Resplendent Rush by Bella J. I had been waiting for this book ever since I read her debut novel Resplendent Ruin. When I thought nothing can surpass Knox & Juliette’s story, she surprised me with Lexi & Levi. And what a surprise it was, holy smokes this book is not at all predictable, it will leave you wanting more. Just the perfect combination of scorching hot chemistry & drama to keep you captive. This review will be short because I don't want to give away too much about the story.
Alexandra Mason aka Lexi aka Petite as you know of is a fun loving and hard working interior designer. She has a commitment phobia when it comes to her personal life because of her mother’s influence in her and her sister’s life almost destroyed them. Life is going pretty kicks for her until one day she meets Sergeant Buchanan aka Levi aka Samson. Chemistry is instant when they first meet at the opening of a club she worked on. Lexi doesn't do one night stands but she couldn't resist this temptation. It was just supposed to be a one night stand, but Levi kept coming back. They couldn't keep their hands off each other.
They move in together and start a new life, until one day Levi dropped a hint of getting married, after Juliette & Knox eloped. It sent her running to the hills but she ask for time. Meanwhile Levi’s brother, who is nothing but trouble comes to visit them and Lexi tries to mend the sour relationship between the brothers. AWESOME! LEXI AND LEVI WERE ELECTRIC!
You see, I met this couple, they were in this book I LOVED called Resplendent Ruin.. their names were Lexi and Levi. They were explosive with their sexual chemistry and easy banter. They were sweet, sexy, HOT, but there was something there that had warning written all over it. Something that said- we need our own book!! Luckily, they are the brain child of Author Bella J and she didn't just give them a book, but a beautiful and sexy story!
When two people meet and there are immediate fireworks of sexual chemistry and lust, well, you just have to act on it. There is a law out there somewhere that requires it!! Lexi and Levi wear these invisible magnets that are only set off for each other and they are off the charts when they meet. They go into their own universe where no one exists, they only have eyes for one another and all the other body parts are right there on board for the hot ride. What these two also know is these magnets are also acting as shields, shields to their heart protecting them from be vulnerable and letting love in.
Levi is a military man and knows first hand the separation and loss that comes with that type of commitment and he isn't so sure he wants to go through all that again. Lexi is very familiar with how giving someone the power of your love can be emotionally devastating. But while she is trying so hard not to be her mother, she may just be doing a better job at being exactly like her by refusing love. Levi, of course, won't stand for that and makes it his mission to free her from her fear of love. That is until his little brother Jax appears bringing with them enough trouble and danger to destroy everything.
Who can Lexi trust? Can Levi help Jax without destroying those closest to him? Is this between Lexi and Levi pure lust or could it be love, a forever love? In a RUSH to figure this all out, who is collateral damage?
I enjoyed this book greatly. When you get a book that draws you from the beginning, keeps you hanging on every word, dreading the end of book, but then has you begging for the author to write a Book 3, yeap--- that's a SUCCESS!

Funny and sexy, this a fun-to-read story about two people with foibles and hang-ups aplenty who allowed love to let them grow. Lexi was commitment-phobic but Levi was determined to scale her defenses with everything in his arsenal—including rock-hard abs, buns of steel and a talent for cooking. Naked chef? Yum!
For me, the dialogue between Lexi and Levi made up the bulk—and the best—of the story. Well, their sex-capades were pretty hot as well. Okay, scorching…they were scorching hot! The sexy back and forth between them had no filters or bounds in both conversation and deed as the sexual chemistry between them was off the charts. No, that’s not true—it wasn’t even in the same room as the charts! They couldn’t keep their hands off each other and it felt a little dirty reading some of the passages. Deliciously, deliciously, dirty….
At the same time, the two seemed to generally like and care for each other. Lexi was confident and had no problems speaking her mind. I didn’t dislike her but there was an edginess that seemed to keep her at arm’s length. As Levi crept more and more under her skin, the superficial gave way to the woman beneath who felt things very deeply. And naming her girly parts? How could I not like her after that?
I had absolutely no problems jumping on Team Levi. Well, I was thinking of jumping other things but the team wagon works too. Ex-military, Levi had many endearing qualities including the way he sparred with, and loved, Lexi.
“Petite, give me the spoon. It’s not fair for you to take it out on your ass…”
Did I mention he also had a mouth on him that he used to perfection in so many different ways? Consider it said!

