J.B. McGee is a mother, wife, and the Amazon Top 100 author of the best selling This Series. Amazon Crossing acquired the German rights to her debut novel, Broken. Heartfall, her coming of age novel about a bullied ballerina, is a #1 best seller in the Teen and Young Adult Performing Arts genre. Skipping Stones, a military romance about a young woman strongly influenced by her faith and her family all the while searching for her true love, is a #1 best seller in Women's Christian Fiction.

When J.B.'s not writing, she enjoys reading as well as watching and live-chatting her favorite television shows with her friends. Her favorite shows are Quantico, Blindspot, Grey’s Anatomy, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Below Deck, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, and Scandal (mainly because of her love of Scott Foley).

Born and raised in Aiken, South Carolina, she attended Converse College and eventually earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of South Carolina-Aiken in 2006.

In college, she was told by her children’s literature professor she would be the one student from her class to be an author. McGee shook her head and laughed. But in 2012, over six years after that statement was made and after a love of reading had been reignited, she gave writing a shot. J.B. gladly ate crow when she emailed her first book to the above mentioned children’s literature professor thanking her and acknowledging the accuracy of her prophecy.

In 2011, it was discovered that not only do both of her children, but also she and her husband, have mitochondrial disease. Affecting 1 in 2500 people, it has no cure or treatments. Being a writer allows J.B. to care for her family’s unique needs while also providing a platform for raising awareness for this disease.

She is a hopeless romantic who loves to escape into fairy tales—some she reads and some she creates.

J.B. McGee and her family now reside in Buford, Georgia.

Everything in life is temporary. The trials and tribulations don't matter at the end of the day. The most important thing is family and having someone to tell you, "I'll love you forever."

This series holds a very special place in my heart. I read it way back in early 2013 and I fell in love with Gabby and Bradley. I devoured this series and when I saw that a fifth book was in the works, I was so anxious to get my hands on it. Sadly, it didn’t get published as soon as I had hoped. There was even a time when the author announced she would not be writing the final book. Well I had the honor of meeting J.B. McGee at an author signing last October, where I had the biggest fangirl moment with her in the hotel lobby. She was actually flattered by my response to meeting her. She seriously is the most modest and down to earth person you could ever meet. She made my day when she announced that she decided to write the last book after all and it was close to being completed!! I am so very grateful to her for giving me the ARC!

Even though almost three years have passed since I read the books, I had no problems picking up where the last book left off. At first I was upset because the story starts off surrounding around Gabby’s older sister, Sam, and the dilemma she finds herself in the middle of. I was expecting this book to be all about Gabby and Bradley. Then as the story progressed, I actually became so engrossed with Sam’s storyline, that I found it hard to put this book down. But don’t worry, the story switches between Sam and her drama back to Gabby & Bradley. So we get to see how married life is going for those two.

Sam is dating Ryan Adams, who is an ER resident, just like her. But she also finds herself insanely attracted to his younger brother, Joe. Joe is 100% crazy about her and is trying his best to make her admit she shares the same feelings. Sam, struggles with her conscience and also thinks that the right man to be with is Ryan. She thinks Joe is a player and even though he makes her heart race and her body tingle, which doesn’t happen with Ryan, Sam believes Joe would only end up breaking her heart in the end. Yes, this is kind of a love triangle, even though it is quite obvious who the right man is and I need to make it clear, there isn’t any cheating involved.

The angst kept me on the edge of my seat. I wondered how long it would take for Sam to give in to her heart and would she end up with the right guy. Also there was the issue with her father trying to get back in her life. He had really killed their relationship so many years ago when he physically abused her younger sister and eventually ended up deserting the family. Even though Gabby was willing to forgive him and let him into her life, Sam struggled with being able to forgive him.

We get a lot of WTF??!!! revelations in this book and that’s what made this all the more enjoyable because it wasn’t so predictable.

FOREVER is LIVE and currently on sale for 99 cents.

