Double-crossed and trapped deep within an ancient Egyptian temple, Ororo must fight her way to freedom in time to stop sinister plans from being set in motion--plans that could very well lead to the resurrection of the ancient mutant En Sabah Nur...and a new Age of Apocalypse! The early adventures of Ororo conclude here!
A fine conclusion. The girls end up not hating each other after all, which is good. Storm is a tricky character to do a young backstory intended for kids, and she comes across as very wooden and boring even when she is doing heroic stunts.
Would give to kids who are interested in Storm and already like reading. This one won't win anyone over. Not too difficult a reading level. Example of harder words: Ozymandias, naught, centuries.
I really enjoyed reading this four part story of Ororo/Storm and her childhood adventures. Visually very refreshing and four issues go so fast. Recommended.
