Can love and trust be given a second chance?
Coming out of a relationship where she was cheated on for most of it, Claudia Bothmann swears she will never trust or get involved with another man again. What she didn’t count on was Matt Dawson. After spending an evening together and swearing to herself that it was just ‘one night’, Claudia finds herself constantly struggling with the ‘let’s be friends’ saying and wonders “what if’ instead.
Matt Dawson hasn’t had a relationship in over six years after his ex treated him abysmally. He swore he would never give his heart to anyone ever again. Plus, it’s not just him he has to think about and protect anymore.
With both Claudia and Matt on the same page they agree to stop fighting what they feel and give things a go, until Claudia realises that Matt has been keeping something from her. Hurt that he lied to her but surprised by what he is asking, she asks for time to wrap her head around the situation. Gutted that he messed up Matt agrees, but then, tragedy strikes.

I was given this book for an honest review
First off I have to say if you haven't read any of Kate Zarebski books you need to. I could not put this book down I was hooked from page one ......
This book is about second chances is it possible to trust and love again.....
Claudia has just come out of a relationship and is not looking for another one after all who needs or wants to be cheated on, can you ever trust men ......
Matt hasn't been involved with a woman for many years, his ex treated him badly and he is not sure if he will ever trust enough to love again .....
Sparks fly between these two but will they both give into their feelings or will it just be a drunken one night stand .......
Matt and Claudia both have trust issues but there are also secrets that need to be told and these need to be told sooner rather than later or time may run out for this couple.
I love second chance love stories and this book did not disappoint. It has so much going for it, learning to trust your heart not your head, a secret that could break this relationship before it really began, some very hot sex, some humor and no cliffhanger.......

***I received an ARC for an honest review, but have also purchased the book to support a local author.***
K. Zarebski has done it again with her 2nd instalment in The Safe series. This time it is Matt and Claudia who are at the forefront whilst we still see Connor and Ari they are the secondary characters here. However they are not any less important we see more character development with them, particularly with Conner.
The relationship between Claud and Ari reminds me very much of the one I have with my sister, the scene over a clean nurses uniform was spot on.
I will admit I love Matt and Claudia because I met them in the first book in the series, The Safe and am glad they are getting their stories heard.
I don't give any spoilers in my reviews but the added twist of Mazie is brilliant she adds a lightness to the book.
K. certainly knows how to write a good kinky seen and with the holy hotness that is Matt I am right there along with Claud on 'Planet Matt'. Couple great writing, excellent characters and an engaging and realistic plot, I highly recommend this book, The Safe series and K. Zarebski to anyone looking for a new voice in this genre.

The Key is the second part in the Safe Series. This book focuses on Matt and Claudia's story who we met briefly in The Safe . Meeting them both in The Safe you just knew there was something there between them . So this book is a must read for anyone who has read The Safe . This book certainly doesn't disappoint. Don't worry ladies , you'll still get to read about Connor and Ari considering they are both best friends to Matt and Claudia .
Matt hasn't been in a relationship with a woman for a long time , his ex-girlfriend treated him badly but as their relationship came to an end , gave him the best gift he could of asked for , his daughter .
Claudia was hurt in the past by her ex-boyfriend . How many times would she let her heart be broken by his betrayal . Love is not love if you can't trust the ones you love .
Both with trust issues' scan they both be the key to each other's hearts?
Another five star read from Kate and I really can't wait to read the third in this series . Kate has a rare talent for grabbing your attention from the start and not letting you go until the end . Congratulations on what is an awesome series .

WOW.... I absolutely loved this book!!!! The second book in The Safe series and it certainly didn't disappoint. We met Matt and Claud in the first book and this is their story.... two people hurt from past relationships can they both be 'The Key' to each others happiness??
I loved the main characters Matt and Claud and the chemistry between them is blazing hot. Both are unsure about how quickly things are moving but are desperately attracted to each other and can't hold back. I won't spoil it but this book as some fabulous little plot twists that I loved.
I finished this book in one sitting, as I just had to keep reading and reading. The characters are brilliantly written, the support characters are great and the twists and turns made me want to finish the book rather than Sleep.
I have followed and loved this authors unique english writing style for a while and with each book, I feel K Zarebski is getting better and better and more confident, which is excellent.
I literally can't wait for the 3rd and final book in this series....... Bring It!!!!

My favourite story by K . Zarebski.
Sweet, sexy and exciting story about sparkling love, strong feelings and second chances.
Claudia was hurt in the past and doesn't want to hear anything about men. She swore she won't date anytime soon after her last broken relationship. Yet she feels very strong attraction to her best friend boyfriend's buddy Matt.
Matt has been hurt really badly in the past too and doesn't want anything else than sex from the opposite gender... but everytime he meets Claudia he feels the sparks and can't deny his growing feelings for her.
Is it too early for Claud and Matt to start relationship after all that they've been through?

Let 'The Key' unlock your heart.
This is a story of second chances. It is also book 2 of a 3 book series. We have a chance to meet Matt and Claudia in book 1, The Safe. Matt and Claudia have each suffered from a broken heart and neither one is willing to take a chance on loving someone again. They are both happy to have a one night stand though. So after having a few to many drinks at the local pub one night with their best friends they end up going home together. After having a fantastic night they try to go their separate ways but eventually they accept there is a connection. Unbeknownst to both of them, they each have a big secret. Will those secrets be to huge to overcome? Will they get together or go their separate ways? I loved the twists and turns in this story and can't wait for the third book to be released.

What a ride in this series. This is number 2, nice to read more about some of the chacters..
A beautiful romantic story of two soul who have been hurt in the past. Twists and turns leading them to drama, sex appeal, friendship and love for each other. Claudia and Matt have friendships with characters from the first book. This is how it's starts. Thru out their story the chemistry grows and grows. They both need to learn to love unconditionally. You are my key to my heart. Yes my key if you let it be. Read their story to see if the key fits????
