Sergeant Samantha O'Hara had no idea that when she was assigned to the 1266th Transportation Company, that she would meet sexy and flirty Chief Warrant Officer Raleigh Fitzgerald. This book was amazing. It had everything you needed to make this an amazing read that I was unable to put down and it had me hooked from the first page. The two characters in this book were captivating to read and I loved everything about them, they had an undeniable connection from the moment they laid eyes on each other, a connection that was sizzling in the forefront for most of this book, that just continued to build until the perfect moment for both of these characters to finally take action. I’ve smiled while reading this book, I’ve laughed, I’ve been frustrated, I’ve been shocked and hot under the collar all while reading this book. This book is full of action, adventure and suspense, passion, an undeniable connection. A hot gorgeous man in uniform that you couldn’t help but swoon over and boy oh boy were the sexy scene’s hot and steamy! A powerful, strong beautiful woman that can stand up for herself and protect herself against things.
You knew from the story line that something was brewing, but you could never guess what it was. There were various twist and turns through this book that you didn’t want to miss so you were on the edge of seat the whole book awaiting the chaos that you knew would erupt.
I normally only like reading dual POV’S, this didn’t have each chapter by a different character, but I really enjoyed how this was written, I could tell whose part of the story I was reading, it flowed and I never lost track of who part was who’s.
Sam is a beautiful, strong, independent woman, that you can help but be drawn to her character. I liked that she was fearless and took chances, but she also knew when her time was to step back with authority. I never would have guess that Sam had been through a traumatic experience, but it shows that she doesn’t let it rule her life and how strong she is. I like how hard she tried to resist the pull that she had to Raleigh, but she also knew that something connected them, something she couldn’t put her finger on. These two make a great team and couple in and out of uniform and I can’t wait to see what else lies ahead for them.
Rayleigh is confident, sexy and a great at what he does. Being sent to another work place in order to figure out the missing items, what he never expects is to instantly meet his soul mate. After having his own issues and traumatic experience I loved seeing him overcome that and really start to believe and want Sam in every way possible. He knows what he wants and he will do everything he can to get her. He connected with Sam on so many levels, not just as work colleagues that had a great connection that was real and something everyone wished for. I loved the little extra spark that flies between these after are stories are told, and this one is so sweet and just shows that these two are meant to be.
This is a brilliant read full of action, adventure, suspense and real characters with an undeniable connection. But after that ending I can’t wait to read what happens with these two characters story and hope this isn’t the last of it, I can’t wait to see what could lay ahead for Rayleigh & Sam.

His commander has sent him to Chicago to investigate missing weapons from the 12266th Transportation Company which has been taken over by Sergeant Samantha O'Hara. When Raleigh lands at the air port and sees Sam, he knows he has to have her. But them being together is against Army regulations. Sam knows Raleigh has a reputation as a ladies man and has heard when he wants something bet gets it. But she refuses to be another notch on his bed post.
Sergeant Sam O'Hara is beautiful, single and extremely driven. She has just moved into her new position in charge of the 12266th Transportation Company. When she realizes there are weapons missing she knows an investigation need to happen. When she picks up the Chief at the air port she knows he has the ability to destroy her if she vets too close.
Both Sam and Raleigh have lived through their own traumatic experiences that have shaped their lives to some extent. As they start to investigate the danger surrounding them grows daily. Sam is attacked and Raleigh refuses to let her out of his sight. As their investigation continues Raleigh realizes there is a name that keeps popping up that is making him sick to his stomach. He cannot believe his best friend is involved with the missing weapons that All his data points to. He needs to make a trip to talk to his commander to find out how deep this goes.
What will happen when it all comes out. Will Raleigh's data be correct and his best friend is involved. Will he and Sam be able to ignore their feelings for each other. Read to find out.