Forever is the final book in the This series. It's like the epilogue of Bradley and Gabby's story and the whole story of Joe and Sam. The first half of the book is narrated by the two sisters, but after that the men take over for a while and they narrate some of it. It was pleasant for two reasons. A) We see some of Bradley's points of view which I don't think that needs any explaining as to why is good and B) It was easier to accept what Joe was thinking and why he was acting like he did.

I didn't read Forgiven in order to refresh things in my mind and that meant I didn't remember that Sam is in a relationship with Ryan, Joe;s brother. For me that was a fatal mistake because I had to read the first half of the book which was a HUGE LOVE TRIANGLE because Sam couldn't make the obvious decision. I hate two things in books, cheating and love triangles and I tend to avoid them. If I hadn't read the other books in the series I would have placed a lovely "I am not reading you" label on the book and be done with it.

One of the reasons I kept reading this book was Veronica and Ian. I know they weren't very good people, but after what happened to them, I couldn't help but feel ever more sympathetic than I made towards them. I wanted to see their happy ending and I was disappointed when they appeared for only a brief amount of time. I was sad when Gabby didn't even mention them in the epilogue. I wanted to see how they were fairing.

Overall, I am not sure how I felt about this book. It was the first book I managed to read after some time, but these two things mentioned above ruined things for me. Joe was one the best heroes (mostly) I had the pleasure to read about. Sam was a little over the place, but the others saved the day, I am loving this book to your judgement.

I am left speechless. I really don't know what to say about this book. We all know I am not the mushy love story gal. Not at all. But this book really had me hooked.

Let me back up. This isn't really a mushy book. There are mushy parts. There may be a couple parts where you might want to gag yourself with a spoon, but they help make the book.

This book goes back and forth between Bradley and Gabby's story and Joe and Sam's story. It was the perfect blend of angst and love to keep me reading until the end.

If you have read the previous books, you already have had a lot of Bradley and Gabby's story. Their parts in this story add to their story and Joe and Sam's. You can't get Joe and Sam's story without these other two characters.

And the twists? Well, I can't tell you the twists. They are quite delicious. They make the story more intriguing.

This book made me laugh, cry and swoon. I smiled. I growled. I might have cussed a time or two. And you read that right. There were a few tears. All is well though. This is the final book in the series... So that means you HEA lovers get your happily ever after. And boy is it ever!

Even if you haven't read the rest of this series, this one can be read on it's own. You get enough of these four characters that you will easily be able to follow the book. For all you romance lovers, this is definitely a book you should be picking up.

This story is about two sisters Samantha and Gabby. Samantha is the eldest and the one becoming a doctor. Gabby is married now to the wealthy Bradley Banks and she is in college. Both girls came from a tough background. You see their father was a drunk who had hit rock bottom to the point where he had struck Gabby.
Being the good mother she was when she walked in coming from the grocery store to see her husband striking Gabby she took the girls and left him never to return. When their mom dies of cancer when they were both still in high school Sam took up the mom role because it was only the two of them against the world. Gabby had a boyfriend who had become abusive and that didn’t sit well. She met Bradley at Cade’s wedding and it was love at first dance but when he saved her from Ian her life began and now they are happily married a year now.
Through Bradley, Sam met two brothers, Joe and Ryan. Ryan and she seemed to have more in common because they were both becoming doctors. He does and says all the right things until Joe declares how much he wants her. She tries to put him off calling it just brother rivalry or one-up-man-ship but she just doesn’t feel the passion Joe makes her feel on sight. Yet, his words light up her insides all the way to her feminine core. She finds herself thinking of Joe when she’s not with Ryan his brother.
For the holidays Bradley wants to surprise her sister with a trip to where they met. But he wants to make it a family tradition and wants her and Ryan to share the experience. She is excited by the trip because she and Ryan are due, though she is so tired from working long hours at the hospital, it will be nice since her and Ryan keep missing like ships in the night. Plus with the whole Joe thing it will reestablish her connection with the right brother for sure.
When she and Ryan arrive at Gabby and Bradley’s not only is Joe there but he’s brought a date. She is model perfect and not only that Ryan knows her too and the connection seems more that just in passing…Now her mind is wondering if he has had her too? Finding out more about her doesn’t put her at all at ease. When the overnight tradition ends they have all found out things about themselves and one another they may not have wanted to know. Now decisions need to be made about the brothers. Some of the things she learned are deal breakers, some are heart breaking, and others sexy as hell. So, what should Sam do? Can her decision cause an effect that changes all their lives forever? Will it be worth the effects in the end or will she end up losing all the men in her life she ever loved?
As for Gabby and Bradley they were able to make peace with Ian and Veronica. The way it all comes about is not the way anyone would have wanted it to be. Yet, putting the past behind them bringing only the best to their new family that they opened their lives and their home too. Would her mom understand that her promise was not forgotten that it was completed but in a way she could never have imagined?
I really enjoyed the characters in this story. The love triangle between the two brothers loving the same woman was an interesting one. Yet, the family saga that unfolds as the affair of the heart is revealed is beyond crazy and interesting. Of course loving family sagas this met all the needs: funny, love story, anger, fear, sadness, and so much more. I give this 5 stars. Provided by netgalley.com. Follow us at:

** ARC PROVIDED BY THE AUTHOR FOR AN HONEST REVIEW **

Forever is written in 4 different point of views. There is no violence but some great sexual scenes. The writing just speaks to you and its amazingly written.

Forever bring to play Sam a doctor dating Ryan. Along with Gabby, Bradley, Gabe, and Joe. They all try to figure out the obstacle of life with curve balls thrown in.

Sam is Gabby's sister. They grew up in a dysfunctional house hold, at least till there mother decided enough was enough. Now years later Gabby is able to let the past be that, but is Sam?

Ryan is dating Sam, they are both doctors and work crazy hours. Even though they have been dating for a little while some stuff just recently coming to light is not going to work for either. Joe is Ryan's brother, also he loves a woman he can't have.

Bradley is married to Gabby. They have a wonderful life. She is trying to get through design school while he is just trying to love his wife and move to the next step.

It's Christmas time, a time that should be bright and merry but instead it's a time when life throws them melon size curve balls.

This is definitely a 5 star read.

It's been so long since I have read Gabby and Bradley's story that I wasn't sure wether I would remember anything that happened in the previous books. I have to say though I felt like it just picked up where we left off the last time.

I have loved this series and this instalment was no different. There were a few times I was completely peeved at the way the story was going but other than that I loved it.

Sam really annoyed me at times, I felt she was being completely selfish and I wanted to scream at her to wise up and make the right choice!!

My heart broke for Joe most of the time in this story. I really wanted to reach in and give him a hug.

This story was full of twists and turns, J.B McGee kept us on our toes once again. Her writing was great and kept me hooked throughout! I loved how this was multiple pov, I felt like that added another dimension to the story and I loved hearing everyone's take on things.

I'm sad to see this series end but I'm delighted with how things were left off. I can't wait to see what J.B comes up with for her next book!!

I enjoyed the closure this book put on the series. Overall, I'm certain I would have enjoyed it considerably more had it not been 2.5 years since the 3rd book. That amount of time is simply too long. I don't remember the details of the rest of the series this far out. I'd reread, but too many books on my TBR list, and too little time. Not sure why there was such a lag, but very disappointing for readers.

Forever is the long-awaited continuation of J.B. McGee's fantastic and emotional This series. I have been waiting so long with great anticipation for this spectacular series finale and J.B. having finally shared it with us definitely did not disappoint. Although it has been quite a while since I last spent time with these characters, I was very quickly immersed back into their lives as the memories of their stories quickly flooded back into my mind and into my heart.

