I love this author but this book just didn't do it for me. There seem to be to much unnecessary filler words and descriptions. For example, she used 3-4 pages just to describe Angel 's house. Furthermore, Raquel got on my nerves. At times I wondered if she's bipolar. As I said before, I love this author and will continue to support her work.

Desired too, the highly anticipated sequel to Desired had me from page 1. Angel and Raquel where amazing and so hot I need water to cool off. Angel and Raquel met when her father worked for his family at the time teenage Raquel had a crush on Angel, but she knew her very overprotective father and brother would not approve so she waited and waited until she finished college and was heading to SF to a new job and new life.On the night she is to leave town Raquel sets out to seduce the object of her desire, and does. Feeling Angel will never want a real relationships she leaves town only to return 3 years later, grown up and still wanting Angel. Angelo Leonetti has bad boy written all over him with his sexy good looks, wealth and Mob boss father he has no problem getting any woman he wants but when he finds out Raquel is back he sets out to make her his no matter what the cost or who gets in the way and Angel always gets what he wants. Soon both of their past come back to haunt the new lovers and they find themselves in quite a bit of danger and both fight for their lives and the their love.
A great read if there ever was one. This book had it all, family drama, sibling rivalry, love, super hot sex, and enough action to to rival an action movie. Angel was the Alpha to end all Alpha's, he was not letting Raquel go no matter what and Raquel was no shrinking violet she could hold her own and I just loved them together. The brother against brother aspect was so sad. I really wanted Eddie and Angel to work it out but Eddie was Crazy! one of my favorite things about this book was getting a chance to see what's happening with Mason/Max and Drake/Georgia, That just sealed the deal for me for a great read all around!

This is another great story by one of my favourite authors.
This was Raquel and Angel's story. I liked Raquel I loved that she was not intimated by Angel and could hold her own with him. What did irritate me about her was all that BS she was giving Angel about why she did not want to commit to their relationship. That she felt they did not know each other enough when the truth was she was not being honest with him about the trouble she was in. Apart from that I loved that she was a ride and die kinda of gal I LOVED THAT!!! I love it when the woman steps up right next to her man and is not afraid to get her hands dirty especially when she knows her man is in the Mafia. I loved Angel's honesty he made it plain he wanted her and he was not playing games. It is so refreshing when the man is just real and honest with his woman even if she is playing the fool!

One thing I will say about this author is she knows how to write an alpha. Her male characters are so dominant and sexy. They do whatever is necessary to protect what they consider to be theirs. Angel and Raquel butted heads constantly. They were both extremely stubborn which created a lot of drama for them both and they had such great chemistry. Angel was insatiable and Raquel was helpless against his charm and dominance. This book had a great plot with surprising twists. It was definitely a page turner and hopefully this series continues because I can't get enough of the characters.

Boy, the suspense and mystery in the story had my head spinning. S.K. knows how to spin a story full of suspense. Angel and Raquel have it for each other but just have to wait for when it's right for each other. Raquel, being much younger than Angel always had a crush on him and was determined to get his attention to no avail. Until that one night, before she left town for good, it was do or die and she got her target. Angel was definitely hooked but knew that he was no good for her and let her leave but kept a watch on her. After 3 years, they have both changed and matured and the time was right, but there are dangerous secrets that Raquel was keeping. She was trying to prove that she could take care of her own problems and not involve Angel or her family. Eddie is still scheming as usual but as usual, it backfires with deadly action.
I love how Drake gets over his anger with his cousin and Uncle to come to the family rescue, reuniting the cousins who are closer than they are with their own brothers. The method they used to extract revenge on Eddie and Agusto was very imaginative. I like the way that S.K. included Mason and Maxine this story from one of her earlier books Ruined. I enjoyed reading about their inclusion in this story.

O.M.G. THIS BOOK IS THE ULTIMATE BEST EVER!!!!!
My God S.K. Lesley you have surpassed yourself and made a fantastic story, I was so surprised and absolutely loved the fact that you brought not only Drake and Georgia into the story, which was expected but to factor in Max and Mason was outstanding!! If you the reader has never read this authors books I plead with you to read them all, you will not be disappointed, these stories take you to another place, you will give up going out with friends to stay in and read a S.K. Lesley book, I kid you not! I highly recommend you one click this book and all her back catalogue you will not be disappointed!!!!

