This book is great for those who want to get acquainted with software testing and understand how it works under the hood. The concise presentation helps readers focus and grasp the key points and terms used in testing. It provides an overview of the software development process, the difference between testing and Quality Assurance, as well as a classification and the main types of testing. The last chapters cover test automation, which will be useful for people already working in this field or related areas.

The material is well presented with practical examples, real-life scenarios, and helpful analogies. There are also links to further study specific topics, which is both convenient and important.

Cons – it's not suitable for complete beginners in testing, as some basic knowledge of the field is needed to fully understand the content.
