The Return: The Gift Trilogy: Book III

Rate this book
Angelina Landon has a problem. Her dead boyfriend, Harry Newton, shows up at the most inconvenient times, especially when she's making love to her new boyfriend. First introduced in "The Gift" as a child with a variety of paranormal skills, including telepathy and pre-cognition, Angelina is now a nurse living in New York. After the murder of Harry in "The Torment," Angelina has found the only way she can survive is to pretend the past never happened. She has cut herself off from friends and family, changed her appearance, and lives a solitary life. A coincidental meeting with Sean West, a member of the paranormal activities team for which she used to work, leads to her agreeing to work with him on the case of a missing teenage girl. Sparks fly between the two and she agrees to a "friends with benefits" relationship all while trying to resurrect her gift of paranormal abilities. Harry, however, re-appears to give advice and guide her in the missing girl's case, muddying the sexual waters between she and Sean. The final installment of "The Gift Trilogy," the characters from the previous books all make their return to help Angelina as she maneuvers the emotionally painful road back to the type of existence she had once treasured.

Being the only girl in her family, in fact the first female born into her father's family in sixty-five years, Sandy found escape from Matchbox cars, smelly bathrooms, and a general disdain for anything feminine, in books. Eventually the characters in her own head, clamoring to get out, found their way to paper. "Wait for Me" is her first novel and represents her love of history, romance, and a touch of paranormal.

In her real life, Sandy works as a speech language pathologist and moved to her dream town in Florida from the Midwest with her husband, two sons, and spoiled dog. She dreams in full length movies and tries her best to find quiet times to get them onto paper.

She loves your reviews and hopes that you are moved enough by her writing to share your thoughts. Be sure to visit her blog at http://sandyhuth.com/ and follow her on Tumblr.
