I ended up looking through it. I think it is difficult to teach techniques in books. This is a good attempt to give some basic information on drawing. I'll go back to YouTube for help though. Seeing the process is better than trying to read about it. If your starting out this is an OK book, but if you want to really dive into drawing a video would be more helpful.
