Reuben Nelms worked his entire life to pull away from a family legacy of horror and pain. Returning to his West Texas hometown for the first time in more than a decade, he still finds himself confronted by and fighting ghosts from his past. Treading alongside the remembered fear and regret surrounding him walks a temptation, Brenda Calloway, the woman he left behind.

Will their second chance love take root and grow in the dry deserts of West Texas? What does this mean for his brothers in the Rebel Wayfarers MC? Can Duck put aside the man he’s become, sloughing off the brotherhood and leaving that behind to become Reuben again, or can he pick up the pieces of his teenage love and still continue his life in Chicago as a member of the Rebel Wayfarers MC?

Full
Reuben Nelms has worked hard all his life. First to escape the West Texas town where he grew up, then to negate the legacy of his family. One of his worst regrets was failing to protect a young woman from evil dealt by his blood brother. For years afterwards, he watched and protected her from the shadows, most comfortable in that faceless role.

Now known by his road name, Duck feels he’s finally found redemption in watching that woman blossom and grow, sheltered by her association with his brothers by choice, the Rebel Wayfarers motorcycle club. Things were settled, predictable, until a desperate call from home sets him scrambling and he is back front and center, home again in West Texas, finding himself confronted daily with reminders of his horrific family heritage.

Treading alongside the remembered fear and regret surrounding him walks a temptation, Brenda Calloway, the hometown woman he left behind. The efficient business manager of the cattle company he inherited from his father, his childhood friend is now a widow. More beautiful than ever, she’s a single parent with a secret, unaware of the power she still wields over Reuben’s heart.

Will their second chance love be able to take root and grow in the dry deserts of West Texas? Can Duck put aside the man he’s become, sloughing off the brotherhood and leaving that behind to become Reuben again, or will he be able to pick up the pieces of his teenage love and still continue his life in Chicago as a member of the Rebel Wayfarers MC?

I can't ever get enough of the Rebel Wayfarer men. They're such a perfect mix of simple and complicated, gruff yet tender, strong but vulnerable. Duck was no exception to this and finally getting to know him on such a deep level has been a pleasure.

We meet Duck early on in the series but we only get small glimpses of him. He was one of those guys that hung around the background but was always there when he was needed. We know of his ties to Mica, so we know he has lived his life with much regret and remorse for the family he grew up in. His brother was a true monster and they were both raised by an even bigger evil...their father. By some miracle, Duck aka Reuben, grew to be a kindhearted and loving individual. He hated that his family was known for being the cruel and evil men they were, but he managed to hold his head as high as he could and remained determined to be better and do better and atone for their wrong doings.

Meeting Mason and joining the Rebel Wayfarers was his true path. I've said it before and I'll never be able to say it enough, but Mason is such an amazing leader and a real mentor. He helps Duck see the good guy he is and shows helps him understand he's not responsible for what his father and brother did. Mason allows for Duck to do what is necessary when it came to helping Mica and sometime later when he needs to go back home to his roots, Mason gives him the space to do that. So when he reconnects with Brenda, his long time crush/love, to help on the ranch he owns, he's able to focus on the here and now; which allows him to come to terms with the demons that have plagued him for years. To prove to his hometown that he's not like them. And to show Brenda the love he's had for her all these years and the man he can be for her.

The Rebel Wayfarers MC is such an inspiring motorcycle club and so different from the standard we see loaded up on Kindles everywhere. I've read my fair share of biker romances, from bestsellers to indies and I love them, but the Rebel Wayfarers men will always hold a piece in my heart that those others cannot. I was emotionally invested in them from the moment I read book 1 in this series and my passion and love for each character only continues to grows as I get to know even more about these amazing men and see them find their soulmates.