I need a book 3 for this group
Wowwwwww....this is my second time reading this book and I always get wrapped up into Raquel and Angel. You add Lincoln, Georgia, Mason and Max into the mix and it's a freaking good time! I hated the loss but I loved the revenge. What I don't understand is why Hugo and Darrell never got their karma? They too, were involved with Eddie. I truly hope that there's another book with Angel, Raquel, Lincoln, Georgia, Mace and Max they give me all the laughs, sexy alpha men, and sassy female companionship I need!

When this book first came out i wasn't as excited to read it because i was still caught up with Georgia and Drake. But after finally giving it a chance. I must say that i LOVED it. The chemistry between Angel and Raquel was on fire throughout this book. Sometimes i wanted to slap Raquel silly for doubting her man but all in all it was an exciting book. I was happy my other favourite couples made an appearance in this book as well. This book is worth the read. Awesome work S.K Lessly

I really, enjoyed this series. I actually jumped in on this with Desired and went on to read Desired Too, which focuses on Drake's cousin, Angel and his love, Raquel. There is a lot of adventure and action in this book and while there are too many pages dedicated to describing things like Angel's apartment, you can sort of skip that and jump back into the story. I looked forward to the end of my day for the last few days to curl up and get into this! So you know a book is good when you can't wait to get back to it! Raquel and Angel's story is full of passion and the author does an excellent job developing both characters, so you really can get into why they are so crazy for each other. The author continues to shine by letting readers get inside the main characters' heads, so you know what they are thinking when they do certain things. Love scenes were also written quite well. I liked this series so much that I went back and now reading about Mason and Max in "Ruined" which is #1 in this Loving an Alpha Male Series. They both make an appearance in the "Desired" books, as supporting characters, but you do not need to read their story to get into "Desired." Highly recommend this series! I'll be reading all of them!

This Angel and Raquel's story..but first I just got to say kudos to S.K.for including all her alphas and their women in the exciting racy storyline....there's Lincoln and Georgia, Mason and Max....and I believed there's a hint about Jason from Obsession....Mason made a reference to him about him and Lincoln getting together for future jobs...at least I think it was...but back to the story ..Raquel and Angel are both alphas...each trying to bend each other to their will...through a lot of hot hot hot sex..meanwhile Eddie the art is still pulling strings...and then enters Ira...Raquel's ex...he's a sleaze and a rat..lots of action..plots and twists made this a page turner....hope the next book is about Jeremy, he's the hot friend of Mason....oooh..I can't wait...

This is the story of Angel Leonetti and Raquel Waters. Theirs is one that began when both were very young and Angel was her brothers best friend. The heat between these two is off the charts. However, Angel is a bada-- Alpha who nearly always refuses to hear the word no. Raquel is a lady who is smart but has made a serious error in some of her choices.

Sexy... Sexy... Sexy
Honestly, I know the book had excitement, it was intense with suspense, it had mob issues. It was filled with non-stop drama... but I cannot see pass how sexy she kept describing Angel. Man, how can we read pass anything when we can't get his sexy tattoos, height and grey eyes out our head. And I can't describe the love scenes, because the way she describes Ms. Waters ability to deal with what he brings... my kindle sizzles.
I read this book before and reread it again and I also read Lincoln's book, he is sexy too!! Awesome book. Nice series.

This author put her foot in this book!! The passion, the strong characters, the cameos from other characters.....EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT!!!
This author can weave a tale of intrigue like nobody's business! I was on pins and needles at the end....and what an epic ending!!
I love Angel and Racquel....they are PERFECT together! And of course, Drake is still an AWESOME BADASS!!

Mason, Angel, and Drake all in one room. Yum
I really enjoy reading this book. Mason, Drake and Angel are hilarious together.
I love how bad ass Raquel ends up being and the fact that she can hold her own. I love the fact that you see a lot more of max and mason in this book. I also cannot wait to read Drake and Georgie book.

Editing..
This story had me, I was in it. But the editing needs better work. And another thing if she was a P.I and was registered in many weapons, it threw me that she felt uncomfortable holding or shooting a gun, that threw me. It didn't go with the narrative that she was a badass. But other than that, good story.