What the... ? I cannot believe that's how this ended...mouth left wide open.
Lexi and Levi have an addiction to each other that is felt in all the pages, while I wish we had a little more ... I don't mind cause my imagination fills in the blanks.
Usually I have a very hard time reading third person POV but the way Bella J does it, it makes it feel more of a dual POV. I like that I get into both their heads. I need both POV, at one point I needed more of one POV and was left hanging.. But it didn't take away from the story.
I related to Lexi and Levi and maybe because I'm a spitfire (according to my husband) and I'm short (a measly 5ft 2in, and I could picture the characters because they reminded me (on some levels) of my relationship with my husband. There relationship is very passionate.
Oh and guess what! Knox does have a cameo for those who want to know if we'll here or see Juliette and Knox, you get to.. That's all I'll say. Of course he does I mean Juliette is Lexi's sister. For all of you who read my review for Resplendent Ruin, #KnoxIsMine, I would like to say that Levi stole his place, but in all honesty really how is that even possible?! I guess I'm not ready to let him go...
I am however really, really hoping there's another book and soon! I'd love to see more about Kim (Lexi's BFF) and Jax who I pictured as a Cody Walker (Paul Walker's younger brother)

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!
This was unexpected in the way the story played out. Days after and I'm still trying to wrap my head around a few things. Yeah, um, yeah. Let me start over here.
I loved how the story kinda backtracked and we got to see how Levi and Lexi met and the start of their relationship. It was good to get a better sense of them after meeting them in RR1. I immediately fell in love with Lexi then. She was funny and was very curious about her story. Levi also intrigued me. So of course, I wasted no time in starting Rush. I just had to. There were no two ways about it.
This was intense, passionate, sexy as all get out, and very, very unexpected in terms of the storyline. It just veered totally in a different direction from where I thought things were going. Gotta love when a book takes you on that unexpected ride making it all that more enjoyable.
I'm also glad at the peaks of Juliette and Knox. Things are progressing very well for them.
Holy flipping crap, I need to Rage, like NOW! I need Jax's story and I need to know what happens. So loving this series!

My second read from this author and I am looking forward to more like maybe Jax and Kim haha.
I knew who the bad guy was pretty soon and I got to the point I was like "Noooo". I can't believe it ended like it did I am left craving more!!
The relationship between Lexi and Levi is great, they are fun and sarcastic and had great chemistry. I'm glad we got to see a bit more of Knox and Juliette as well.

Book 2 in the series and wow just wow,it gets better and better.
This is Lexi and Levi's story and believe me it's super hot,steamy and intense.
Include a wayward brother and a couple of nasty bad guys into the plot and the story becomes explosive.
The ending just leaves you wanting more and I can't wait to see were this story takes us in book 3.