Don't get me wrong. It's not all sunlight and roses with this series. The women go through hell. The men fight hard and don't take crap and there is an on going story line connecting this series that I can see leading to an epic conclusion (later on, down the road--much much later) - but no matter what.... these women get up and come out as survivors. They're stronger women there supporting their badass bikrs. The men not only fight hard, but they love harder and no matter what foes the Rebels face, I know they will end up on top. They are strong bikers, stronger men and "Rebels forever, forever Rebels" will FOREVER branded on my heart.

I can't wait for the next book. *pulls hair, bites nails, flips calendar, taps fingers and... waits patiently.*

I have been staring at this screen and contemplating my review for days. Not because I don't know what to write, but more because I have so much to say about this book. Duck, along with all of the other books in Rebel Wayfarers MC Series give me an overwhelming sense of belonging. Like walking into your favorite neighborhood pub and seeing the friendly faces of the regulars. No matter what, those regulars will be there to welcome you back. You can trust these books and they're amazing creator to be your "Norm".

And now here we are: Duck. Reuben Nelms. Protector cloaked in guilt. Brother-in-arms. Solid to his core. Tortured by past regrets. He fled his home to shadow a woman that he couldnt protect from the evil that flowed through the family he was born into. He wasnt able to save her, but he will go to the end of the world to make sure she's never unsafe again. Those travels have taken him away from his hometown and family cattle ranch for a decade.

Duck's life of - somewhat - normalcy is set into a tailspin when he finally answers the call from his manager. A woman who has haunted his very soul since the day he left her behind. Brenda, his Bee. Newly widowed, Bee has lived a life that has been about existing. Existing without Duck. Existing with a secret that could change everything. Now she needs Duck back in West Texas.

Now that Duck is back where it all began and has a second chance at the love of a lifetime, and the dream that he's always wanted; will they be able to survive the twists and turns that come with the journey? Duck and Bee have to see if time and circumstances have built walls that cannot be taken down...What will this mean for the other life he lives? His brotherhood to the Rebel Wayfarers?

“Took you with me everywhere I went, Bee. Everything I saw, I wanted to share with you.”

“So fucking beautiful. You give that to me and I’ll take it. Want it. Need it, baby. Love it. Love you.”

Readers will notice one thing that will stick out. A majority of the story takes you out of the usual arena of Chicago or Fort Worth that we are accustomed to with this series. This entire book mainly revolves around Duck and his homeland in West Texas. Seeing Duck in past books and now will show you that he is a character of many facets.

MariaLisa deMora has -once again- gone above and beyond with her pure talent of character development. She never fails in bringing out feral emotion in her readers, even those of us with the very darkest of hearts. Being able to evoke that kind of power is nothing less than amazing. Through all of this she still remains humble. This. This is the reason that she has a legion of faithful fans.

This is my confession: Duck is an integral part of the intricate web that is the Rebel Wayfarers MC series. Once you start, it will take you in and hold you long after you come to the end.

Sweet sweet broken Duck.... so glad you have found your way!

Ms. deMora has told a very poignant tale with regards too Duck.  He is such a tortured soul.  His devil of a father and wicked brother were evil incarnate.  They inflicted pain on women that no one should ever experience just for their kinks and shortcomings... they almost destroyed Duck, but in the end love finds a way and always wins.

Reuben Nelms was born on a ranch with horses in his DNA.  His family has been into rodeos and breeding for generations.  He has survived the unthinkable... he gave up his life... he gave up the girl he loved to give them a better life... to keep them safe from the evil he believed is in him, in his DNA... he also dedicated his life to his brothers and to righting some of the wrongs his family inflicted.

But the past never really stays in the past does it? Brenda Calloway has never forgotten Reuben... not with an everyday reminder... not with working his ranch since his brother and father have been gone.  Now she has endured enough and needs to right some of her own wrongs... with Reuben...

Princess-Elizabeth-300x252

Circumstances brings Duck home... a home he only ever dreamt of.  Brenda loves him and he loves her... will the past kill any chance they might have.  Outside threats and danger are front and center as well as the Rebel Wayfarers still have enemies and they are desperate to hurt the club regardless of who they need to use to do that.