Warranted Pleasures is the first book in the Warranted series by Shannon Nemechek. This is the first book I have read by this author and I really look forward to what comes next in the series. The character descriptions are eye popping and mouth watering. This military/suspense/romance will have you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the last. The twists and turns will have you amazed.
Sergeant Samantha O’Hara is meeting the Chief Warrant Officer the Army is sending to help her investigate the missing supply issue they are having in Chicago. When Raleigh Fitzgerald gets off the plane the sexual tension between the two starts to rise. Samantha just needs to get through the investigation without becoming the next notch on Raleigh’s bed post, beside the Army frowns on fraternization of A Chief Warrant Officer and a non commissioned officer. Their relationship starts out slowly as Sam doesn't need another heartache like her last cheating boyfriend. As they chase suspected terrorist looking for the missing weapons the heat level rises. Will she be able to hold him off, or will he be able to charm her into a roll in the hay?
Raleigh Fitzgerald want to finish this job fast and get back to Alabama. He hates the big cities, but when he meets Samantha at the airport he's thinking he only has five days to convince her that sleeping with him would be a good idea. Will these two break all the rules to become lovers? Will they trust each other enough to start a relationship?
I love the plot twists and turns and the action that had me rooted to my chair the whole book. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.Great summertime read!

This is the first book that I have read by Shannon and it is also my first military book! I loved it! It had action, romance, mystery all put together is one book, and it ended up being a fantastic well written read.
Chief Warrant Officer Raleigh Fitzgerald is sent to Chicago to investigate some weapons that went missing from the 1266th Transportation Company. Raleigh is young, flirtatious, and very single. He is also sexy as sin!
Sergeant Samantha O’Hara recently was assigned to the 1266th T.C. and she has also been sent to greet Raleigh at the airport. Samantha is beautiful and like Raleigh, she is also VERY single and her love life is completely non-existent. I absolutely loved her!
When Raleigh sees her holding a sign with his name on it, he couldn’t help but feel a furious burning desire for her, even though they just met. But even if she the most spectacular creature he has ever seem, she is a noncommissioned officer and that makes her COMPLETELY OFF LIMITS. He still wants her though, and when he wants something he gets it. But will the cost of having her outweigh the benefits? And like most stories there is always some form of a big bad wolf. Secrets are revealed and it seems like no one can be trusted!
The banter between these too is AMAZING! They just go together great! There are some super hot naughty scenes too!
This book kept me on the edge of my seat with the twists and unexpected turns. It flowed really nicely and like I said before I loved her writing style. It was a great read and I will be recommending it to my friends that need a fast paced and sexy read!

Warranted Pleasures Book 1 of A Warranted Series by Shannon Nemechek – 4 stars
The good: An interesting mystery surrounding missing weapons and stolen items
The good: A visually appealing description of New Orleans
The good: I was able to picture the characters and interrogation rooms in my head because I have watched every episode of NCIS and am now an “expert military investigator”
The good: The characters were set up quickly so there was no guessing as to what roll everyone played.
The good: The discovery of familiarity along the way.
The frustrating: There was so much dialog that contained the words baby, babe and darlin’ that I found myself groaning every couple of sentences.
The frustrating: There was a lot of talk and thoughts about sexy times and not a lot of action. They are putting their careers on the line just for some cuddle time.
Overall it was a well plotted book that follows the story line from beginning to end. The good definitely outweighed the frustrating.
Warranted Pleasures is written by Shannon Nemechek who is a veteran of The United States Army. She served from 1987 to 2015 and I am so grateful that she is an example of women in the military. There are a few mentions in this story about the “abuse” that women in the military face with sexual innuendos and inappropriate touching, etc. I would hope that we are getting to be a more equal force and everyone is looked at as human beings instead of by gender, but I know that’s an unrealistic view. Thank you for your continued service Ms. Nemechek.