Even better than book 1, Resplendent Rush lives up to it's name!
Resplendent Rush is book two of the Resplendence series and opens with a flash back to a little more than a year ago when Lexi met Levi, when an accidental collision reversed the course for both of their lives. Lexi is a huge character. Vivacious, fearless, sassy and classy. I enjoyed her even more this go round. Short and an absolute fire cracker, it was so easy to root for her come what may. Levi was a really great hero. Cheeky and cocky, protective and loyal and damn he made me laugh!
The banter alone sold me and drew me into this novel. Two highly sexual, highly enamored and supremely well matched people who only want to love one another without the risk that all lovers take- that the love they share can ensnare them too deeply and ruin them. A gamble they dance around cautiously, until trouble arrives in the form of Levi’s little brother, who has baggage the likes of which could destroy Levi and Lexi- forever.
Resplendent Rush is an easy book to get lost in. The story follows Lexi and Levi as we flash back in time to see how they fell in love. My favorite moments were where they teased one another mercilessly, only to find home in one another’s eyes. They are ridiculously sexually compatible and have a really good thing going. It was beyond easy to get lost in all the good feels going on- too lost, as there are many moments where things were just too perfect for the couple and my mind would drift and wonder, okay, candy’s dandy but where’s the beef! With the exception of a romantic rival who uses his position as a business partner to try to get close to Lexi- something that Levi is vehemently opposed to; and an upstart little tart who unabashedly throws herself at Levi (newsflash, he’s so not interested honey) – with the exception of these two meddling bozos, things are a little too smooth for the pair. So thank goodness the writing totally delivers in the banter and dialogue department with punchy quips and hilarious commentary all working and lending some color to a pretty safe and tame story.
Levi has no problem letting his possessive flag fly high when Lexi finds herself in one too many precarious situations with multi- millionaire club owner, Reed McCaw. Lexi’s one sided flirtation with Reed was more so comedic relief, because just like with the tart (Nicole) who tossed her lady parts at Levi, it is so abundantly clear that there will not be an ounce of infidelity, neither romantic rival stood a chance and I felt little to no anxiety about their antics. Again, really good romantic feels from these two!
After a lot of lovey dovey, sexy (very) smexy times, the shocking arrival of Jax, Levi’s younger brother, finally turns the story on its head and what was once a low angst, funny rom-com, suddenly had an air of danger. I’d be remiss if I didn’t share that there was a bit of a disconnect for me with the “sinister” subplot that was Jax’s “issue.” It was explained well that Jax was trouble, and I didn’t even mind that he was just plopped into the plot without any preamble. The obstacle I had with the Jax subplot is that it felt too far fetched and the heroic plan that Levi (and book 1, Hero), Knox, come up with seems even more far fetched, so as I read I had a little niggling of “seriously” getting in the way of all the action! BUT, the upside of Jax’s arrival and subsequent hell that breaks loose- is that we get to, peripherally, see him fall for Lexi’s BFF, Kim, and it is immediately evident that Kim and Jax are going to burn. up. the. pages in their book, Resplendent Rage, due out in March.
What starts out as a super sexy and funny comedic romance, evolves into something a little more sinister and the balance is nice, though there was a little “rug-from-right- under-me” moment when I realized I was starting to read a different kind of story-things were golden for chapters on end, and then a hurricane of hell touched down and things got dicey with Lexi and Levi. Their solid foundation, suddenly rocked to its core. Gale force winds of WTF, blew in and I felt a little hoodwinked and bested by the plot twist and dammit, but I liked it. Well played Bella J! There is a fine line when throwing readers off course and the author toed this line juuuuust right.
Ultimately, I think Resplendent Rush could stand alone, but you really gain an appreciation for the supporting characters if you start with book one. However, if you decide to jump right in feet first, Resplendent Rush is a mighty fine platform to spring from and a marked improvement from its predecessor,Resplendent Ruin, I’m looking at you!
There is a sweeping, dramatic, and emo-feel to the Resplendence series. If you are a fan of such sexy tales that are simply written, yet take you on a nice emotional journey, this could be the series for you. I for one, am properly tantalized and have a great appreciation that I did NOT see that ending coming. Whoa! And I don’t even like cliffhangers, so the wait until the next release just very well may have me in…. resplendent agony!

