Following a plan developed by a young naval officer, Allied forces attack from Poland, the Black Sea and the Pacific. Using technology from satellites to drones, he pushes the Russian forces from all sides. Ultimately the Russian people must decide to continue or end the war.Hunter Goforth is a retired naval officer who served on a variety of ships including a battleship. He is currently the director of a nonprofit in Charlotte, NC., and writes in his spare time.
On occasion I feel sorry for author's that are forced to use Kindle to have their work digitized. Mr. Go Forth, you are very creative and deserve more respect than Amazon provides.
Good plot, well-developed characters (some a bit larger than life, but totally refreshing). Wish the country, the world could pick things up somewhere near the way the book ended and build on that. Being an old 105 howitzer soldier (81 yrs old, Army Guard), was glad to see the use of the old vessels and equipment combined with the modern. Sorry to see the typos and grammar lapses, but those were not nearly as pronounced and distracting as in other recently read books.
Dear Readers, Firstly I must say that in-flight tempered steel many years ago, not ever knowing about the follow up books, I just wonder if there could be a fourth? The whole series is well written and researched, the characters reappear and develop further, the main characters have developed well and extensively, each of the three books so far have shown clear plot lines, with devious people in charge. Most interesting is the term limits idea for both Congress and the Senate. Great books and great characters, any chance of another two or three?
Without a doubt the best story of its kind I’ve ever read. My only criticism is the spell check. I’m sure that “when the fir flies” it should have been “when the fur flies.” There a few more, but it didn’t spoil a good story