Warranted Pleasures Is Book 1 of The Warranted Series by Shannon Nemechek.
This is the first book that I have read by this author. I thought the book was okay. I felt the book just ended without warning. I wasn't expecting it to end so quickly.
The book was full of action and of course a back story which you will read about towards the end of the book.
Chief Raleigh Fitzgerald has been sent to Chicago to investigate property loss at one of the division's smaller companies. When he gets off the plane he is greeted by Sergeant Samantha O'Hara. They immediately have chemistry which might complicate things for them during this investigation. Luckily for Raleigh he has many contacts in the military. Him and Sam chase leads all over the place and what they find out is enough to crush Raleigh.
Sam gets injured, and one of Raleighs oldest and closest friends is being accused of some really shady business which is very serious and could end up ending his career in the military if its true.
I felt like the characters had such strong feelings for eachother from the very beginning. And then just to see them after one night was alittle crazy to me.
I liked how the book ended but, I just felt like there was so much left unsaid. Maybe the next book in the series will pick up where this one left off. Im not really sure since this is the first book I've read by this author so I'm not familiar with her writing style.

He then meets Sergeant Samantha O'Hara who is a dream come true. At first it was all we can’t because we will get in trouble. Then it’s who cares lets do this. Then it’s all let’s wait darling it has to be perfect. Reviews are hard to write. You have to judge by what you felt while you reading the book. You have to keep in mind that though it might not be for you it doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good book. One man’s trash is another’s man’s treasure. So with that in mind I liked where the story was heading. There were really good moments and there are shaky moments. The whole “darling” thing was annoying. I did enjoy some parts of the book. And it’s hard to point out the good when you get side tracked by the bad. Though I didn’t feel that the word flow was good. The context was there. I just made it flow in my head. I laughed at many parts and felt bad for Raleigh in others. The author did good on giving the characters background and true emotion. The characters didn’t fit as a couple. Their flow of conversation seemed lacking. I gave this story four stars because it was a good story and I appreciate the authors time and courage for putting themselves out there. For giving my a taste of their world.

Warranted Pleasures is a forbidden military romance Military romances are one of my favourite things to read and this did not disappoint.
Sam is a mere Non Commissioned officer. So when Raleigh, a chief warrant officer, comes to her base they know that even though they have strong feelings for each other, they knew that a relationship would be forbidden.
Raleigh, has had many women and Sam refuses to be one of them. However, when you have a strong attraction to someone you can not hold out for long.
When Sam dreams about him all the time and she loses all control on her ability to think straight.

Samantha and Raleigh are both working together on a investigation, their attraction is instant. The only issue is, the cannot have relationship while in the military. When their investigation deepens about some missing supplies, the risk and danger around increases. Their investigation leads them to a terrorist organization. Emotions get in the way as they learn about people that surround them. As they work together, they learn that they have similar experiences in their past. Both can’t keep their minds off each other and are willing to do whatever it takes to be together. It is worth the risk to jeopardize their careers in the military in order to be together?
This the first book I read by Shannon Nemechek. It is a roller coaster ride fro beginning to end. the characters are relatable and their attraction is palpable throughout the storyline. Plus, who doesn’t like a good mystery thrown in the mix with some steamy love scenes. Every aspect of the investigation is detailed within the story. This is a quick read and can be read in one sitting. This will definitely will not be the last book I read by Shannon Nemechek. I look forward to reading other books written by her.