Lexi’s one sided flirtation with Reed was more so comedic relief, because just like with the tart (Nicole) who tossed her lady parts at Levi, it is so abundantly clear that there will not be an ounce of infidelity, neither romantic rival stood a chance and I felt little to no anxiety about their antics. Again, really good romantic feels from these two!
After a lot of lovey dovey, sexy (very) smexy times, the shocking arrival of Jax, Levi’s younger brother, finally turns the story on its head and what was once a low angst, funny rom-com, suddenly had an air of danger. I’d be remiss if I didn’t share that there was a bit of a disconnect for me with the “sinister” subplot that was Jax’s “issue.” It was explained well that Jax was trouble, and I didn’t even mind that he was just plopped into the plot without any preamble. The obstacle I had with the Jax subplot is that it felt too far fetched and the heroic plan that Levi (and book 1, Hero), Knox, come up with seems even more far fetched, so as I read I had a little niggling of “seriously” getting in the way of all the action! BUT, the upside of Jax’s arrival and subsequent hell that breaks loose- is that we get to, peripherally, see him fall for Lexi’s BFF, Kim, and it is immediately evident that Kim and Jax are going to burn. up. the. pages in their book, Resplendent Rage, due out in March.
What starts out as a super sexy and funny comedic romance, evolves into something a little more sinister and the balance is nice, though there was a little “rug-from-right- under-me” moment when I realized I was starting to read a different kind of story-things were golden for chapters on end, and then a hurricane of hell touched down and things got dicey with Lexi and Levi. Their solid foundation, suddenly rocked to its core. Gale force winds of WTF, blew in and I felt a little hoodwinked and bested by the plot twist and dammit, but I liked it. Well played Bella J! There is a fine line when throwing readers off course and the author toed this line juuuuust right.
Ultimately, I think Resplendent Rush could stand alone, but you really gain an appreciation for the supporting characters if you start with book one. However, if you decide to jump right in feet first, Resplendent Rush is a mighty fine platform to spring from and a marked improvement from its predecessor,Resplendent Ruin, I’m looking at you!
There is a sweeping, dramatic, and emo-feel to the Resplendence series. If you are a fan of such sexy tales that are simply written, yet take you on a nice emotional journey, this could be the series for you. I for one, am properly tantalized and have a great appreciation that I did NOT see that ending coming. Whoa! And I don’t even like cliffhangers, so the wait until the next release just very well may have me in…. resplendent agony!

Each book just makes me fall more in love with this series. Like a delectable bar of your favorite chocolate, you want to keep on savoring it and don't want it to end. Lexi and Levi, They are made for each other. This couple is one of those couples that you just can't imagine them with anyone else. I was very intrigued in book one to read their story and am oh so glad to have gotten my hands on this beauty. This book just doesn't need a description. If you love a good romance, one that sucks you in like nothing else. Go read this one. Loved it 💖

Resplendent Rush by Bella J is the second book in her Resplendence Series. Each book features a couple within a network of friends and/or coworkers, families and interconnected in some way and while this is book two, it’s not necessary to read the first book but I’m telling you now that you should read it or you’ll be missing out. This book is about Lexi and Levi but as with Ruin, the first book, you get to know the secondary characters well. There is also some follow up on Juliette and Knox from the first book. This book does not pick up where Ruin leaves off. The first part goes back in time so we can get Lexi’s and Levi’s past, how they met, and then it picks up where the first one left off.
As with the first book, this one is very well written. The character development is perfect, the story flows effortless, the dialogue is perfect and not confusing. The book is written in third person with alternating POVs that is the best I’ve ever seen. The writing is such that you feel everything and feel like you are in the story. It is captivating, making it impossible to put down. I finished the first one and immediately started this one and read throughout the night until I finished. There is probably more humor in this one just because of Lexi’s personality. We see a little more of the mother from h**l so we get to hate her a little more. I loved the way Lexi stood up to and called her on her crap. I can’t say too much because I never discuss content.
As the first one, this book takes you on an emotional ride so hold tight. Because of the things that happen in this book, there is even more of an angsty, gritty feeling to it. There is also added mystery and suspense which is right up my alley. Lexi and Levi finally get a HFN but there is a “sort of” cliffy in that the ending of this one is the beginning of the next one, Rage, that will be released March 28.
You really need to read this book. If you haven’t read the first one, you need to read it also just because you just don’t want to miss out. I recommend this book, this series, this author and everything she writes.

