What is SEO Writing & Why Do I Care?

I recently read a book by Avery Breyer called Turn Your Computer Into A Money Machine. Provocative title.
Fortunately this is not a get-rich-quick book nor is it super detailed. But it is a practical, crystal clear outline how someone turned their computer into a money machine but learning and applying practical principles in writing for blogs, websites and others (whose writing skills may not be the best or they don’t have the time).
What a gig. And yet she’s factored into making $60 an hour doing this. How?

Yes, I know this sounds more like a commercial than a review. I was impressed with the informal style of the book and unlike many ebooks I’ve read I did not see any typos or odd English.
I do like writing and may just take the author up on the freebies on her website and write a few articles. I may not be the next Shakespeare but I know a thing or to. Who knows, someone just might read it!

This is the book I have been looking for. I have decided to go with my true passion and write for a living. This book by Avery Breyer lays it all out for you in simple and direct terms. He gives good examples and plenty of instruction on how to do it. I am going to do it. I need to do it, and Turn Your Computer Into a Money Machine is the guide I need to show me how to make the most I can at what I love to do. He writes from experience, not from theory. He has proven that you can make what you want to make as a writer.
I like the idea of ghost writing, but I refuse to hire a ghost writer, so therefore, I want to be the ghost writer. If I can write for my own clients as well as write for other writer's clients, I don't mind sharing the wealth and it will give me more experience. He gives you plenty of tips on how to make your writing better, including many of the Do's and Don'ts. He also gives you resources for further research. I'm glad I found this book.

NEVER DONE SEO but now I feel I can after reading this book.
One thing I love about this book is that Avery is like a real coach screaming at you from the beginning that "HEY YOU CAN DO THIS IF YOU PUT THE WORK IN!!" Okay maybe she's not screaming, but she gives you the confidence to believe in you and you're capable of doing this. Great read for someone like me that's never done SEO but heard of it before. So read it check it out. It might even inspire some other ideas like it did me. See you at the top!

This is a really interesting how-to book. Having a modest interest in being a freelance writer for online content, I was curious as to what the author had to say.
Though I am practically doing all he advises, I am yet not convinced to try my hand. Time is not the best commodity that I have at the moment.
Overall--this was well-written, easily understood, and would put others at an advantage they may not have obtained.

Great explanation on how to make extra money
As a writer I am always looking for books on how to improve my own writing. This book is an excellent read on how to enter what appears to be a very lucrative endeavor in SEO writing. I look forward to implementing the ideas set forth in the book shortly.

Wow! This book was amazing! Avery did a great job on the book's layout and presentation. Her resources were spot on and reliable, the cover is well-done, and the pictures were clearly visible and legible on Kindle and on the phone screen in the app. Best of all, I only found 1 typo in the entire book. As an editor, I have a keen eye for typos. I get really happy when I can read a published book that isn't full of them.
If you're wanting to break into the writing business and you enjoy doing research and writing short articles for businesses, then you should read this book. Avery explains in clear and simple terms how to get started and how to succeed. She even has a free offer in the book to give continued assistance beyond the pages of this book.
Granted, there is a little more to SEO than what she goes into in this book, however, this will definitely help you get your foot in the door for SEO article writing. I absolutely recommend this book.

Breyer explains how to make money by becoming SEO writer (i.e. writing 500 word blog posts that can rank high on search engines).
The book is written in a simple language and has a clear message. It explains what you need for becoming SEO writer (computer, internet access, personal web page, and sample articles). It explains how these articles should be written (keyword placement, simple sentences, short paragraphs), and how to approach customers. It doesn't provide, however, how to find the first customers.
High income (i.e. $60 per hour) is achieving by writing articles faster (i.e. writing three $20 article in one hour). Here I find hard to believe one can achieve quality writing doing this 8h a day, every day. However, starting with similar articles and then moving on to more specialized articles (and more expensive ones) can allow you more income as the author suggests.

