This is an interesting series. The book follows the adventures of 3 "kid" detectives as they solve mysteries and fight crime! Children who are reading the book must read the text and then study picture clues to try and find figure out what the detectives are seeing. I have been reading it to a 4th & 2nd grade class and they have LOVED it. (You can show the picture clues on an overhead projector). Great fun for kids...less fun for adults but it isn't written to entertain us! High motivation for reluctant readers and very friendly format.
