Power-Hungry, Entitled, Dangerous…are words that could possibly be used to describe Chanel Cavette. In this entry, the tables have been turned and Chanel Cavette is now sitting at the highest throne in the Underworld… or so she thinks.
Chanel Cavette learns to eat, sleep, and breathe for The Cartel, but is her position even real or is she being used as a decoy? Chanel digs a hole all on her own and when her perfect life comes crumbling down there is no one to point the finger at other than herself.
Farren Knight is living life in London, and her children are finally healed mentally from losing so many of their loved ones in one period of time.
Farren isn’t interested in the business dealings of The Cartel, after not being able to ignore the warning signs for her sister’s sake she moves back to the states.
Farren is forced to pull out the “all-black” once again to ensure her familly’s safety and freedom. But she doesn’t have to, Kool, her lifetime lover is basically begging to join The Cartel. After losing too many of her loved ones she refuses to allow him access to what she calls “the dark side”
Farren Knight, the woman of such high caliber, style, class and grace. The epitome of a black woman, the woman that has literally stood tall in every situation she found herself in– Farren continues to reign supreme.
The real meaning of family is exploited and Farren Knight is compelled to show her little sister a thing or two about loyalty and what being a woman of your word truly means. The Connect’s Wife saga is finally coming to an end in this explosive finale.

🔥💅🏽 “Because apparently Chanel STILL ain’t learned.”
Let me just say this loud for the people in the back: James is a good man Savannah. A good man. And I will never understand why Nako had him spin the block for Chanel’s hard-headed, wrong-decision-making, chaos-magnet self. 😩
Like, I finished this book yelling at my screen:
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ WHY HER , JAMES?!
Chanel is still stupid. She’s power-drunk, delusional, and allergic to peace. Every time she took one step forward, she moonwalked right back into disaster. Meanwhile, Farren Knight is over there being the queen she’s always been — poise, power, and patience that Chanel couldn’t buy on credit. 👑
But let’s be real — Nako ate this finale up. The writing was tight, the tension was fire, and every chapter had me like, “Oh, so THIS how we ending it?” Whew. I’m mad, I’m impressed, and I’m emotionally unavailable until I start the next series.

Book 7 had me beyond frustrated! 😩 I honestly feel like being the head of the cartel should have never been an option for Chanel. All the turmoil she went through in this book stemmed from the fact that she “wasn’t about that life”. 🫠Chanel wasn’t Farren, and that’s okay! I loved Farren in this book; she tried her hardest but it was sink or swim for Chanel - luckily, Farren was there with the floaties and life jacket to save her. Whew 😅. Though I’ve read the Underworld, it was cool seeing the earlier versions of the guys.
Well what an ending to a series. Chanel was in the head seat for all of 3 seconds before things went haywire. Farren had to come in and save the day. Marriages were broken, some relationships were reestablished. The Feds are relentless but the case is now settled. Read to find out if an indictment and conviction was handed out. We meet the new generation of players. The Cartel is no more. The Underworld controls the streets now and I can tell I’m gonna like them
I applaud the author ... I definitely see her growth as a writer and I must say, it does my heart GOOD! You paid attention to edits and grammatical errors; they were few and far between! As always, the storyline is phenomenal! This has been a GREAT series that I simply hate that has come to an end! Farewell Farren , I am so glad that you finally found your happy! Wouldn't it be an awesome tale for Michael to grow up in his father's shoes and become THE CONNECT'S SON???
This series is hands down, my favorite. I've read hundreds of urban novels and for me very few, if any, have compared to this series. Farren is hands down the baddest b***h eva!! Sad this is over but I will be purchasing all of the books once they are released in paperback. Also, a new set of characters were introduced and I am too excited and anxiously waiting for their stories. Nako is supremely talented and I urge EVERYONE to read this series!
This finale seemed unnecessary in my opinion. There was nothing just exciting about the storyline. So no more Chanel Cavet novels??? I don't know how to feel about this installment honestly. Though it was a decent read, there were no fireworks.
The ending to a very, very good series. Farren Knight is finally happily married to Kool and the kids are in a better place. Farren is now London's queen bee, via NY, Atlanta, Jersey, etc. Ha!
The whole quote by Christian saying “ “Wealth is quiet it makes no noise, Rich is flashy and loud” that man was the flashiest man alive. I understand many people didn’t know what he did but he definitely flaunted his wealth. If James knew Chanel wasn’t built for this life then why did he keep encouraging her to be the boss. 7 books later why is Farren still acting like Christian was the best husband like he wasn’t the reason her daughter got killed due to his infidelities. I’m still not understanding how she can continue to say things like “ Life with Christian Knight wasn’t appreciated until after they had separated and he had passed. His power, strength and love didn’t mean nearly as much then as it meant to her now.” like what? Even at the end of the book she said Asia messed his head up but he was cheating on her the whole time! I know Farren been through a lot but I don’t like how she was chumping Kool. Chanel ended up just being a brat. She needs some help.