Desired Too was AMAZING. there were times where I got upset beyond anything by the characters. First Raquel and her constant bipolar attitude. I understood that she didn't want to be controlled but she kept putting herself in situations that had the men in her life go crazy especially Angel. Then there was Raquel's brother and father, Victor and Mr. Walters, for crying out loud if you love your daughter and constant keep reminding her how she is fierce like her mother why do you keep questioning everything she does. They knew Angel was dangerous but they also knew he loved Raquel and wouldn't let anything happen to her as long as he lives. Eddie was just annoying and finally he got what was coming to him as well as Augusto and Ghost face. It was sad to see the Don die. I wish he hadn't but he too got me upset. He could have prevented some of the events that happened in the book but oh well I guess. May he rest in peace. I really enjoyed the book and I can't decide who I love more Angel, Lincoln, or Mason; all three were the prefect alpha male and came in a clutch for their wives which I couldn't stop gushing over. S.K. Lessly has moved up my chart to one of my favorite authors. I can't wait to read more of her books in the future.

WOW ! Awesome ! This is a captivating romance that I absolutely enjoyed. It's full with awesome characters and a great dialogue. Definitely entertaining story and fast paced,.It will make you feel sad and bring tears to your eyes for part of the story. But it's full of intrigue with emotional drama. Along with their sizzling hot passions it will keep you turning pages until the end. I'm a fan of strong and brave women with men who will fight for their families to reach for better futures. And of course steamy connections I enjoyed every moment of Raquel and Leo's relationship It's one that I didn't put my Kindle down until I finished the story. It's also full of intrigue with emotional drama and if are like myself you will enjoy it because it's a awesome romance.

Ok I have read a few SK Leesly books and this one is my 2nd favorite. Obsession with Josh and Summer/Kenya’s was hands down my favorite couple. I didn't like Drake and Georgia's story in Desired. But I did like them in this book. I really liked Mason & Max's story so they are a tied for 2nd place. It was good to get to see Max and Mason as well.
Now about this story. Angel was EVERYTHING you want a alpha male to be!!!! I feel like I'm cheating on Josh LMAO. Raquel was ok, I hated he ex-boyfriend issue, it almost made me stop reading but I'm glad I did but that ending had me on the edge of my seat!!!!!! I need Josh and Angel for a night. I promise I will give them back lol.

Raquel Waters moved back home to get away from things, but she ended up jumping right back into Angel Leonetti’s bed. Somewhere between the sex and Angel’s possessiveness, Raquel finds herself in the midst of a plot take out Angel as the head of his crime family. And Raquel can’t let that happen.
I liked that this book made the attempt to connect some of the others in the series, like Maxine and Mason from Ruined, and Drake and Georgia from Desired - this is actually a sequel to Drake and Georgia's book. I did not like that at least one plot point was dropped, but here's hoping that the next book, Obsession Too, brings all five of the series' couples together.
Not as many grammatical mistakes, but I’m side-eyeing some of these dialogues. I would only recommend this for people who actually WANT to read the series.

I waited to read both books before leaving a review, I am new to this author and I am very pleased. The story was phenomenal, I loved it. I cried, laughed, and became very angry; when a book can do this to me I know I will devour any book from this author.

This was really good! I was a little frustrated with Raquel especially when she went back to her hotel room. I knew that Ira was there to cause trouble. That Eddie was so greedy for power. He was sickening and got what was coming to him (finally)! I am glad that S.K. Lessly brought characters from previous stories into this one. I am glad that Angelo and Raquel got their HEA. Great story!

This was as good as the first I could not go to sleep until I finished this story. Man I’m in love with a man that is a ride or die, protects his women with everything he got. I also like a sister that has her man’s back, when Raquel shot that man before he shot her man Angel I loved it. Is there a story on Max & Mason I know I’m going to go look if it is I’m reading it. Skills are on point!
At the start of this story I was a little caught off guard. In my opinion it didn't grab you as the first two did. I felt that this one stalled. As I continued to read I could see it all started to tighten up taking the reader deeper into the lives of the characters. Pulling out yet another great read. Thank you 😊!

What a ride!!
The story of ANGEL and Raquel grabbed me from the very beginning. The writer displayed some of the hottest sex scenes that I have ever read. Those coupled with the action, had my heart liter all pounding through my chest. This was the first book read from this author but it won't be the last.