I truly love the Rebel Wayfarers MC series.  It is very original combing not only a motorcycle club and its drama, but also weaves many a tale into professional ice hockey and the rodeo.  These elements truly give these books a unique twist and great storylines.

Review for Duck (RWMC #8) by MariaLisa deMora

How?!
How does she do it?
Every. Single. Time.
I keep waiting for that one character that I just don’t connect with … but it hasn’t happened. MariaLisa deMora has created a world full of strong characters. Each is completely individual from the others and likable for totally different reasons. I’ve read dozens and dozens of series. And at least seventy-five percent of the time it feels like the author is keeping it up just because it’s what the readers say they want, but you can tell the characters or storylines have stopped talking to them as passionately. deMora is eight books and a handful of novellas into this series and I have yet to find a single angle that has made me think, this is it, this is the one that will disappoint me.

It doesn’t matter that each book has a thread of the same story we’ve already read from someone else’s point of view — it’s completely different from the new angle. Seeing things from another characters stand point, from where they are in their journey and feeling the excitement, grief, or anger for their brothers makes it theirs too. This is the only series that I have not one single complaint about seeing the same scenes from a different point of view. The author is a master at giving the reader a fresh story with each character.

Something else that makes Duck’s book completely unique is that it doesn’t take place in Chicago or the Fort like the other books. Don’t get me wrong, the chapters are involved, and Duck spends some time in both places, but for the majority of the book he is in his hometown — Lamesa, TX. That brings him a whole slew of challenges, the biggest being the memories his brother left in his wake. Ray Nelms was a living nightmare and his reach was far and wide. Him seeing how far that reach really was and how his name and presence impacted the people his own blood had hurt, tore pieces from his heart and soul. Guilt is a strong beast and can taint the best of us in irreparable ways — it’s easy to lose yourself to it. It seemed that Duck would never be free of the hellish family he was born into.

Duck’s story touches on several hard subjects, I will admit I cried more than once. I didn’t ugly cry like I did with Hoss, but the level of emotion this story evoked was strong. There is so much hope and love woven throughout his tale that even during the dark moments, I just knew somehow he would make it to the other side and have something amazing waiting for him.

Bee. She is one strong woman. Soft in the right ways and hard in others. She’s no wilting flower — she’s a badass. Elias, her son, is an amazing kid. That’s something else that makes reading this series a complete joy, the children aren’t just walk on characters. They play important parts to the storyline and have their chances to shine, it’s a nice change from the norm.

“Took you with me everywhere I went, Bee. Everything I saw, I wanted to share with you.”

Duck has a second chance at loving Bee and he’s determined to make every moment count. Through twists and turns, ups and downs, their story weaves it’s way into your heart.

“So fucking beautiful. You give that to me and I’ll take it. Want it. Need it, baby. Love it. Love you.”

Five Stars for an emotionally charged storyline and Five Wet Panties for my dirty talking Duck. (Yes, he is mine. Hands off.)

Rebels for life.

**If you have not read Rebel Wayfarers MC #1-7 you will want to do so prior to reading Duck so you can fully experience his story.**

JOSIE'S REVIEW 4.5 STARS

MariaLisa deMora has done it again! This author never ceases to amaze me. She is able to bring out so much emotion from me through her writing and some very emotional characters. Duck’s book felt so right, natural and was a story I have never read before. Unlike the other books in this series, Duck’s story takes place in his home town of Texas and not in Chicago or Fort Worth. If you follow this series than you know that some of the stories overlap, but each one feels different. I have read all 8 books and every time I do I find myself on an emotional roller coaster with so many ups and downs. I can only attribute those feelings to an author that is masterfully talented in creating new characters with similar but unique story lines.

