My reading challenge this year is to read more non-fiction books and so I started with a book on skin since I am always curious about how it works and how should we care about it properly.
This book taught me a ton of things about skin, however, it is kinda more "scientific" for my taste and memorizing the medical terms is a real challenge. It is divided into: skin anatomy: about all the layers of skin and their main components (a bit scientific for my taste but the hard facts are necessary if you are looking for a deep understanding) skin conditions: it presents a lot of different skin condition. It is really interesting as it provides skin care tips for the condition, its prevention, and its treatment. skin care: all bout skin routines in relation to skin types. It provides answers on how to motorize, exfoliate, wash and so on. skin and nutrition: the foods that aggravate some conditions and the foods that boost your skin health. skin and sun: the sun is harmful except for ten minutes of exposure to collect some vitamin D.
