I'm not a big fan of anthologies because I run the risk of reading something I won't like, and it's almost always guaranteed. However, this anthology caught my eye because all the stories were set in prison. I've come to love prison stories because the characters are edgy with a deep yearning for more but can't have what they so desire. It's almost heartbreaking as well as beautiful when two women in prison lean on one another for moral support, friendship, love and yes, sex. The sex in these stories were mostly quick and rough, which I don't mind, personally. Some of them were more tender, and some were flashbacks to a time when life wasn't seen through steel bars. Admittedly, I fell for the butch characters because they took control of the scene while their "babygirl" or "girl" followed along with their big doe-eyes. I can't lie, I love when a butch makes a femme feel protected and precious.

Hook, line, and sinker for this lesfic lover.