We have seen Duck in the previous books, but we did not really know him, so getting this story was special. Duck was a good man, loyal to his club and to his friends but at night he has nightmares. It was hard to see how much his past tortured him. Getting to know his past broke me in more ways than I can express. The evil he has experienced not only at the hands of his father but that of his brother was horrific. They loved to inflict pain and they got off on it. Duck has spent years trying to deal what they did to him. In order to save to only woman that kept the demons at bay, he left his home town and never looked back. He found a home and family in the Rebel Wayfarers while developing a special bond with Mason the President. Duck never forgot the love he left behind. He vowed to never return until he got a call from that very woman.

Brenda as never gotten over Ruben (Duck). She doesn’t know the real reason why he left all those years ago. She only knows he left and has never come back, she does not know that he has never gotten over her just as she has never gotten over him. Brenda aka Bee is not a wall flower, she has her own reason for wanting Duck to come home and help her with the ranch. She is soft, understanding and takes her cues from Duck, but when she needs to take matters into her own hands, she is not afraid to do so. I loved this woman. Her reasons to bring him back brought a smile to my face.

Duck and Brenda’s story was so touching. I cried so many times. I loved the glimpses of the couple’s past, their deep seeded love and their connection. You can really feel how much Duck and Bee belong together. Once Duck and Brenda reveal all the secrets from their past, will it be too late for their second chance? What will this mean for Duck and his family in the Rebel Wayfarers? Will Duck’s life in the MC make Brenda send him away for good? If you are a fan of this series then you need to pick this one up.

MdM does it again! Not only delivers an awesome book but a freaking tear jerker at that! Dammit!

Duck certainly did come full circle eh? I'm so happy for him, because he really did deserve some good and happy in his life. Being related to something so evil and vile, I have no idea how the hell he turned out so fucking pure hearted like he did, he may think he was a coward but I think years of being so scared and disgusted with his brother were so naturally ingrained in him, he had no choice but to take off. He did right by Mica and everyone else in the long run and that's what matters.

Brenda was a very sweet character, I liked her a lot. Yeah, she kind of judged the club at first, but first timers tend to do that. I was pleasantly shocked at how well she accepted the club life and both Duck's role and subsequently her role in it. She was a perfect fit for him, accepting all facets of his life the way she did.

I hate that Hoss's tragic loss was once again rehashed, it made me bawl like a baby in his book and it made me bawl like a baby in this book as well...I'm not ashamed to admit that! Not even a little fucking bit!!!!!

I'm also thankful that we also get to find out what happens with Watcher's daughter, as that was something that was mentioned a few books ago but then it wasn't mentioned again. Rest easy people! This book explains it all..

Sadly there is another sad and unforseen loss in this book. A bright, colorful and cute as a button character. That was shocking and so fucking sad...MdM...please stop breaking my heart! I can't take it!

FYI: Mason is still and always will be the fucking man! BTW...Fury and Bethy...too funny...can't wait for that story!

BTW #2: How did someone as smart as Lalo end up so fucking crazy? That shit just baffles me..lol! Instead of using his smarts for something good...he does the complete opposite..what a dumbass!

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, abuse, love, betrayal, kidnapping, secrets, healing, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
Mica (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #1)
Slate (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #2)
Bear (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #3)
Jase (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #4)
Gunny (Rebel Wayfarers MC #5)
Mason (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #6)
Hoss (Rebel Wayfarers MC #7)
Harddrive Holidays (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #7.5)

This is Bee and Duck’s story. Years ago Bee and Duck had one night but he left her after that one night thinking she loved another man. Now she summoned him home. His home is surrounded by bad memories that he just wants to forget. But he loves Bee and wants to win her over. Can he win her over or was coming home a mistake? Can Bee handle all that comes with him and the club? Or will he have to choose Bee or the club? Bee is keeping secrets and wonders how angry Duck will be when they come out. Can she tell him and still keep him or will he walk away? When trouble comes to town will Duck be able to protect Bee? Or will he lose her from his life because of enemies of the club?