Forever gives us an amazing combination of two love stories. First we have Gabby and Brad. When last we were with them, they had finally made their way through the rough spots, gotten married and were beginning their life together. To that end, Bradley is adamant about wanting to create new traditions which include both of their families spending Christmas together. Bradley is also beginning to feel anxious to begin the process of expanding their own family leaving Gabby to wonder if the promises she had once made are truly what her heart wants.

Second, we are also given the dazzling and heart-stopping love story as Sam begins to feel the wavering and split of her heart between her boyfriend and his brother Joe. Though he seemingly makes ever part of her being flutter and tremble whenever he is near, Sam continues to be torn between staying in the relationship she feels is “safe” or finally letting the walls around her heart down and giving in to the wisdom and strength of her soul which continues to pull her to Joe. But when tragedy suddenly strikes their lives, will the unavoidable guilt tear them apart or will their hearts find their way back to the long-awaited love they had both hoped to find together, forever?

Forever is a beautifully written story with moments of laughter as well as tears of heartbreak, joy and love, not to mention the scorching passion shared between these two couples. J.B. McGee has once again given us an amazing story solidifying her place on my list of must read authors. Though Forever has been a long time coming, I am thrilled to finally have had the opportunity to read it and say adieu to these wonderful characters.

Although Forever is the finale of J.B. McGee’s This series, it can be read as a standalone as it does provide enlightenment with flashbacks to memories of the past. However, I believe this is such an incredible series that you will definitely not want pass up the opportunity to read all of the prior novels which include more of these characters and a deeper understanding of how they arrived at their Forever.

Why does it feel like we broke up when we were never together in the first place?

Wow, What an ending to a great series.

Blurb:
Tensions run high when Bradley rocks the boat of wedded bliss by inviting Gabe, Sam, Ryan, Joe, and their families to spend Christmas Day with Gabby and him.

Sam finds herself torn between the man she loves and the ones she thinks she doesn’t.

Will the rift between Gabby and Sam continue to spread? Will everyone be able to finally leave the past behind?

When tragedy strikes, will they realize everything is temporary except Forever?

Sam is dating Ryan however his brother Joe is causing some feelings that she is trying to brush off and ignore. Joe keeps pushing Sam’s buttons every chance he gets. Sam feels that Joe is a playboy and would only hurt her. I knew fairly early who I wanted her to choose.

I couldn’t help but wonder when/if Sam would follow her heart and finally make her choice. Also her father tries to get back in her life. He had really ruined their relationship years ago when he physically abused her younger sister and eventually deserted the family. Gabby was willing to forgive him and let him into her life, however Sam struggled with forgiving him.

I’m glad that Gabby and Bradley got their HEA.

“I’m gonna spend the rest of my life wherever you are. I won’t ever leave you again.”

This was a well-written ending to a great series.JB McGee really captures you with her writing. Forever can be read as a stand alone, however I suggest you start at the beginning of the series.

Forever is truly one of the best endings to a series I've ever had the pleasure to read. Although it's been quite a bit of time since we last heard from the This crew, I very happily fell right back in step with all of them, particularly Gabby and Bradley and it felt as if no time had passed.

You can tell right off the bat that JB McGee missed these characters as well. Her love for this family is evident throughout and she has remained true to each and every one of them as well. What I found so special from the very start with Broken and followed through to Forever is the flawless blend of sexy together with respect. Gabby and Bradley can't keep their hands off each other yet their continued exploration of their mutual wants and needs is presented so tenderly. But it's still wildly erotic in their own way and you can't help but swoon at the absolute devotion these two have for one another.

The story is juxtaposed right alongside that of Gabby's sister and her struggle to find her own HEA. She is torn between brothers Ryan and Joe and isn't sure where her heart will lead her. She has her own issues that need facing and her journey is beautifully told and fits perfectly with the newly-married life that her sister is now enjoying.