This was a book that leads you on an amazing journey! Superbly written by author Sharon Nemecheck ,completely new to me as a reader I was instantly captivated from the very beginning.
Chief warrant officer Raleigh Fitzgerald has just been flown to yet another location to try and sort out another mess he didn't make but as a US army officer he took his orders and got to work. Born and raised in Alabama on his families farm life hasn't been the easiest in the army for Raleigh but he's always had his closest friends around him to give him support and have his back when he needed it. He has spend the past few years drowning in women and booze to help him through his nightmares but when he lands in Chicago and meets Sergeant Samantha Ohara she gets his blood pumping and his heart racing, but officers aren't allowed to fraternise with soldiers of lower rank to them and the last thing he needs is to loose his job for a fling.
Sergeant Samantha O'hara loves her job in the army and has recently been brought into take over from recently departed supplies manager but what she finds is lots of missing equipment and a mystery as to where everything has went. The army decide it needs a deeper investigation and sends Chief Warrant officer Raleigh Fitzgerald, Sam knows from the first meeting that this man has the power to bring any woman to her knees, it's pretty clear in the first ten minutes of meeting him that he loves the ladies and flirting is second nature to this guy so she needs every defence she has to keep her heart guarded from any pain. When they start out there very quick to build a friendship and it isn't long before they realise they both want more but Sam fears Raleigh only wants her for the short term and doesn't think it's worth letting him in for him to leave again so tries her best to keep it casual but unbeknown to her Raleigh is harbouring some serious feeling for her but before he declares his hand he needs to know if she feels something even remotely to what is going on inside his heart!
This is one of the few stories I would love to see turned into a movie apart from the great characters and love story there is also the reason the couple are pulled together in the first place. The mystery of all the missing equipment leads them down some dangerous paths together but when they both have each other's back it makes for an easier ride!
An amazing 5 star read and I can't wait to find more fantastic stories from Shannon Nemecheck you are now safely on my one click list!

I really enjoy military romance stories so I was really looking forward to reading Warranted Pleasures. This is also the first book that I have read by this author. Overall I really enjoyed the story I have to be completely honest when I say the second half of the story was better than the first half – but even so I still really enjoyed the first half I just felt the story really came alive at about the 50-60% mark. I thought the writing however was very good throughout the entire book; the descriptive writing in particular was really great. I especially loved the part in New Orleans; I could imagine what I was reading. There were some good twists in the second half of the story that I definitely didn’t see coming. I liked the main characters of Sam and Raleigh; I thought they had a great chemistry. Sam was a great heroine in the story, strong, independent with a good sense of humour. I loved that she could hold her own in a career heavily populated with men. Raleigh was a great alpha male character. I loved some of the things that he did for Sam – very romantic!
Along with the romance side to the story there is a nice suspense storyline that goes along with it. The ending to the story is quite abrupt and I desperately wanted more of Sam and Raleigh - hope we see them again in the future! There were also some great secondary characters who I would like to know more about. I did enjoy this book and will definitely be looking forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Warranted Pleasures (A Warranted Series Book 1) by Shannon Nemechek is the first book in her series A Warranted. This book is a military romance book that has some suspense in it. This is my first book by this author and I enjoy it. Her attention to detail left you sitting on the edge of your seat. Her characters you will fall in love with as they are full of action, suspense and romance. Her writing style will pull you in from the first chapter. This story will take you on a roller coaster ride the you won't want to miss. Find out what happens to these characters as they start a journey of investigation that just might lead them to something shocking.
She is attracted to him from the moment she sees him step off the plane but she knows that it is against regulations. She gets lost every time she looks into his eyes. She can't stop thinking of this Chief Warrant Officer that she has to work with. She won't just be another notch in his belt so she will try hard to keep this relationship professional. She is determined not to let her lusty attraction to jeopardize her job. There is one problem, he is known to get what he wants and right now what he wants is her.
Their relationship has been one of attraction from the first sight of each other. This story gets pretty steamy from the start and continues to heat up with them throughout the book. They both have a past but how will it effect them today? They both have demons that they are fighting, will they confide in each other? They are both great characters, he is take control and get it done. She is sassy and knows what she wants and how to get it. They will take you on a few twists and turns that leave you wanting more. The secondary characters are just as great and some of them will surprise you and even the main characters. Find out what happens to these characters as they continue their investigation. Will they take their relationship to the next level? What will the future have in store for these two?

