Essential for understanding people

I found this book extremely interesting and essential for understanding a certain type of person- a codependent. After reading this book I watched a documentary about prostitutes and their pimps, and I could recognise the dynamic between a codependent and narcissist. I could understand the psychology of the prostitute, whereas even the documentary maker was baffled by it. The book helped me understand what codependent means, and that I am not codependent. It has helped me understand the point of view of some friends, who might be codependent. I think it is essential reading for counsellors, police officers, psychologists, and just anyone who deals with people!

This is really interesting. I have learned to differentiate between being codependent and being an empath.
I can recommend this book for people who are not sure if they are codependent or more of an empath.

I found this very difficult to read. It felt like a game was being played with me. I'm not a co-dependent, but was able to feel how they must feel like in a relationship like this. Awful.

The Definitive cold hard truth - you will finally "get it"

Tudor writes with brutal honesty and remarkable insight to both the narcissist and the codependent. Although his role is to scorn the codependent, CD take heart - you will finally comprehend that he is meeting your need to give care and serve. When you get it you will leave and begin the journey to health. CDs can recover. N's will seek fuel - truly enslaved addicts - until death. Don't pity these vampires. Walk away and don't look back. Tudor calls it like it is. Remarkable self-awareness and a valuable read in breaking the cycle. Surely he wrote it to receive praise such as this. Read it. You know if you are ready to hear the truth.

Great read

It was a great book and mind opening about the relationship between narcissists, codependents and empaths. Author loses one star for poor editing and typos.
