This book was good. I loved everything about the writing. The storyline was great and I enjoyed each and every one of the characters. Even the ones I hated. What did I love about the characters? I loved the CheChe is so strong and that no matter how many times she gets knocked down she gets back up. I love Tika she is a good friend and not a “yes” woman, when CheChe is doing wrong, Shantika is the first to let her know. I love how Mr and Mrs Micheal treat CheChe like the daughter they never had. What I hated? I hated that CheChe wanted to still be with Geek even after she found out he was married. I understand that the heart wants what it wants and the did have a baby together (RIP). I was so happy when she met Dale. Speaking of Dale, he is too perfect so I really hope he doesn’t turn out to be a lunatic like Tangi. Tangi is CRAZY 😜, but she is also one of those characters that I love to hate. All in all it was a very good read. The ending was a SHOCKER!!! I did have to stop reading and go back and read Fallin’ for a Boss and Married to a Boss series so that I was up to date on who Stacks was. I CANNOT WAIT TO READ BOOK 3!

Much better than the first one, the story blended but it still needs editing and a little more depth to the story. Geek and Tommy seem to be out of character from when they first came into the story. We don’t hear much from Eyanna, you’d think she’d be a bigger part of the chaos but she’s not. I have a feeling Dale is up to something but Tangi seems to be playing all sides to fall. I was hoping to see a bit more from Stacks but he seems to be just the eyes and ears of what’s really going on. We don’t get much out of Smoke and I’m actually wanting him to fall because he’s not really playing any part in the story. I hope the next one is good.

Kuarache made me mad this book. after everything Greek put her through and after finding out that he was married she still continued to sleep with him. i understand that she loved him, but he meant her no good. he was toxic. i can’t believe that Smoke didn’t see through Tangi. he’s supposed to be a great judge of character and top notch in the streets by he couldn’t tell that he was being played. Eyanna should’ve known that those charges weren’t gonna stick. there was no real evidence linking CheChe to the murder. what i can’t believe is that the judge is her mom. i can’t wait to see how this plays out

I didn't think this book could get any better but it did. Karrueche can't catch a break geesh this poor child 18 has lived a hard life.I hope things looks up for her in this 3rd book

The bomb
Even though there is some minor errors in this book it's getting better and better. I'm mad at myself that I am just reading this series. Now I'm getting ready to read the 3rd and hopefully final book in this series.

I must say the disappointment in Karreuche is real. I dont know why she keep letting Geek play with her feelings. I wish her and Smoke get it together.

Disappointing
I anxiously awaited the sequel to part 1 and unfortunately upon completion I did not have the overall feeling of satisfaction that I felt at the end of pt. 1. The situationship that Smoke and Karreuche were involved in was seemingly endless causing the reader to have a feeling of tedium while reading. Geek and Tommy were plain and simple a--holes. They have absolutely no redeeming qualities and if the truth be told should have been ousted from the crew long ago. I thought Smoke was a lot smarter than his actions showed in the book. The fact that he was sleeping with the enemy and was unable to pick up any negative or bad vibes from her spoke volumes to me. Even Shantinka was leary of Tango upon meeting her and she plainly stated she was a snake up to no good. Karreuche, Karreuche, Karreuche, when she continued to deal with Geek after she became aware of his marital status I lost a little bit of respect for her. Not only did she allow herself to be regulated to the sidelines as a sidepiece, but on top of that she willingly accepted his physical abuse. How or Why she felt it necessary to stick by a man that constantly physically, mentally, and spiritually abuse her person was mind boggling to me. She left the blinders on so long that when she finally became aware of what was happening in her face she consciously chose to continue in this toxic relationship. While I totally disliked the Draya character, Karreuche deserved that a-- kicking and then some. The fact that she had a friend like Shatinka who was willing to speak plain truth without sugar cxoatinf or downplaying the error of Karreuche's ways was extremely rewarding.

PART 3 CANT COME FAST ENOUGH
Eventhough i know the charges against K wont still Eyanna starting to get a little sloppy..Fingers crossed I hope Shantika is not dead pp cant never just let ppl be happy if its not with them Tommy is a bleep for that now Smoke and Journi really gone be hot on they trail, i cant wait too see how Tang gets caught up...will Smoke and K finally get it together so looking forward to book 3 lets get it !!!!!!

If she don't stop playing with my emotions like this! Geek I thought he would be better than that with his selfish ass. Tommy was no better I can't wait for them to get theirs. I'm happy that CheChe was showing some growth and hopefully she'll find her happily ever after. That ending was like whoa! I can't wait for part 3.

I love this series
I have read several books by Lucinda John and they are all so good. I read this second part in 1 day, I can't wait til the 31st for book 3 to drop. I love how she delivers that fire and doesn't make us wait long for the next installment. If you haven't read this series you missing out....

I love all of Lucinda johns books she always have me up all night when I read and this was no different I wasnt able to put the book down I just hope the girls have some better luck in the next book and I'm not really feeling Dale he seems sneaky so I guess I'm with smoke and journey lol

Great Book
This part was even better than the first. I can't wait to read part 3. The back and forth between karreuche and smoke was just frustrating. Although I like Dale as her boyfriend. Eyanna has been getting away with dirt for too long now. Hopefully in part 3, that comes to an end. And I'll must know what happened to Shantika. I really like her strength as a woman.