He's not exactly thrilled about it but goes to do the job he was sent to do.After arriving at the airport he's greeted by Supply Sergeant Samantha O Hara. The attraction is between them is instant,but unfortunately it's frowned upon in the military for there to be fraternization between the ranks . Raleigh is having a hard time because he knows without a doubt Samantha is the "one".She is on his mind constantly and he's on her mind as well.
The missing supplies is quite the mystery and the more they dig the more information they get things are starting to come together, minus a few detsils.They can't figure out why anyone would do this.
Although they are both into the investigation there feelings towards each other continue to grow. Fitz is such a kind,caring,respectful man. Sam is a caring,hard working women,she is determined to figure out the mystery of the missing supplies,with Raleigh help.

Both have a mission but the undeniable attraction between them can't be helped.

Warranted Pleasures is the first book in the Warranted Series book. I enjoyed the story, but felt like it ended abruptly and that were some incomplete portions of the story and I really feel that Raleigh could have been more Alpha than he was, but maybe that is just my preference especially with a Special Forces military man. I liked it the story and will be keeping my eye out of the second book in this series.

A 4 star read for Warranted Pleasures, A Warranted Series Book 1, by Shannon Nemechek. This is a new author to me. I was excited to read this book because you can never go wrong with a sexy military man.
Chief Warrant Officer Raleigh Fitzgerald is sexy, loves to flirt and most definitely single. He is sent to Chicago to investigate missing military supplies. When he lands at the airport, he is met by Sergeant Samantha O’Hara. He is immediately attracted to her but he is only supposed to be in the city for five days. He has to have her and he will do anything to make that happen.
Sergeant Samantha O’Hara, is a young, beautiful woman who was just assigned to the 1266th Transportation Company in Chicago. She knows something is wrong when weapons are missing. There will be an investigation and she is expecting a visitor. When she goes to the airport to pick up the person that will be leading the investigation, she knows that she is in so much trouble the first time she sees him. She doesn't want to do anything to jeopardize her job but she knows that being with Raleigh is inevitable.
The attraction between Samantha and Raleigh is immediate and so strong. The chemistry between these two was amazing. I did have a slight issue staying focused in the beginning but once I buckled down and focused, I couldn't put this book down. It was hot and sexy. Determined to keep their relationship professional. Raleigh has other plans. He must have Samantha but at what cost. Will their Military careers keep them apart? I grabbed this book for a couple of reasons. One was the author was attending a book event I was going to be attending. The other was that it was a military book ad I tend to enjoy reading them. I will say this book did throw a lot of military jargon at me so at times I was reading and figuring out what the heck was said through conversation. So be ready when reading to wonder briefly what is happening LOL.
OK Samantha and Raleigh are two military personnel thrown together to try and figure out where some lost supplies are. Simple enough, right? WELL not so simple when she is off limits to him and him to her. They two are fighting their attraction all log because it’s not allowed.
The two are searching for lost supplies that we learn are actually guns…no Bueno right!! The couple are spending a lot of time together and are really fighting the attraction to one another. When Raleigh discovers a close friend is involved, well things get kinda crazy. The mystery takes them all over and then they end up in a very romantic place. Can they fight this for much longer?????
I enjoyed the book but at times felt like there was a little too much description happening…like there was too much “explaining” things to me. I did enjoy the book and look forward to reading another by the author in the future.

Warranted Pleasures is book one in the Warranted series by Shannon R. Nemechek. It’s the first I have read by this author. I liked how it had a bunch of action and there was a puzzle they were trying to figure out together, as they were falling in love.
Samantha and Raleigh shouldn’t technically be dating, because of their different positions in the military. But they are attracted to each other immediately. They are brought together during an investigation into missing weapons that turns into so much more. Raleigh is what Sam would call a mix between a southern gentleman and a rascal, but he is ready to settle down and determined to win her heart, which doesn’t seem too difficult to do. This is a slow burn. There’s some fooling around, but they wanted to wait until things were perfect to go all the way. And every time they made plans, something got in the way! A couple sticking points with me were that the ending seemed a little abrupt and sometimes I felt the writing was a little formal for my tastes. However the storyline was interesting, with well-rounded characters and a strong heroine. These two both have traumatic moments in their pasts, both in their jobs and in their love lives, and deserve the happiness they can find in each other. It had bits of humor sprinkled throughout. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.

