Twisted is a collection of three thrilling and creepy short stories. It reminds me of The Twilight Zone and Black Mirror in the way the tales are unsettling.
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. This is a short collection of thrillers that will keep you turning the pages to figure out what happens to the three women in these three short thrillers. I have been trying to read more thriller for they make my heart skip a beat when the characters are in a very stressful situations. I love that thrilling feeling of the unknown. These are worth the read. The story: To Preserve, Protect and Defend was the one that really caught my attention. It has those creep factor that keep me on edge. Fiona had to go through a bit to keep her nightmares at bay. I love the way they made me feel. The thing about thrillers they have this edge of reality in them.
I recieved a copy of this book from a goodreads giveaway in return for an honest review. Twisted is a fun yet spooky collection of 3 short stories. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two 'Train Girl' and 'Again' which had great plot twists and were awesome quick reads. The third story was not my favourite and I felt like there was something missing from it. But otherwise the book was a fun quick read.

I received this book as the result of a Giveaway and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The book contains three short stories, all three are uniquely different. Her style of writing is nice and relaxing but the plot line makes you want to continue further. If I had to describe the stories themselves I would compare them to the Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock. Definitely an author to follow...I only wish the book was longer, I could read her tales over and over!
I was given this copy through a Goodreads giveaway.
I found the collection to be fast paced and well written. Kristina does a great job of developing the characters in a short time and keeping the interest of the reader.
I'd like to thank the author for sending me a copy of her book in exchange for my review
This book contains three completely different short stories. It was a very fast read and the stories were fun.
Train Girl Marley is on the way to visit her sister when she "meets" a creepy looking old man who warns her that she's in danger. He can see her future and she should take his advice. It's all like a bad dream to her...
Again Lucy is a hardcore HR Director who gets off on firing people. She finally gets her payback when she fires the wrong employee.
To Preserve, Protect and Defend It goes all Area 51 in the White House.
I received this book as a gift, and I wasn't able to connect with it. I feel like the twists all ended up being standard tropes, and it was a bit of a letdown. It felt like everything was built around endings that weren't surprising. The editing also wasn't very thorough.
