their future working out. That is until a phone call separates them again, and then even later a video call halts all progress and starts a huge downhill slide. If you haven't met Raven and Linc yet, start with the beginning and enjoy the trilogy, I did!!

Favorite passages:
- “It’s nice to meet you, too,” I lie and force the same fake smile she’s flashing at me. I think I just puked in my mouth.
- “Slipping out of his bed, I tiptoe across the carpeted floor toward his bedroom door.”
- “I just hope I don’t become a shark’s lunch.”

This is the conclusion to Linc and ravens story. Its told in dual pov whch I love as I feel you get so much more from both sides.
This book is set four years on from book two,it does however have flashbacks so it alternates between the past and present at times letting you in on what has happened since the ending of book 2.Four years ago Linc broke her heart and ever since shes been trying to piece her heart and life back one step at a time.Linc had dreams of being in the PGA he knew he had to sacrifice his dreams with Raven to realise his career goals but at what cost?Suddenly meeting again Raven is over whelmed with all the feelings she thought long since buried when she sets eyes on Linc,he too is stunned to see her after all this time the spark is still there but will she ever be able to forgive him for breaking her heart and abandoning her when she needed him.Can they fight their way back to each other and the love that just wont be denied?
This was a wonderfully emotional and moving final book in their story.I cried,I shouted cried some more Danielle did a wonderful job in bringing Linc and Ravens story full circle.

This series was a huge surprise for me. I thought book 1 was terrible. It read like the silly, soft porn type of story about step siblings. In general, I've noticed a lot of romance authors just don't know how to first build the relationship in the beginning and that's what happened here. Raven, to me, was loud, immature and crass. She was also a little loose. I mean she was going to sleep with someone else the same night she went berserk on Linc for being with another girl. She just was sore and that's why it didn't happen. She also made a bet and actively tried to seduce him, very childish, especially when so much was at stake. A good girl, like others were betraying her to be, she was not. However, I'm glad I stuck with the series because I was shocked how the story unfolded in the next 2 books and how it became such a deep and touching story. Raven matured a lot but there were still glimpses of her fiery personality, thankfully toned down. It was frustrating at times because Raven and Linc's issues could have been solved quicker than they were. I would have liked to have seen more of the fallout between the parents as well as with their kids. I really enjoyed the epilogue.

I am completely blown away by this book!! This series started with a fun, hot steamy Stepbrother story (Forbidden), book 2 same sexy, can't keep their hands off each other couple but their hearts start getting involved (Untouchable) and now the final installment. Raven and Linc are still the hot, fun Spitfire and Sex God I have come to love but...
Rapture broke my heart!! I cried and cried it was an emotional story that was so sad because it is real, it happens. Watching it play out was hard. I had to stop reading, put my Kindle down and collect myself more than once. I was a MESS!!
In the end the sun came out and Danielle Jamie made me smile again! My heart was healed, I was happy and so glad I took the journey with Linc and Raven. I will miss them but their love story will stay with me for along time.
I love all of Danielle's books but this definitely takes the #1 spot. It has it all funny scenes, sexy times, throw your kindle moments and tears, lots of tears. A definite must read!!!

OK I've been waiting for this book and now I don't want it cause that will be the end to Linc and Raven and I don't want the end of Linc and Raven.

☆☆☆☆WARNING,WARNING ☆☆☆☆
you will need tissues, a whole box.

ok this whole series has been amazing and I feel a little bit more in love with Linc in each book, but in Rapture he completely stole my heart, we get the true Linc in this book and swoon worthy it is. Linc and Raven have a love for each other that is perfect and toxic at the same time , we see them try to survive together and apart and we see them deal with the ugliness this world offers and we see the real Lexi and we all need a BFF like Lexi. I have so many great things to say about this book but I don't want to ruin it but I absolutely loved this book, this whole series and although I have mixed emotions, I'm glad to get the story. definitely a must read. Danielle Jamie has done it again, I'm left in awww.

A perfect end to the Era of Linc and Raven

Danielle Jamie, just WOW!!! I have never laughed and cried so much in one single book. This is a perfect end to this series, it takes every question we (the readers) needed answered and keeps our attention throughout the trials, struggles and victories of the characters. Everyone needs a BFF like Tessa!!

Rapture tore my heart out and put in back all at the same time. As a mother of a preemie, I felt in my soul exactly parts of what Raven and Linc went through. As a woman, I cried sad and happy tears for Raven throughout this entire book. Linc, he made you fall in love with him even more during rapture. Danielle Jamie, did a FABULOUS job switching from present to future and not loosing your attention along the way.

This story makes you believe in your own HEA,not the storybook HEA. This has real struggles, real sacrifices and real solutions. This is a definite keep and a must reread!!! Absolutely LOVED it!!

If you have not 1-clicked yet, what are you waiting for??