After reading Resplendent Ruin, the first book in the series, I knew that I was going to adore Lexi and Levi together. Their personalities charmed me and left me waiting impatiently in anticipation to read their story. Levi and Lexi are funny with their quick wit and sexy banter and make you fall in love with them immediately. Bella J outdid herself with this dynamic duo and their antics. They pull you in and won't let you go. Resplendent Rush is sexy, full of humor, and the suspense is not for the faint of heart!
Lexi Mason or “petite”, as Levi likes to call her, is feisty in every sense of the word. Being small does not stop her from having a big personality with quick come backs and she can stand toe to toe with anyone, including Levi and his military ways. She has a big heart, sexiness, and humor that makes Levi fall head over heels right from the beginning. Lexi is an intelligent business woman who can handle herself and will not bow down to anyone. She tells it like it is and when she loves, she does it with her whole heart. I might have a little bit of a girl crush on this vivacious character.
My crush on Lexi does not even compare with how I feel about Levi. He is an honorable, off the charts sexy man who knows how to handle his business both in and out of the bedroom. Being a military man has made him both fierce and loyal combine that with rugged good looks and you have a lethal combination on both Lexi and the reader's heart. He made my heart pitter patter every time he laid those emerald green eyes on Lexi and opened that delicious mouth to show her who was boss and let's not even get started on the rest of his body.
Resplendent Rush had me falling completely in love with the Resplendence series and has my curious piqued for what Bella J will give us next. She gives her readers the perfect combination of steam, humor, and suspense to keep them coming back for more. I highly recommend if you are looking for heart stopping action and intrigue along with passionate characters.

The 2nd novel in the Resplendence series by Bella J. is quite different from the first one but just as good. This story takes us back to see the beginning of the romance between Lexi and Levi; Lexi being the sister of Juliette and Levi being Knox's best friend from the 1st novel. Then we jump forward to see how their relationship progresses after the end of the novel between Juliette and Knox.
Lexi is very anti relationship because of watching her mother manipulate her father, her sister and try to manipulate her but Lexi will have none of it. Because of that, Lexi has grown up believing love and marriage makes people weak and vulnerable to being hurt by those they care about. This causes her to want nothing to do with long-term relationships. Until she meets Levi that is. Levi is all sexy alpha male and impossible to say no to. He is just the right amount of pushy without being creepy. That pushy that makes your insides go to jelly. Levi has hidden the fact that he has a brother from Lexi though and hidden him for good reason. He is a very bad person. His appearance puts a tremendous strain on their relationship and brings Lexi's fears to the forefront.
This novel has quite a mixture of steamy hot sex, suspense, bad guys, and surprises. There is a cliff hanger at the end of this novel though so be prepared to desperately want book 3. I hope Bella writes fast! I can't wait to read the conclusion to this series. If the next hot guy who I suspect is Levi's brother is as sexy and irresistible as Levi and Knox, this will be an incredible conclusion that you won't want to miss.

Bella J could not have chosen a better fitting title for this novel because...what a RUSH!
Lexi is Juliette's (heroine of Resplendent Ruin) sister, and she is a real spitfire with attitude and confidence like no other. And when she meets Levi, one smoldering hot marine, it's fireworks all around.
They are hot, they are heavy and they are just fantastic together. This book is completely different from the first novel in the series, but just as good... maybe even better!
The sexy banter between Lexi and Levi is hilarious, and the sexual chemistry between them just jumps off the pages. It's romantic, fast paced, sexy and funny, and there is never a dull moment between these two. And the ending?? I didn't see that one coming at all.
Now I can't wait for the third novel of the series. I'm hooked!

I loved Bella J's debut novel, Resplendent Ruin, so I eagerly began what is an even better second book, Resplendent Rush. I love her characters, they are so entertaining with great banter and full of passion.