I loved both of these characters. Duck is strong and so faithful. He is protective of Bee and her family. Bee even though she is keeping secrets is strong and protective about her son. As always you get a ton of the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Duck is the 8th book in the Rebel Wayfarers series and for me it just keeps getting better and better. You have to read the series in order to follow what is going on because things get referenced from other books, different perspectives and if you haven't read them, you will not get the full effect.
This story follows Duck at a time in his life when he is still trying to overcome what Ray had done to him and his friends. As you know Ray and their dad are psycho, sick people that get off on hurting women, Mica and Molly was one of them. Brenda, Duck's woman from his past is demanding that he comes home to his family ranch. She does have her reasons for needing him home. I wasn't expecting the reason and was delighted once I found out. Duck had his reasons for leaving to begin with and I understood them. Brenda is his soulmate, his. I loved their relationship from the very beginning. I sensed from the very start how special they were. I loved how MariaLisa did that for me. Hell, for the whole series. She has created such a world, that I am completely sucked in and I dont want to ever let it go. The obstacles that she creates are versatile and have so much depth, never forced. I cannot wait to see what she comes up with.

All I got to say is this is an awesome story.
Rebel Wayfarers forever....Rebels forever.

Re read and everything remains the same. We finally get the story behind Duck (Rueben). This poor tortured soul due to the "sins of the father" and this case the brother too. How he turned out so differently God only knows but thankfully he did. To finally be able to be with the one you have loved all your life is always a great story. We have all the great characters in this story and get more insight into some. Once again some sad surprises. This is all leading to one helluva a big crescendo which also means there will be an end to it all, that, I'm not looking forward to. I've lived right along with these characters.

I absolutely love this series and couldn't wait to read Duck's story.

Duck goes home to sort out some family issues at the request of the love of his life. Someone he left behind years ago, but has never let go of all this time. I so loved that about him. Then Brenda has something to share that will rock his world to the core. I really loved Brenda. She is his heart and soul mate. Theirs is quite the love story and I so enjoyed it.

I give Duck 5 hearts!

Duck has to return home to Lamesa, TX when Brenda, the woman who owns his heart, calls him back to deal with the ranch he solely owns now he is the only Nelms man left. When he and Brenda are reunited it is obvious that they still love each other and have carried a piece of the other with them since that last night they spent together many years ago.

The trip turns out to be more than just a quick trip home to straighten out the family business though; reunited with his love, a life changing discovery and a friend of the club is in town… but so is an enemy, and both result in huge changes in the world of Duck and his Rebel Wayfarer family.

I enjoyed Duck, I loved the whole Brenda/Elias (her son)/Duck aspect and how he had to deal with the town’s misgivings about him thanks to his family, but, while they were involved a little bit I missed the rest of the brother’s here as Duck’s story takes him away from the club, so I’m looking forward to seeing where his character progresses to in future books. I give Duck 4.5 stars.

Ummm... It's starting to seem like this is an MC that can't keep their "family" safe. Not that it's a bad thing. Actually it's kind of genius. The other side of MC novels where not everyone makes it out alive. Sad yes but, irrevocably BRILLIANT!

Absolutely loved Duck and Bee's story!

There were so many layers to this story. A lot of sadness but even more joy. Second chance love is always great. Throw in some of the other twists I found on reading it and it was really hard to put down. Loving this series!!!

5 Undeniable Stars!!!

This is book eight in the Rebel Wayfarers Series and the previous books should be read before reading this one as there are so many references to past events and of course all the MC brothers are recurring throughout this book as they are in previous books.

This is Duck's story and I really loved how this book took us out of the Chicago and Fort settings that the previous books take place in. Don't get me wrong the book does take place at certain points there, but the whole of the story really takes place in Lamesa, TX, Duck's hometown. Once again Ms. deMora drew me in from the moment I started the book. She is such a consummate story teller and with the great attention to detail that I've come to expect from her, I was in Reuben's house feeling his same pain and disgust in watching the brutalization his father and brother got off on when with women, or when he thought of Brenda Calloway or Bee as he called her, the woman he's always loved but thought he couldn't have because of how his father and brother were.