~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!! Grab your box of tissues! Bust just to start this review off... **there are some trigger moments in this book, no not abuse, but suicide and death** OK now that, that is out of the way. This book was A-MAZ-ING! I really can't go into detail, but just know that I loved every single minute of this book. It took guts to write about sensitive subjects, and Danielle has done it beautifully! She made this book great. She is an amazing writer with an eye for Art, and that Art are her books.

This is definitely a more than one tissue book. Raw emotion and passion are in this book. Ugly truths, heartaches, and love are also in this book. But, underneath the crying, is a great love story. Danielle made sure that you used a few tissues before writing the end. Get this book. Get some wine. Get some tissues and a fire going, then settle in and read this book!!

I love Danielle Jamie so much, that is until I get a new book from her in my hand, that is when the hate comes out.

This is an amazing conclusion to a great series. With that said this last part of the story has some parts that will rip your heart out. Yes, I wanted to strangle some of the characters of this series, and do even worst things to some others. I wanted to brain control one or two. Nope, I wouldn't change any part of it at all.

The emotional roller coaster this characters went through is immense from manipulation, to loss, a little bit of everything happened to Linc and Raven in their journey as a couple. They have so much growth, learn so much from the pain. And had such sexy and fun times catching up in between all the suffering. The love this two shares is for the books, pun intended.

Excellent writing as always by Danielle Jamie. Love this story so much...warning...TISSUES people, don't forget that!!!

The Stepbrother series is my first introduction to author Danielle Jamie and what an introduction it was! From the beginning in Forbidden the story of Linc and Raven has its up's and down's as there love for each other grew. As their story continued into Untouchable their love story had a lot of twists and turns, which remind you that nothing in life worth having comes easy! I assumed that with all the couple had gone through that the final book in Linc and Raven's story would be perfect and finally find it's way out of all the chaos. However, that wasn't what was in-store for them as tragic events proceeded to rip them apart. This was definitely my favorite book of the whole series, because it kept me gripped throughout and ended in a fabulous manner. I won't lie this is a VERY emotional read and believe me when I say tissues will be required throughout.

Where do I start? How to I adequately sing the praises of this wonderful book? Rapture is the outstanding 3rd book in this series and oh boy does it take your emotions on a journey. I knew from reading the very first page that I would need my tissues, I didn't expect to need a full box for my ugly cry!! Danielle Jamie has picked up straight where book 2 left off. We share in the love, hate, tragedies, happiness and despair of Raven and Linc. The book tells us of their journey now but also takes us back to their journey a few years prior. Often when authors do this it can be confusing, but not in this case. Danielle has nailed it!! I can't shout loudly enough about this book and in fact this series and this author. Please go one click. Danielle, your writing style is superb. This is an amazing book and I happily award it 5 stars!!!!

Joke of a hero. He's a cheater and a coward who continuously runs away. He shouldn't be idolised and frankly, I'm disgusted she gave him a second chance.

He walked out on his step-sister/ lover Raven after she gives birth to their still borne child because his Dad says so. Wtf. I'm sorry, you are a legal adult, don't listen to your f*cking father and be there for her. Instead he just screws other girls, like always.

She sinks into depression, and their parents marriage breaks down after their relationship comes to light.

Then after a chance meeting four years later, FOUR years, and he's a successful golf player, he wants her back and stands up to his Dad.

TOO LATE BUDDY.

Obviously the dumb b*tch Raven doesn't think so and takes him back like the doormat she is so they can have their happily ever after and pop out new babies.

Great conclusion to this series! I ugly cried through this book, but I couldn't put it down. The other two books were about Linc and Raven dealing with their attraction towards each other, but keeping it a secret from their parents because of the scandal it could cause in their parents professional lives. But this one takes it to a totally different level of heart ache, loss, and second chances. When you read the dedication you know right away that this book is dealing with the loss of a baby and suicide, so if that is something that is difficult for you to read, I suggest you skip this one. If not, prepare to be emotional and have a lot of tissue on hand.

The conclusion to Linc and Raven's love story. This book takes place four years after the wedding of their parents but it does flashback to fill in the gaps. This is a very emotional story so have your tissues ready. Especially if you ever experienced what Raven went through, which I have.
You will want to hate Linc at times until you realize he was not fully to blame. You will then love him again. Raven is a very strong character. I loved their story as heartbroken as it was. Yes it was a bit taboo, but they weren't raised together. I wish their story didn't end I will miss Raven and Linc.

OMgoodness, what a battle Linc & Raven have fought. This is book three of their story and it was a doosie of a ride. I don't really understand what Raven's mother and Linc's father are in such a uproar. I mean the two of them new each other before there parents started dating. It's not like they were even raise together at all.

This is a wonderfully written story of loss and love as well as a bit of redemption. I couldn't put it down.