Warranted Pleasures was a wham bam, thank you ma'am kind of book. It was fast paced and just kept on going. Shannon Nemecheck put together a great book.
Chief Warrant Officer Raleigh Fitzgerald is sent to Chicago to help that army company figure out their supplies issue. You see... millions of dollars worth of serious supplies are going missing. He hopes it'll be a quick trip so he can get back to Alabama. He despises the city life. One look at the new Supply Sergeant Samantha O'Hara kind of changes his mind. If he has to work every day along side her he might stay a few more extra days even though fraternizing is against the rules.
Sam tries hard to ignore the sexual tension between her and Raleigh. Its forbidden. She likes her job and doesn't want to do anything that might jeopardize it. It doesn't take very long for them to decide that rules are meant to be broken.
As they investigate deeper uncovering all the people possibly involved in supplies theft weird things start happening. Sam is injured. Best friend bonds are tested. And sparks fly between Sam and Raleigh.
Seriously Shannon... you did good. I didn't know what was going to happen next. WHO else would be involved. How many other army stations were effected. And seriously it was either sent to ISIS or sold over seas to other sectors. That's just mind boggling. Again, Good Job!

The story Warranted Pleasures (A Warranted Series Book 1) by Shannon Nemechek is a military/suspense/romance book. They are both working on an investigation together. From the minute they see each other the sparks begin to fly. Both can’t keep their minds off of each other. Their relationship is against regulations. With their attraction only growing each day they are together how far will these two be willing to go? Would they risk their careers to be with each other? As their investigation deepens the danger around them grows. What they find leads them to investigate a terrorist organization. Will their deepening attraction to each other jeopardize this investigation?
This is the story of Samantha O’Hara and Raleigh Fitzgerald. It is amazing just how fast these two find their attraction to each other. From the time they meet the bantering back and forth between them takes off. That they want each other is undeniable. It is also interesting to learn about Sam and Raleigh’s past. Both have had a traumatic experience that changed their lives. They work well together on their current investigation. Raleigh is a bit over-protective of Sam and when he is able to, convinces her to let him take the risks. Sam, however, holds her own. She is a smart, sassy woman that knows what she wants. Raleigh is going through a full range of emotions as he is finding out revelations about the people around him. What does the future have in store for Sam and Raleigh? Will they find their HEA? What will the outcome of their investigation be?
This is the first book that I have read by the author and “wow!” she has written a story that has plenty of mystery and very steamy romance. It takes you on a rollercoaster ride from the very beginning. I like the methodical way that the investigation goes forward. There are other characters that you are introduced to in this book and as it is book one in a series I would love to learn more about them in future stories. This is a wonderful book to get lost in for the afternoon. This story does have adult situations and plenty of steamy romance. It would be for those 18 years of age or older.

Samantha O’Hara was recently assigned to the 1266th Transportation Company, based in Chicago, as the supply Sergeant. When supplies are discovered to be missing, it prompts an investigation that will lead to a cross-country adventure with an incredibly sexy Officer- that will test Samantha on so many levels.
Raleigh Fitzgerald is the Chief Warrant Officer who is tasked with the investigation into the missing supplies. He arrives and lays eyes on Samantha for the first time- he is stunned by his attraction to her. Even knowing that there are regulations against their fraternizing, he really doesn’t care- he has to have her. Now he just has to convince her.
What he thinks will be a simple review that won’t take up too much of his time, turns into a much bigger and more dangerous turn of events than he could have imagined. We get to ride along on this adventure, where no one can be trusted and somebody seems to be going to great lengths to thwart the investigation. So, strap yourself in for an exciting ride!
This is a fast paced story full of excitement, twists and turns and a lot of suspense- that kept me devouring the pages to discover what was happening.
The characters are fantastic and they had some seriously sizzling chemistry.
This is a quick, easy read that will keep you hooked right from the beginning.
A great way to start a series and now I can’t wait to read the next book!