Easy read with ideas that can be put to work now
I liked this book. It's one of those you can read in about an hour, but actually includes useful info to get going. I just finished the book, as soon as I am done with this review, I'm going to start doing the plan she laid out. It's simple, but even the pages that had info I already knew, had some useful new little gem of information. It's not going to probably make you a millionaire (although it could be possible I guess) this is a practical book with practical info to make real and legitimate money in the real world

I find the author's points to be very straightforward. This is really helpful and practical. The step-by-step guide is so easy to follow through too. Just about everyone could do it! Thus, I'm rating this book 5 stars over 5.

I learned how to build Webpages now about SEO writing
I'm an aspiring freelancer and have been working on learning how to build webpages and Wordpress themes. This book compliments my recent efforts by teaching best practices for SEO writing. Definitely recommend this to anyone new or experiencing a low period in their freelance business. Even if it's not SEO writing, the underlining principles detailed in this book can be applied to most services.

Good book but needs more meat.
I enjoyed reading the book and it gave a great amount of beginner information. That being said, I would like to know how to make contact with the buyers. It would also be nice to see how many of the people who read this book have tried being SEO writers and if they had any success. Ill be looking more into possibly this type of work after reading the book.

This book should be called "Be a ghostwriter and let me funnel you to my back-end stuff". She brought up her website and material so many times I almost stopped reading. There are some good things about starting out as a ghostwriter, but I felt the title was very misleading as it basically just took one topic and used a click-bait title to get you to buy it. I'm glad it was only a borrow, and this book is a waste of time for anyone that does NOT want to be a ghostwriter.

Starting my journey
I just finished my book and I so did not expect to get so much valuable information in such a short time reading. It had me exited to start this journey the knowledge that I gained had me feeling so confident. The fact that the material was written in a way that it allowed my ADHD self to stay focused while reading had surprised me. Let’s see how my journey goes lol.

Insightful
I did find this book helpful and provides a many tips to get going and to succeed down the road. The one thing I disliked that cost it a star is because of it intentionally leaving out many helpful tips that can only be obtained in his blog which was referenced numerous times each chapter. I would've preferred to have all the information in the book I purchased and not in emails if have to get everyday.

A lot of fluff, but good info in between
When reading this book, I found myself skimming most of it to find the important parts and parts that were applicable to me.
Some of it felt like it was gimmicky or one big advertisement to sign up for the author’s website.
The info one needs to get started IS in this book, however, it is scattered and purely enough to get one’s pinky toe wet.
It did introduce me to this idea, though, for that I am grateful.

I liked this book because it was simple and straight forward. This book is for people who are willing to invest In themselves by finishing book all the way through and following what the author says.
One thing I did find boring was the occasional deep definitions for the simple things. I understand that the author can’t assume that everyone will know what a budget is or what a computer is. Good read and can’t wait to see if these methods work!

I wasn't sure what method was talked about in this book based on the title but it was surprisingly a good read. I read it in one sitting and feel like I learned a semester worth of information. I've always been intimidated by SEO but after reading this book I feel confident that I am able to pull this off. I will update in a few months on how the steps laid out worked for me. This book was published 5 years ago so I hope the information isn't outdated.

To earn extra income
I was already aware of the main instrument the author mentioned and goes around and around in this book. The various tips and tricks are practical. The only thing I am always look out for is information around taxes, and what if you are on a student visa in the US? Like other books, this book too doesn’t address these important obstacles to earning extra income.

The content is okay. It helps you get started writing articles that are SEO friendly for websites and charge for them.
What I really disliked is the constant advertising of the group that is free to join (Facebook group I guess)
Over and over mentioned in the book. It just gets too old to keep reading the same invitation.
If you know nothing at all about putting together a SEO oriented article, this book could help you. Otherwise just skip it.

I felt the title of this book was a little misleading. I felt like I was going to get several different ways to make money online but it was focused on writing SEO. Which doesn't really appeal to me. The information in the book was straightforward and to the point if Writing and SEO is what you are looking for.

I gave this book 4-Stars because of how organized, short yet succinctly written it was. A book like this can only get the 5th Star if you apply the directions that come with it and it turns out to have worked. He covers both the foundational information need to be an SEO Freelance Writer, likewise he also gives tips for reviewing your work and finding work, and addresses pitfalls too.