Resplendent Rush, book 2 in the Resplendence series, was a well-written, deliciously hot story that had me cracking up and left me wanting more. This story focuses on Lexi, Juliette's vivacious and colorful sister, and Levi, the ultra sexy Marine who becomes captivated by her. Levi and Lexi are two people who are in no way looking for love. When they crash (literally) into each other one night at a party, they begin an unexpected journey that neither of them saw coming.
I loved Lexi's character from book 1 of the series, and I couldn't wait to read her story. She had such an outgoing and likeable personality and I loved how carefree and independent she was. Her loyalty to her sister Juliette and her refusal to conform to her family's expectations made me fall in love with her instantly. In this book, the author goes back to when Lexi and Levi first meet, and I love that she went back in time rather than have the reader try to fill in the pieces. The best part of any love story for me is the initial meeting and the build up of tension between the characters, and I appreciated that she gave that to her readers. And the beginning of their relationship was filled to the brim with sexual tension. The attraction between them was instantaneous, and I loved that neither of them made it easy for the other.
The author does an incredibly good job writing her characters. Levi and Lexi's interactions were so great to read, and I found myself looking forward to each one as their story went on. Even after being together for a while, their chemistry was insanely hot, and their banter was so entertaining. These were two extremely passionate people, and that came out in everything that they did. There were so many laugh out loud moments, and even their fighting had me cracking up. The couple was hit with some unexpected things during the course of the story, namely, Levi's troubled brother Jax, and it created some pretty big obstacles for them. They were forced to deal with issues in their relationship, as well as from outside forces. Even through their struggles it was evident that their connection was solid and their love for each other was unwavering. I adored Levi and the way he was with Lexi: protective, possessive, and so dedicated. Lexi was his in every sense of the word. He was an alpha male through and through, and Lexi made sure to challenge him at every turn, which made for some seriously entertaining scenes.
The suspense level grew pretty strong towards the end of this book, as the author set the stage for Jax's story. As with the author's other stories, she threw in some incredible twists that I did not see coming. Resplendent Rush is the second book in the Resplendent Series from Bella J. It can be read as a standalone but the entire series revolves around a group of friends and each book is about a different couple. Book one Resplendent Ruin is amazing but gives you a glimpse of the other couples too.
Lexi is a fiercely independent, hard working, party hard, take no crap kind of girl. She however has no interest in falling in love or letting anyone hold the power love wields to destroy her happen. One night out partying and a chance meeting with one of the hottest men she's ever seen, sparks fly and he soon becomes her addiction.
Levi is a Marine. A smoldering hot, self confident, charming, Marine. With his job and what it entails he has no interest in falling in love until he meets Lexi. Determined to break down her walls and have every piece of her heart he's not giving up. But, when his brother with shady business dealings shows up everything could change in the blink of an eye. His brother brings with him certain danger and Levi will do anything in the world to protect Lexi.
I loved this book from the very first page. I loved that it starts in the past of how Lexi and Levi met and leads up to the current time in their lives. These two characters have such amazing chemistry. You couldn't cut the sexual tension with a knife if you wanted to. I loved watching them fall in love but I could tell Lexi was holding a tiny piece of heart back from Levi but he's one determined man. Their story is one of determination passion and danger. It will have you holding your breath, trying to figure out who to trust and hanging on the edge of your seat.
Full of passion, desire and danger Resplendent Rush is a must read. Bella J is an amazing author and her books are ones I'm so glad I've been introduced to.
Resplendent Rush is the second book in the Resplendent Series from Bella J. It can be read as a standalone but the entire series revolves around a group of friends and each book is about a different couple. Book one Resplendent Ruin is amazing but gives you a glimpse of the other couples too.
Lexi is a fiercely independent, hard working, party hard, take no crap kind of girl. She however has no interest in falling in love or letting anyone hold the power love wields to destroy her happen. One night out partying and a chance meeting with one of the hottest men she's ever seen, sparks fly and he soon becomes her addiction.
Levi is a Marine. A smoldering hot, self confident, charming, Marine. With his job and what it entails he has no interest in falling in love until he meets Lexi. Determined to break down her walls and have every piece of her heart he's not giving up. But, when his brother with shady business dealings shows up everything could change in the blink of an eye. His brother brings with him certain danger and Levi will do anything in the world to protect Lexi.
I loved this book from the very first page. I loved that it starts in the past of how Lexi and Levi met and leads up to the current time in their lives. These two characters have such amazing chemistry. You couldn't cut the sexual tension with a knife if you wanted to. I loved watching them fall in love but I could tell Lexi was holding a tiny piece of heart back from Levi but he's one determined man. Their story is one of determination passion and danger. It will have you holding your breath, trying to figure out who to trust and hanging on the edge of your seat.
Full of passion, desire and danger Resplendent Rush is a must read. Bella J is an amazing author and her books are ones I'm so glad I've been introduced to.