Shannon Nemechek is writing a military romance in this book. A Cheif Warrant officer and a Non-Commissioned officer meet during an investigation and yes it is supposed to be against military rules for them to have a relationship, but is that going to stop Raleigh from pursuing Samantha?
This was not my first military romance, I love wounded warrior romances and all romances that have to do with the military and the heros of this world finding their loves. The sexual tension between Raleigh and Samantha is very high as they try to keep each other at arms length distance. Raleigh wants Samantha, yet Samantha doesn't just want to be another notch in his bed post.
Full of mystery and intrigue. The details and the militay talk throughout the book let you know that either Shannon Nemechek has been around military or she has thoroughly researched this. Either way it was very well done.
This book has it all. Mystery, romance, steamy sex, and a happily ever after. This is the first book in the series, Warranted, and I hope to read the others as soon as they come out.

Warranted pleasures by Shannon nemechek is an erotic romance between two army personnel who should definitely not be fraternising. Sam is a hard working supply officer and Raleigh is an equally hardworking warrant officer, but together they are one lean, mean machine. Army supplies have been going missing but nothing is missing from the books, this is a huge problem as it means someone on the inside is behind it. But when Raleigh and Sam first lay eyes on each other it becomes harder and harder to keep their minds on the job and not on each other.
I gave this book three stars for a few reasons, number one is that this is a pretty good first novel, but as a first novel there are a few areas for improvement. Second is that I don’t think anyone says ‘ya’ quite that much, or ‘baby’ as both main characters were using the same type of language it made it difficult at times to immediately distinguish who was talking. Three is that there were a few times when more erotic action should have happened but didn’t because the characters actions were too noble (for lack of a better term), for all the dirty thinking they were doing not much actual romantic action was happening. The book started out well but lost a bit of sizzle in the middle. All in all a good first book, I will be making sure to keep an eye on Shannon nemechek and her future stories.

They both immediately realize they have an attraction to each other. The problem is that the military frowns upon fraternization between the ranks. As time moves on Raleigh is wondering if they could be discreet because he can not stop thinking about her.
The other side of this story is the missing supplies. This becomes a mystery as a who did it and why. I really like this portion of the book more than the attraction. I felt this moved forward at a more normal pace and the attraction was pretty much all over the place. From in your face hot to cold to freezing to warm. A slow build up meshed in along with the mystery part would have synchronized the whole story better. I didn't really understand why she needed or was allowed to fly all over with him. It wasn't their case it was his and I would be surprised if the military would see a need to let her go along.
Raleigh is a southern gentleman to the core. At first he seems to come off as a ladies man but it's just his southern charm. I really liked the Military part of Raleigh. He seemed in command and had a nice group of friends.

As the two start unwrapping clues they become closer and find that they can't fight their feelings for each other, yet do their best to keep it under the radar. Their investigation turns into much more than bargained for when it turns out it is terrorist related and is much more dangerous than they expected. Will their new relationship be doomed before they even have a chance at happiness?

Warranted Pleasures by Shannon Nemechek is the first book in the Warranted Series and it was AMAZING! This was the first book I have read from the author and I can guarantee it won't be my last. This is a military romance novel that will take you on an amazing journey between these two people. There's suspense, there's love, and there are definitely some bumps along the way, but don't let that fool you, this book is amazing! An amazing 5 stars!
There's an instant attraction between the two of them, every time she looks at him, she can't help but lose herself in them. But she knows it's against the rules, it's against everything she knows. But now she can't seem to forget him, she can't keep her thoughts about him professional. She doesn't want to be another notch in the bedpost, and she refuses to lose everything she's worked so hard to have. But there's an issue, he always gets what he wants. Always. So will he get what he wants this time? Or will she prove to everyone and herself, that she is strong enough to fight this attraction?