Duck receives a call that he's needed back home, a home he hasn't been to a few years as he's fully with the Chicago chapter of the Rebel Wayfarers MC. Just because he's been gone, doesn't mean he doesn't still think of his Bee. And Bee has definitely been thinking about him....she has to! Will this be the opportunity they've both been waiting for, a second chance at the love they've been longing for? I had a gamut of emotions rolling through my body while reading this amazing book, from frustration and anger to tears to joy when the kids are in the scenes. As is to be expected, there are several tough topics that are touched on and if you're like me you'll understand that they're such an integral part of the story that you don't mind reading them.

All I know is that Duck and Bee belong together and deserve to get an HEA. However, can their love truly have a second chance? Can wrongs that have been committed in the past be righted to allow their love to fully blossom? I also know that once you pick this book up, if you're like me, you won't be able to put it down until you get these answers.

WOW Duck/Reuben's story starts off with a BANG. The way he grew up , the childhood he endured , I was horrified at the things he saw and had to do. It is obvious why his brother Ray - who we know from before and very much dislike - became the way he was. Their father was a despicable man and it is ironic how he came to his end. But anyhow - moving on with Duck's story. Much like the rest of the series we are filled with many many different things going on. We get pre-Rebel days/childhood , we get how they come to be Rebels , we get the present and future and we also get stories that may run alongside what we have already read. This is no fast read , you can't whip through this story because you would definitely miss out. Every single word and action spurs something. There is heartache , danger , suspense and all kinds of angst and drama !! Not to mention the dirty talking ways of Duck - wow he has a mouth and he knows how to use it.

Duck had been ridden with guilt for years due to his father and brother's actions. He spent years searching for and protecting Mica and now years later he has finally found a family that loves him. He may not have a specific job in the MC but he is a valued and trusted member. Always there for anyone. When the woman from his past reaches out to him he is intrigued by her odd message and he finds himself going home after years to find out what is going on. This is not club business so he is there as Reuben. Coming face to face with Brenda , the girl turned woman of his past and her son is bittersweet. Happy to see she is happy and had moved on and also happy to see how well she has done running a business started by his family. While home Reuben is trying to right his wrongs and win his girl back. This comes with many revelations and some are very amazing. Sadly club business and club trouble is never far. When Reuben/Duck have a collision of worlds the roller coaster begins. Hang on tight and follow along closely. Duck may get his HEA but it is not an easy ride.

Duck (Rebel Wayfarers MC, #8) by MariaLisa deMora is the next installment in the Rebel saga. Duck aka Rueben is the brother of Ray who we know as the abusive guy and in this story we find out how the guys ended up being the people they are. We learn a lot about Duck aka Reuben’s younger years plus his time once he decided to join the Rebel’s. Part of his past is the love of his life Brenda. He left her after a night of lovemaking. Now she is calling him up trying to get him to come home to the family business which she is running for him since both his father and brother are dead. As with all of the author’s previous books the story updates and intersects with the other previous books and previous characters. I love how the author brings each of her characters to life and draws the reader in so that I care and love all the characters. I can say that some of her books I could not see why they are the lead character and why they got a book but each book is good in its own right. Duck aka Rueben is no different. His is a very interesting story were not only does he have to fight his own demons but try and rekindle a love with a person who knows nothing about the MC life. A special surprise thrown into the mix complicates his life which can end his relationship with Brenda before it can get off the ground. I was given an ARC of the book for an honest review. I give Duck’s story 3.5 stars.