This was an excellent series...up until book 6. You should've ended the finale at Ferran! Channel?? Rubbish. She doesn't deserve a story, everything about her was totally irrelevant! I pity James, he deserves so much better. I can't believe I completed book 6 let alone open up book 7, but only to stop at chapter 2 bcuz Chanel not only gave me a headache, I literally rolled my eyes and pasted a one ★.
However, from Book 1-5 you definitely got all five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Thank you for such a great story. Honestly, if you brought back Christian (the same way you did Ferran) it would've made an epic HEA 💯 despite Christian's flaws, he was an amazing father and an upstanding provider and mentor to his wife Ferran, her constant resorting back to Chrissy was self explanatory dead or alive. He left such an amazing footprint that was an impact to those close to him.
Farren Knight is that bihh! OMG what a series. I’m mad I’m just reading this series (and then next will be the Underworld) but I’m impatient when it comes to waiting for the next book so this worked out perfectly. I fell in love with NAKO after hearing about a book that was similar to the artist Nipsey Hussle (RIP), actually read the book and was hooked on her writing game since then. NAKO has different writing skill that keeps you from wanting to put the book down. The ONLY person in the The Connect’s Wife series I wish I could bring back is Carren. Something about loosing a child breaks my heart BUT this is the world Christian and Farren lived in and in the end no one is safe...Now off to reading the Underworld series!
I cannot believe I finished this series in 3 days! I couldn’t put it down. I needed more. I feel bad for James. He deserves to be happy. Chanel was so dumb and I was shocked. She was also selfish. Money surely changed her. What I couldn’t understand was why Farren put her on knowing what the Cartel did to her family? She literally lost a majority of her family to the Cartel but put her sister in it. That was selfish. However, I’m so glad that Farren got her happily ever after! She deserved it! I thought it would’ve never happened lol
Whew this series ending is Bittersweet, but I'm glad Farren has peace at last!!!! I still dont like Christian and probably never will, but I'm glad she put him to rest. Chanel still ain't learned, but you can't make a fool have common sense. This series gave me insight on all the answers I had since I read the Underworld series first!!! I'm now all caught up and anticipating the newest drop!
Nako, I loved this series. Although, Channel was so selfish and self centered. I feel so bad for James. Such a good dude he deserves a true love. Farren, was thought to be heartless but she did things as needed. Seeing how things played out with everyone. I hope all things will continue to be cool. Kool and Farren will have some great things going on. 🤗🤗🤗
Farren is in all women. She's full of everything we are- Superwoman with spirituality and by any means necessary to get the job done! I'm happy that she got her forever after; a life do over with memories of who's child she is! Well done and definitely an excellent read!
As much as I loved reading this series, I can honestly say that I’m glad this was the last installment. I’m happy Farren finally got her happily ever after and that total peace that we all want to have. I’m definitely glad Chanel’s story has ended. She was truly a ditzy broad who really did not have the street sense or savvy to run any type of organization.
This was one of those series that could’ve gone on for a few more books but it ended so perfect. I loved the series from beginning to end. Enjoyed the character growth and development in each book. Farren Knight is definitely one STRONG woman.
Yes Mrs. Farren Knight AKA THE OVERCOMER!!! It all came full cicle for her, and I'm proud of how she weathered the storms of life. There's a Farren Knight in all of us. Great series.
💯💯💯💯💯👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😘😘😘😘😘... Yes I loved this series Farren was a tru boss. I loved all the characters... Your writing style bring each and every character too life. I'm glad after all the BS she went through she finally found PEACE💪🌷💞
If I tell you how this series had me busting u-turns randomly and side eyeing every single person in my proximity, you’d laugh. But it was seriously that great!!!
Wow I enjoyed this whole series. I'm totally looking forward to The Underworld series! Eager to what Nasir character entail. All in all this was a good series , minus minor flaws. I must admit to much contradiction throughout book along with repeatedness.I
I was so over Farren’s obsession with Christian and Chanel’s stupidity. I’m sorry; I was ready for this series to end. Nice introduction to The Underworld though.
This final book in this series was very anticlimactic!
I am glad to have met some of the Underworld members in this final book. I will read that series to see if that, too,is mesmerizing as The Connect's Wife. Once again, kudos to Nako.
I'm sad to see the series end but I'm glad it did. I do wanna know who the other test was for and what's in Mexico. I hope James leave and enjoy life because CoCo is irritating. I'm happy her and Kool are together they make the perfect couple.
Well this series was definitely a good read. So happy for Farren. Um. Sick of Channel. She got on my ever loving nerves. I definitely need to get into the underground series next.
Farren is that bihhhhh! I liked Chanel at first but I eventually ended up disliking her. Nor did I feel sorry for her. You never took responsibility for her actions