The story starts with a 4of of July party where Lexi and her bestie Kim are at. And tequilla shots will cause one of them to be shocked senseless, lol by none other than Mr. Emerald Eyes himself, Levi, swoon.
Lexi specializes in interior design and her top client is Reed, (whom I didn't like) Reed is not who he seems to be and has his own plans for Lexi. grr you have no idea how rotten this guy is.
Jax has the hots for Lexi, he likes her spunk. He gets irritated tho when she tries to get him and his younger brother on talking terms. Jax is in real danger this time and more than his life is on the line. There is girls in danger from Jax's boss, he wants to human traffic them. Now it really heats up cause things never go as planned.
Here is a gist of what happens, Juliet will go into labor early, Levi will ask Lexi to marry him but dammit she refuses to, at least for now, hehe. Levi will leave to keep Lexi safe, and Kim and Jax get things heated up. And a masquerade theme party for a new nightclub may just hold more surprises then they all bargained for.
Recommend for Mature Readers who like spice.

I was up until 5am finishing this book because I could not put it down!!! The story of Levi and Lexi is funny and sexy and wild and heart-breaking and I'm not ashamed to admit I even shed a few tears while reading this AMAZING book. My favorite part of the book is a little bit long but bear with me, it's worth reading every word and I dare you not to fall in love with Levi after reading this!! Levi says this to Lexi when they are about to be intimate. "Every morning I wake up and see your beautiful face next to me, I thank God that you are mine. Every night when I smell your sweet scent and hear your rhythmic breathing beside me, I pray that I will never have to know life without you. I never needed anyone as much as I need you.You are my religion Lexi, and without you I will be nothing but a man without purpose." How would you like some hot guy to say that to you?!! I cannot recommend this book enough!! It will drive you crazy and give you a false sense of security, and then BAM a punch in the gut!!! I can't wait to devour book 3-Resplendent Rage!!! So do yourself a favor and settle in for a wild ride you will love!!!

4.5 Stars WOW WOW WOW
I loved this book and this story. I thought I knew where this was going but nope the author took me on another ride instead. I love Lexi and Levi, as far as I am concerned we all need a Lexi in our lives she is so full of life it is fabulous.
I like how I got to know how Lexi and Levi met and how their relationship progresses. I got some updated info on Knox and Juliette and of course Levi's estranged brother Jax come on???
I love how Bella once again makes a man a hero Levi my god he loves hard and strong and steady that is what got me even though Lexi wasn't ready he pushed and that is what true romance is.
Bella added a suspense factor to this book and I loved it. I read this one in one sitting and I can hardly wait for the 3rd in this amazing series!!! Thank you Bella J for a stellar read.

I enjoyed that the writer incorporated the main characters, Juliet and Knox from book 1, into book 2. Not only do we get to take Lexi and Lexi's journey, we got to see what happens with her sister Juliet.
Lexi is petite, feisty and independent. Levi is a funny, sexy, hot as hell marine. When the two cross paths, their chemistry is hot and explosive. The only problem, Lexi refuses to let herself become vulnerable to love.
Again, the writer creates a wonderful cast of characters that all perfectly play their roll in this wonderful plot.
The writer does an excellent job laying the ground work for book 3 at the end of this book.
I can hardly wait to read book 3!

Levi and Lexi’s story continues in book two. It picks up where book one left off but it also fills you in on how Levi and Lexi originally met. This book is the one that fully grabbed my interest in this series. I loved it all; the plot, the twists, the characters, the humor, everything. The writing style is great, descriptive but not to the point of getting bored and skipping through the book. I hung on every word and at the end I couldn’t get ahold of book 3 fast enough with the huge dark plot twist that happens. I loved this book and this series and recommend reading it.

WOW...Very SEXY Intense Read...Indeed...I will definitely have to say...I had my hands full with these two wild characters...I will definitely have to introduce them...Well first we have Lexi who is a fiercely independent woman...Then we meet the Insanely HOT Levi...When Levi finds out that Lexi is holding back...and keeping her heart guarded...there's definitely no holding back for Levi and he definitely will help her see behind the emotional turmoil...Definitely 5 HOT INSANELY INTENSE STARS for me!

Loved the book. Lexi and Levi were my favourite characters from the Resplendent series and loved reading their story. Levi has replaced Knox as my favourite character from this series. One night with Lexi and Lexi was a goner. Cant blame her. Levi was extremely confident and sexy in his pursuit of Lexi. Lots of drama ensues for this couple when Levi's brother comes back to town. Well worth a read. Can't wait to read Book 3.