This story was incredible. I am a huge fan of this series. Love all of the characters. I love the storylines and all the wonderful relationships that are in each book. This woman knows how to write a story that will pull you in and make you feel every emotion as if you are the one living the story. Duck and Bee are amazing characters. I cried throughout the book, as I usually do with this series. I cried for everything that was lost. Love, time, innocence. Duck is a remarkable man. He had one of the worst upbringings and the most despicable family. This man overcame all of that to become the man that he is and not the man he was raised to be. He has proven himself over and over. Bee has been in love with Duck forever, but thought that dream was lost to her. Twelve years have gone by and it is like no time has passed in regards to their feelings for each other. These two have beaten the odds and come out better on the other side. I honestly see no end in sight for this series. I see so many potential stories still to be told. Nothing but praise for this author and I am not so patiently waiting for Watcher!

It's the eighth book in the Rebel Wayfarer MC series. A series that should be read in order to fully understand the intricacies of the RWMC. Are the characters well developed and complex? You, betcha! Other Rebels make appearances and move in and out of Ruben's book but in no way detract from his story, instead they make it richer. MariaLisa touched on the very dark past and dysfunction of Ruben's childhood but that scene helps the reader understand what drives Ruben to become the man known as Duck that the reader will fall in love with little by little throughout the book. His story with Bee which spans the time from childhood to adulthood is perfection. Who Duck ultimately becomes is how the pieces and life experiences - hard, harsh, cruel, understanding, sense of brotherhood, secrets, forgiveness and love - shaped him. He is sweet but not. Tortured but finds himself. Reconnecting with Bee and his family farm roots allows Duck to fully realize his worth and potential and what he means to others and how others look to him for support.

Book 8 in the series. If you haven’t read any of the series you might want to start with book one as you will be lost otherwise. We’ve seen Duck as far back as Book 1 and he’s grown close to our hearts. He’s had a crap life and finding the RWMC has helped him grow into the good man he is today. Going home to take care of the family business was something he didn’t want to do because of all the bad memories….maybe a good one or two. Feeling the RWMC is his “home” now, there is no need to go back and open old hurts. Once back where it all began Duck soon learns that not all that he left behind was as it seemed. Can the old come together with the new? Will Duck get a second chance?
I loved this book! We get to see familiar faces we meet is the previous books. I love the way this story played out and can’t wait for book 9!!

Cannot Get Enough of Rebels

I have become such a huge fan of MariaLisa and her Rebels. The storylines are very well written and I truly love these guys.
Duck has been such an amazing story, I was not disappointed with the character. He has been a huge curiosity to me for a long period. His brother was such a huge part of Mica's tale, and Duck's compassion and empathy for her really showed what an amazing character he was going to be. He was so amazing story, I fell in lust with him. 💞 MariaLisa is such an amazing storyteller. By reading, you can tell she loves what she writes and her stories reflects the most brilliantly, passionately written MC books that I have become a huge fan.
I highly recommend this story and series to my friends and family members. On to the next book! 📚 Yes, this series is just that dang good! ❤

Love reconnected

Not sure how I missed this episode of the Rebel Wayfarers when it first came out, but I'm so glad I caught up with Reuben aka Duck. So much tragedy was bound up in his character, the shadows of his past needing someone with a true inner light to help him move forward. His reconnection with Brenda gives him that, and so much more.
Beautiful story, beautifully written. And by beautiful I mean that in the context of an MC romance so there's still all the action and grit associated with this series!

WOW! It was such a great read. I just love this series. Each book has such a different story to tell. You get such a great view into the characters that it makes you feel like you know them personally. The book just flows so nicely that you don't realize you've been reading for hours. You won't want to put it down once you start. I am so glad Duck got his HEA he really did deserve it. There was a bump or two on the road to happiness but he over came them with class. Rated Great

Duck finds his way home

Duck has been so trapped in his mind with the horrors that his father and brother wrought, especially against people who became family to him. Needing to deal with that, it's no surprise why Mason is the club president as he permits him the time needed.

This book gave me all the feels - from laughter to tears - and I am thrilled to see Duck get his HEA after years in the shadow!
