This is a book for you to read if you like western romance.It's well writen and a fast read that you don't want to put down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A fiery Scot and a hunky rancher add up for some fun in Brenda Jernigan's latest release, Western Seduction. Fleeing her home country and her abusive father, Shannon is hungry for adventure in America's frontier. She answers an ad for a nanny and is immediately hired based on the answers she gave on the application. But when she shows up on Luke's doorstep and he discovers she is not old and hardy like he wanted, he's ready to send her back east. But the stage has already left, so he's stuck with for a month. And so are his rascal children. The only person not complaining is Shannon. Despite Luke's rough edges and the children tricks, on Luke's ranch, raising his kids and in his arms is where Shannon wants to be.
This is a fun, fast-paced story set on a sprawling ranch in Texas. Due to his frail wife's death, Luke has been living in guilt, building up his ranch and neglecting his children. There's a lot of love buried in his heart, but he just doesn't have the strength, or courage, to let it out until Shannon comes along. She is exactly what he needs; a strong, sassy, caring woman capable of getting him to face and overcome his demons. She's also what Luke's children need; someone to match them trick-for-trick while patiently teaching them their ABC's. Luke and the children are the family Shannon has always longed for. Toss in two villains, a stampede and the children's antics, then step back in time and enjoy a story sure to have you laughing and cheering and falling in love.

Fabulous book! A fiesty Scot always makes for a fun read, then add a hot, hot, hot sexy cowboy and whoa mama!! (Can you tell I like? Lol) Shannon has a lot to prove to Luke if she's gonna stay on his ranch and take care of his two young children. This really is a wonderfully fun book to read. Lots a action and adventure to keep you involved. I'm reading book #1 in this series next, and can't wait for book #3, by Brenda Jernigan.

What first stands out in this book is how clear it is that the author has done her research on the Old West and captured it exactly.

Western seduction/jernigan
The story was entertaining and intriguing to read to see the outcome of two people who was dealt a raw deal in life, and through faith finding each other. There is an adjustment to make between two people one from Scotland , the other from america, in texas. It's a book to read on a cold night with nothing else to do.

Great story
I really enjoyed this book! Great characters and a wonderful cowboy hero! Add in a taste of history, an evil parent and two hooligan children makes for such a fun read!

Encouraging
Shannon is a breath of fresh air with her fire and speaking her mind but has has a big heart. Luke with the loses he has gone through needed a challenge and she gave it to him. I recommend this book it was well written it Kerry on intrested.

Cute story...
With likeable characters. The characters made you want to read more. It stops sort of abruptly but it didn't take away from the story.

I enjoyed this historical western romance very much. There was a touch of suspense included in the story too, which made the tale all the more exciting. Shannon McKinley flees Scotland to escape her brutal father and his intent to marry her to one of his cronies. She applies for the post of nanny for a widower’s two small children in the small town of Cottonwood, Texas. The first surprise was that the children’s father, Luke Griffin, was a handsome man who made Shannon’s heart sing and the second surprise was that the redheaded beautiful Shannon made Luke’s heart sing despite his reluctance to get involved in a relationship. The rest of the tale was as endearing as the two children who were missing their natural mother and were suspicious of another nanny (the previous six didn’t last long enough to make a good impression), but gradually learned lessons and manners and to respect Shannon. This was a very satisfying romance.
