This book follows the incredible and deeply moving stories of the Victoria Cross recipients of WWI. Most of whom, paid the ultimate price. One in four did not survive to have the medal pinned to their uniform.

Brilliant book well researched and written with loads of pictures and photos in to make the deeds and citations really hit home. Well worth reading if your interested in the heroics and deeds done in WW1 in all theatres to earn the VC. Set out year by year so it flows and reads really well. Totally recommend this book to all War history fans.
