A Billionaire Vampire Romance
Amazing Read!
Having youthful good looks, a billion dollar fortune and the ability to charm any woman on the planet certainly makes existence a lot more fun for vampire bachelor Damian Ward.
Knowing it is impossible to ever have a normal relationship, Damian has resigned himself to a life of parties, women and casual sex.
And he is loving every minute of it.
However, everything changes when a routine one night stand with a beautiful young woman called Leah results in her becoming pregnant.
It should be biologically impossible for Damian to ever impregnate a human and he knows that if it was to ever happen then such an event could only mean one thing.
The beginning of the end...

The title drew my attention, the blurb was good and the reviews were really good so I settled down to read. Now since the blurb is good it seems a bit pointless for me to do my usual summary so I'll just give my opinion. The story had potential but.... The characters were dull and even the vampires weren't interesting and it's very descriptive, overly so to the extend where it clogs and slows the story, at times it feels like description for descriptions sake and the story is lost under it.
'A pair of tight white boxers clung to the sculpted protuberance of his gluteus maximus,...'
It also needs editing since there's lots of little discrepancies. Also I pictured Damian as tall, as romantic heroes usually are, Leah is tall 'She was tall, probably eye-level with him if he were standing,...' But then .... 'she held her mouth as two tall, regal women came out......They were nearly a foot taller than her' So is Damian quite short then?
There's so much going on in this story. Damien has lived a long time but is emotionally numb but still kind which is a rare combination. When he meets Leah he thinks it's going to be the same old one night stand. Of course Leah is special. She has a wildness not commonly found. I loved reading about their adventures.
I enjoyed this new take on vampires and their history. He is enjoying encounters with willing women until one becomes pregnant. It is not supposed to happen and could mean something very scary is on the horizon. I like when I am surprised by the direction of the story.
This has such potential. The concept was great but everything was confusing. I had no clue what I was reading half the time. And Leah and Damian had no spark or chemistry which made it really hard to read. I would not recommend this one
This was a okay read , first time reading something from this Author. I would have liked to know what happen to Victor and his sister, did everyone in the Order died. So many unanswered questions for me .
Two worlds collide in this book. A mating to which each world had to co-exist with the other. A love bound that others felt had dire consequences. A belief into the unknown but yet not unknown to the elders. Fight to hold to the love of a lifetime and beyond.
It truly is following along a forbidden love. Damian is unique among the vampire community, and that is not a good thing. He works and plays among the humans, ever under the watchful eye of the vampires. He has sex with females, but is gone in the morning. And he does it again when he rescues Leah from the side of the road. She is native american with secrets of her own, and she accepts the one night stand until she finds out the impossible has happened. And it is impossible, or is it? She finds Damian and their lives will never be the same again even if they can survive the vampires who put a hit out on them. Good book with a lot of twists and turns and a forbidden true love with a HEA
This is the most refreshing vampire romance book I've read. Both of the main characters we're layered and interesting. Damian and Leah's back stories were so well thought-out. The author was exceedingly creative and clever in intertwining both vampire & native america folklore. I'd be interested to read a continuation of Leah and Damian's story now that they have Aurora as the first hybrid child. What her powers would be, if Clara became her protector. If the remaining Order rebuilt itself. Would Victor, Alicia, Jake, and Baraval play a part of this new beginning with the couple.....oh the possibilities!!!
Delayed gratification - great plot action and suspense, just not right away. I almost put the book down after a few pages thinking it was one of those books that was just an excuse to write about sex but so glad I didn't! Yes there is a lot of graphic sex so written for mature audiences only but the true value lies after the twist- after the infertile vampire gets a human pregnant and the whole vampire community is upended. Lots of great action and suspense with some Angelina Jolie/Salt influences. Really hoping for a book 2 that will fast forward 20 years and tell more of the story.
The storyline was good, and the language was very intellectual, more so than most romance novels. Unfortunately I never felt the connection between Damian & Leah. All of a sudden they were just in love. I would have liked more focus on how they got that way, even if it was love at first sight...their “scenes” together were very descriptive, but because I never felt their connection it could have merely been to strangers hooking up in a bar.
When I started reading this book, I had high expectations. The blurb had pulled me in but for me the story lacked umph. I felt as if there were too many questions still left unanswered. If you like Twilight then you might like this because I felt it was similar but lacked that extra special connections to become more.
Interesting I thought this was a series, But it’s a standalone but I did enjoy this book although the middle of this they skip she skipped into someone else’s story for chapter which was weird. That’s why I could only write it three stars
This was so unusual and so very entertaining. I just loved it. I have had it on my kindle for months and just realized I never reviewed it. I recommend it if you like vampire stories. It gives a different point of view. Very good.
I liked the book. It would have been better if the wording was simpler. A lot of mistakes authors can make when Writing fiction is an extended vocabulary. It wasn't that I did not understand the words it's just that they don't flow as easily. So it was tiresome at times and the conversation felt stilted. I would have also given it 4 stars if it wasn't so descriptive. There were a lot of pages that describe a lot of back ground information that I felt wasn't pertinent. But overall it was good. The author created a compelling story that wasn't overused. I felt it was original and unique. The vampires were not inhuman enough not to kill. That was a nice touch. Too long to be a light read but I would recommend it.
Good unique, intriguing story in spite of the superficial tag line.
Incredibly suspenseful story between two races, forbidden love based on old worn out fears of prophesies that should've been disregarded years ago by the vampire race. Aristocracy meets a strong Navajo woman intent on her cause and the lives of those she loves. (I have Kindle Unlimited which I love but the titling dept. needs work as this story has so little to do with the billionaire? And I guess that's a popular theme with the current romance genre/economy but as Damion alludes to in a passage, "Fate may whisper to you, but ultimately you decide".
I loved this story! The only problem I had was the sex scene verbiage. Strange terms like "glistening gash" mixed with scientific labels like "labia" and "vulva" don't work for me. When describing a sex scene there is nothing wrong with using p*ssy or c*ck. I prefer those terms. But, this is my personal opinion only. The story itself was awesome and worth more than five stars. Great job, Ms. Snow!
Samantha Snow has delivered a amazing story with characters that will keep you glued to the pages. Suspense, drama, dangerous situations, sweet moments, surprises and steamy scenes all rolled into the story. Hope there will be more expansion of this storyline for it's ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL READING! I'm SO RECOMMENDING THAT YOU PICK UP!!
The plot was wonderful. I liked how Samantha took on a different concept to vampire mythology and incorporated it into Navajo mythology as well. The only thing that truly kept throwing me for a loop was her constant use of medical terminology too describe certain things.
I am giving this story 4 stars because I enjoyed the outlook of this world BUT I was confused in areas when I was not sure who's POV I was reading in many areas, even in the middle of a paragraph. I did enjoy the plot so I wanted to finish this story and see the outcome, which was cool.
What an outstanding and well throughout story. This is a book you don't want to miss out on reading. Ms Snow has really come through with this storyline. Good from start to finish. Highly recommend.
