His name is Caleb, and he is a dream traveler.

- wind chime was a bit underwhelming unlike Lucid Dream. it was okay, but didn’t hit me as much as lucid dream did because some parts were predictable. I really loved the fantasy-ish vibe of the story.
It's my first time ulit bumalik sa tagalog books. I like it na happy ending siya ❤️ and eto ang first book na natapos ko for 2024 yeheyyy!! Road to over 100 books this year! -------- Okay so here's my favorite part where I left my bookmark 🔖
1. Yung part na POV ni Caleb. I really like it kapag yung author ay naglalagay ng ibang POV sa ibang characters, at hindi lang pixated sa isa. Mas maganda kasi malaman yung side at iniisip ng ibang POVs. And I like na pinakita talaga how much Caleb loves Angelique.
3. Which is yung last part, obviously, yung nagkita na sila at happy ending yung nangyari. It's really nice na nagkita na sila FOR THE FIRST TIME sa reality. Like diba dapat medyo magbabago itsura nila? Sana lang namention yon sa story, to add more detail sa scenario.
One of the underrated Wattpad books before and I honestly think the whole plot was unique and enticing. My favourite of all time and hope I could have a copy soon hehe.
I bought this very popular Wattpad book by #Psicom last #MIBF2023.
Andun 'yung usual tropes mo like waking up in the morning ang umpisa ng storya, meet-cute ng characters, poor but smart and ambitious girl ang bida, etc.
I'm sure marami na ang nakapaglahad ng similar elements about lucid dreamers and dream travelers.
Teens with their constant daydreaming and Kdrama imaginary boyfriends, talagang swak ito.
The kilig scenes are actually nakakakilig naman for a teenager. Fast-paced pero I think sapat lang for this type of stories. Medyo nahuhulaan ko na ang ending after reading just 3 chapters.
Reality vs Fantasy ang conflict, parehas nailatag ang points. Good job kay author.
May inconsistencies with details nga lang, minor nitpick.
By the middle act, it started to warm up with the worldbuilding—fantasy and mystery surrounding Caleb, the dream traveller. Nightmare fuel in hindsight, but light lang ang tone kaya bearable.
Emotional naman, promising pero predictable. It feels like a modern rendition of a fairy tale with low fantasy elements and not-yet-built rules of magic and focused more on telling a simple tale.
The stretched ending is worth to read till the end. Plus a surprise that serves as a delight for fantasy fans like me.
Overall, it was a short but sweet story.
This has been sitting on my shelf for so long and finally, I was able to read it!
Loved that ate Aly was able to make a story about lucid dreaming... but to be honest, the first few lines did not appeal to me that much, and also, some lines made me cringe but I continued reading because I loved ate Aly's SWSCA and TLA so much (that duology made me interested in Greek Mythology). I was ready to say that it was an "okay" read until I get to the second half of the book where things get interesting. I predicted some of the plot twists but what I didn't expect is I'll be attached right away to Caleb. He reminds me of Cupid SWSCA/TLA version, dude. Also, some of the lines are very relatable since most of them are tied to some social problems here in our country (subtle lang naman). Angelique's character was relatable, too. Perhaps, I'll be able to love them more if the book wasn't short.
The ending is so-so. Nonetheless, I like the book. Wasn't the best but it's good for starters sa Fantasy genre. :)
P.S. Hindi ako sure kung ano naunang book ni ate, SWSCA (and TLA) or itong LD?
Actually i came back to goodreads just to write a review. Sobrang natuto ako may napulot na aral dito. The time i read this hindi ako sure kung ano ang ita-take kong college course, kung itutuloy koba ang vet or hindi? I have so many doubts in myself "Mahirap makapasok sa UP", "6 years yung course may board pa", "Wala akong pera para sa ganoong katagal na pag-aaral." Pero this book made me realize na hindi kona dapat tatahakin ang vetmed kung in the first place duwag ako. I remembered reading the line Caleb said "Right! Ayaw mong masaktan at mag take ng risk diba? This made a huge impact on me. Siguro nga nakukulitan nasiya sakin kakasabi ko ng "Lord give me a sign." Hahahah.
The book was alright compared to some of the other stories I've read although I've only read a few wattpad books so I've not much to compare to.
The cast are nice although they feel like your typical wattpad characters. Th book is nicely written and is written like how you would a book (at least I didn't see any emojis being used instead of actual descriptions). The story is interesting although in some parts sorta predictable but it was fine. It can get boring in some parts though which is why it took me a bit to finish reading. It also ends with a sort of sequel hook and I'm not sure if another book is out to explain the magic parts of the story which seems to be the focus of whatever the sequel is judging from the small scene at the end.
Lucid Dream is one of my favorite novel book written by ate Aly ( one of my favorite Filipino author).
A fantasy romance story about dream, and reality. The lesson of this book is that our reality is better than our dreams. That even at first we feel that we are living not happily or we feel that why our reality is like this, still in the right time and at the right moment, everything will feels right. That finally we can say that 'My reality is better than my dreams.'
I can't recall the exact date that I've read this book but I'll tell you something, this has been my total fave when I was in my middle-school days. I've re-read this over and over again and can't still get over it.
First book i ever read mga 2-3 years ago? ang ganda nya wattpad type yung pagsulat nya(idk if that makes sense) pero yung huling part na nagkita sila uli is what really set me off like napawowie ako ang super sweet nung last sanaol nlng😭 till this day d ko sya nakakalimutan kakilig lng talaga

I re-read this book. Huhu napakaganda pa rin ng plot. Loved this! I've read this when I was in my jhs and now that I'm in my last year in shs, it just feels so good to re-read since some of my perspective/thoughts on this book changed... I enjoyed reading this!
I have finished this book years ago, but I still remeber that I truly enjoyed it because I would literally would stop and stare everytime I encounter this book. Also this added fuel to make me really visit japan and walk in the sakura lane 😭💕
It was way back in 2014, I read this book. Alyloony is one of my favorite Filipino wattpad authors. As I remember this story is a fantasy romance novel and I enjoyed reading this. (Actually, I borrowed my classmate's book just to read this haha!)
Honestly this book is good. I don't know if I was just on my reading slump or so. Probably I am on my reading slump, but even so I still find this as a good book. It brings comfort and it's just light for me. Though it didn't put me away from my reading slump, but it was still a good book.
First physical book I've ever read. Grabe ang iyakan ko rito the night I read it. I've read it a million times already na siguro pero it always hits the same pain and soft spot. Humorous, nakakakilig, painful and heartbreaking.
Made me grow my love for reading I'm pretty sure. 🥹
I read this idk years ago pero I still remember the feeling this book gave me. It was a relatable, beautiful, rollercoaster journey I had. This has gotta be my favorite fantasy book na isinulat ng Filipino author. Highly recommend! 💞
nung una medyo na cringe-an ako sa mga lines, pero gets kasi 2015 pa na published kaya gew sis. graaah nung malapit na mag ending medj natanggap ko na na okaay hindi endgame which is cool ack like gets ulit bakit hindi sila pwede, natanggap ko na siya mga 99% tas biglang nakaalala si caleb 😭😩💔
Now that i think about it, lucid dream is now my favorite wattpad story, this book contains so much emotions and tbh you'll realky enjoy that. Amazing work alyloony!!
