Author Michael J. Robinson takes readers back to 1976 as he tells the story of a young man named David. While living in his small town, David meets a woman named Mystery. They instantly form a friendship, but David finds himself quickly falling in love with her. However, David’s heart sinks when he finds that his brother has stolen her from him. To escape his heartbreaking event, he quickly leaves town, but finds that living on his own isn’t as easy as it might seem. David decides to head back home, but on his way back meets Victor - a man who will forever change his life.

This book is an excellent mixture of romance, mystery, and horror making it perfect for those who want something thrilling to read. Robinson includes many plot twists that are sure to take you by surprise making this book one you’ll definitely want to check out.
