This is a short story.
Amy's life is full of joy and pain. A childhood trip to an amusement park with her parents introduces her to the carousel, and to a particular unicorn that will follow her throughout her life. Amy struggles to understand the meaning of her strange relationship with the unicorn, eventually banishing it because of the memories it brings.
