I learned a lot about exercise and how to achieve my dreams. I liked the format: lots of short interviews. I really enjoyed the different perspectives on exercise. I also found it interesting as a people study. Everyone has the same opportunity to contribute to this amazing book but a lot were "lazy" and barely answered where as others really put a lot of great content. I recommend this book to get a broad perspective on fitness and achieving goals.

Instructional. Inspirational. Entertaining.

Ryan Nemeth has essentially penned a beginner's guide to fitness that doubles as an inspirational pep talk to follow whatever dream it is that you have.

And he does it in the most non-douchey way ever. Which is pretty refreshing.

Ryan and his friends may have similar dreams or fitness goals, but they go about achieving them in very different ways which shows you that there's never just one way to get where you want to be.

It's a fun read that entertains and instructs simultaneously and hopefully leads to a follow-up. HARDERBODY. Or HARDBODY 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO. But seriously, I very much enjoyed the message which is pretty much "Don't be afraid to go after whatever it is that makes you happy" and his tone which comes across as a good buddy who's got your back. Thumbs up, Briggles.
