Lori Copeland
195 books536 followersLori Copeland was born on 12 June 1941. She had a relatively late start in writing, breaking into publishing in 1982 when she was already forty years old. Over the next dozen years, her romance novels achieved much success, as was evidenced by her winning the Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Award, The Holt Medallion, and Walden Books' Best Seller award. She has been inducted into the Missouri Writers Hall of Fame.
Despite her success in more mainstream romantic fiction, in 1995, she decided to switch focus. Her subsequent books have been in the relatively new subgenre of Christian romance. She has also collaborated with authors Angela Elwell Hunt or Virginia Smith on a series of Christian romance novels.
Lori and her husband of over forty years, Lance, live in Springfield, Missouri, surrounded by the beautiful Ozarks. They have three grown sons, three daughter-in-laws, and six wonderful grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. She and her husband are very involved in their church, and active in supporting mission work in Mali, West Africa.

So many great stories...
3 mail order bride sister stories and 3 more mail order bride stories about friends from an orphanage. Lori's style of writing is always entertaining yet poignant.

This whole series is delightful! Lori Copeland is a talented and hilarious author. I love the humor found throughout this series of mail order brides. I have read them over and over the adventures, romance and humor never gets old.

Super lessons on learning to trust God's plan. Enjoyed the story of each woman finding her way. Great faith based book.

Wow! That was a most incredible story! Faith walks blindly by faith in God's plan, but He has something so much better in store than her best laid plans! I loved this first book in the series with the oldest of 3 sisters, taking the role of the bride. I can't wait to read about the other two girls who are all preachers kids.

This was a fascinating story of trusting God's will! Poor June has a difficult time getting to the altar, but God still uses her in mighty ways!

Wowza! This poor girl goes through the ringer over and over again, til our Creator and Father gets through to her! She suffers greatly for a great Love (God Almighty) and a great husband.

This was a very unique story! I loved Glory's transformation as she began to know Christ and gained some womanly skills! I can't wait to continue these stories and read about more of the brides! Book 4 has only one scene that connects it to the three sisters that started this collection.

Such a whirlwind! Ruth and her man seem like a totally different couple than they were in the last book. That was pretty hard to grasp for me. And oh, the trouble these two find themselves in, but for the patience of God, where would they be! I loved the Bert scene!

This beginning doesn't match the previous book's ending, but maybe the author had to fine tune it to make this story work.
God has a plan for each of us, but often we get our pans confused for God's! This is the story of Patience, a woman of faith, but little patience! In God's perfect timing, He either gives us what we want, or gives us what we need! A perfect ending, but I hope there's another book in this series!