This was a well-written and substantial conclusion that I did not want to end truth be told. I've enjoyed every word of this series and appreciated how the author tied up loose ends without making it easy or over-the-top sweet and convenient.

It's a journey well worth your time. I didn't realize how much I have missed JB McGee's writing and am hopeful she is back for good.

A solid 5 stars with a recommendation you start at the beginning to get the entire story. You'll be very happy you did.

Bradley and Gabby are celebrating their first Christmas as husband and wife and have decided to invite both of their families and friends, along with their families, over for Christmas. Sam and Ryan have been dating for a while but Joe and Sam find themselves drawn to each other. Sam thinks Ryan is the safe choice and Joe does everything he can to try and convince her that he is the right one for her. We get glimpses at all four of them during this book and it was interesting to see how they each get what they wanted but have to fight for it. Gabby was still a little spoiled and idyllic in her thinking where Sam over-analyzed everything to death. Joe had his hands full trying to convince her that she was his soul mate and then a tragic accident caused him to almost throw it away. Sam was her usual self and when she committed, she went all out. Her trust was hard to gain, but once you had it it was there for life unless you caused her to re-think it. I liked Joe but found it hard to understand his pushing her away without even asking her if she wanted to get back with Ryan. Also his life-altering news that his mother finally confessed to was hard to comprehend at first. It all worked out in the end, but it did take him some time to get his head wrapped around the betrayal and move on. The fact he had no issue still seeking out and speaking with Bradley while leaving Sam in the dust was difficult to understand. The epilogue was well done and gave a nice glimpse into the future.

5 forever stars!! I loved the conclusion to this series!! I’m sad it’s over but it was finished beautifully!

I don’t want to ruin this story for anyone, so my review will be short and sweet!! I have missed these characters so much, so it was so nice to finally read the final book in the series!! I love the characters and the storyline is so beautiful. I’m sad this series is over, but it ended so well!!

It took us a while to get to Forever, but it was worth it!

I wouldn't be exaggerating when I say that I have been waiting, and waiting for the conclusion to This amazing series; but as the saying goes, all good things are so worth the wait, and This was no exception. It was really quite brilliant to put everyone's story into one great read. There was drama and angst in abundance, and family dysfunction galore, and boy was it fun! Seeing how Bradley and Gabbie's married life evolved was so precious; and finally getting to see Sam happy was perfection. Thank you J.B. for waiting until you knew that This would be perfect!

While I enjoyed this entire series, and I still find Bradley, and now Joe both enjoyable and delicious. I was some what disappointed that we did not get more of Ian and Veronica's story. I know that they were not always the most likeable of characters, but after everything they went through I wanted to know more about their story as well. That is my only complaint, I realise instead of writing three more books, the author decided to put everything into one last book, but we were short changed on the second part of Veronica and Ian's story. Other than that well worth the wait. 4.25 Stars

Well I read it as a stand alone and must say I was surprised with how many characters we get to have in the series, I am going to consider reading the rest. I enjoyed it quite a bit, first part of the book thought it dragged a little, but the second half flow. This is my first book by JB McGee but certainly won't be the last. If you have read the series I think you will find it as a great finale, you get to read about other characters and have a closure you might wanted for a while.

For a series I haven't read the other three books of I fell in love with the characters and know I have to go back and read the other books. This story was outstanding and grabbed my from the beginning to the end. Although there where times I was mad at the characters I understood in the end why they had to happen the way they did. Outstanding read by a wonderful writer

5 stars. I absolutely love this series and this was a beautiful addition and ending. I loved Gabby and Bradley from the very beginning and I'm so glad they got the happy ending they so deserved. This is a must have buy it you won't be disappointed.

Forever was the perfect end to the This Series. We get to see Sam's story unfold while watching Gabby and Bradley continue their love story as both sisters work to come to terms with the past. Oh, and the sex is HOT! You don't want to miss this story!

I have loved this series and couldn't wait for this end. Couldn't have wanted it written any other way. Thank you for a great family.
