A bold declaration of faith, 41 Will Come is a shot of encouragement and hope for all of us who desperately need to God is with you. Your story is not over. You are not defeated.
In the Bible, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. 41 came and the rain stopped. The people of Israel wandered the wilderness for 40 years. 41 came and a new generation entered their Promised Land. For 40 days Goliath bullied Israel and taunted anyone to fight him. 41 came and David slew Goliath.
Do you see the theme? Don't quit. Don't give up. Perhaps you're stuck in a downpour or lost in one of life's deserts. Maybe you're facing someone or something that could take you down. You might feel stuck on your journey . . . but day 41 is on its way.
No matter how long your battle--days, weeks, or years--Chuck E. Tate offers you seven keys to help you hang onto the promise and the truth that God will come through for you.
Chuck Tate is the founder and lead pastor of RockChurch, a growing and thriving congregation in the heart of Illinois. Prior to planting RockChurch in 1998, Chuck worked for a national youth ministry in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In that role, he managed and spoke at conventions across the United States and Canada, and co-produced a national television program that aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network. Chuck and his wife, Annette, are the parents of Savannah and Ashton. 41 Will Come is his first book.

I am not yet finished with this book, but just have to say this....GET THIS BOOK!!! It is such an eye-opening book...it meets you where you are and speaks to you with out "talking down to you"..it is real, at times sad, other times funny, all the time encouraging. Anyone who might be in their own 40 days, waiting for that 41 will be most definitely encouraged, but it has a message for everyone. The chapters in this book are so packed with encouragement and "good stuff" that i have read most of them more than once and have highlights everywhere. Keep your highlighter handy and prepare to be encouraged and up lifted!
I'm reviewing the first chapter and will update when I've read the rest. Pastor Chuck Tate is a brilliant evangelist, and this book is written so beautifully, I can hear his voice speaking the words. I can't wait to finish the book, and recommend it to everyone I know. My only regret about leaving Peoria, Illinois was leaving Rockchurch, a move that was inspired by one of Pastor Chuck's sermons. This book brings Pastor Chucks's words to life, in a book format where they can reach anyone in the world. This book will bless you. Pre-order it now.
Tate tells a solid story about not giving up, and giving things over to God. The number "40" is prominent in the Bible; Jesus temptation in wilderness going on for 40 days, Moses running from the crime of killing the Egyptian for 40 years, and the Israelites wandering the desert for 40 years to name just a few. But when 41 rolls around we ought all pay attention. A few rather miraculous stories and solid Biblical preaching are evident throughout.
Very cheesy, not as theologically in depth as I had hoped. The title referenced a super interesting idea of the Bible always using the number 40 but then you never get to see any idea of why it’s just like cheesy Christian encouragement which for some is awesome, just wasn’t what I was looking for. Last chapter was good though I will say, certain books can draw emotions in a different way than movies or tv.
The title is what I felt as I read 41 Will Come. As I read, sometimes the rain would fall nice and steady, other times it felt like torrential.
I loved the stories. They were humorous and very relatable. Many times throughout the book, I stopped and thanked God for the life He’s given me.
Chuck did a great job illustrating the importance of remaining steadfast during difficult times. This read is packed full of biblical wisdom, delivered in a way, I’ve never seen before. It’s refreshing and new.
Clearly noted and repeated throughout the book, is the seven points: Know Your Enemy, Embrace Your Cause, Smash Fear, Shake off Doubters, Prepare to Receive, Word Up, and Attack.
I took my time reading each section, as there was so much to absorb. This is a book I’ll read over again, most likely getting more depth with each reading.
It’s clear that Chuck lived the message before penning the words. I highly recommend this read as it will give you hope and life.
When I first read the introduction I knew this was going to be something God was going to use in my life. I've had issues I've struggled with my whole life. Maybe God was going to open my eyes about one of those issues. Little did I know that this book was going to help me go through one of the hardest challenges of my life.
I would HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone! Mr. Tate's writing style is wonderful and the personal stories he tells are great! He's funny, encouraging, and heartfelt. This is the author's first book and I'm positive it's not going to be his last. Grab a copy! I promise you won't regret it.

I have no idea about this book until my partner found this in a thrift bookstore. He bought if for me and I felt blessed cause I have learned a lot and I became more grateful on how God changes my life. It will teach you not to give up despite of struggles we have in life so we have to be strong. I have learned that we have to be prepared all the time cause sometimes it will rain on your parade. We are currently on a physical world where we can win or lose and both are never ending. If we win, we have to continue to win, if we lose, we have to find ways on how to defeat those failures in life.
I absolutely LOVED 41 will come. Life can throw you curve balls that you never expected to happen and it can be hard to not lose hope and give up. This book is the book you need to read if you are feeling sad, hopeless, and like giving up on life in general. I literally could not put it down and re-read it already because I loved it so much. This book will make you laugh big belly laughs and tear up and the real life instances of 41. This book was a game changer for me and I know already it will be game changer for lots others too.
41 will come is a fantastic book and a must read! Once you start reading it is very hard to put the book down. Mr. Tate offers great advice while waiting for your 41. He lets us know that there is hope and with God all things are possible. I really liked the last chapter when he talked about when 41 doesn't come! If you are going through a tough time, or need some encouragement, pick this book up!
I'll keep my review short and sweet. Read this book. In fact, read it more than once. Pastor Chuck E. Tate's "41 Will Come" is a treasure-trove of stories about real people overcoming impossible odds in today's challenging world. I truly believe the whole world needs to read this book. No spoilers here, so snuggle up with your favorite beverage and enjoy all that "41 Will Come" has to offer by way of its heaping, mountains of Hope and Humor. You'll be glad you did.
For anyone who has ever felt discouraged by life’s detours, Pastor Chuck offers a refreshing and humorous reminder that God’s map of destinations for our lives are better than the ones we create for ourselves. His biblical, as well as personal stories, offer encouragement in knowing that hope is always just around the next corner if we are brave enough to hold on and make the turn.
Amazing! This is they type of book where you start reading it and can't put it down! This book has humor and sad parts (have your tissues ready.) This book shows the amazing and faithfulness of Gods work! If your going through a tough season of life, this book is for you!
This is a great book full of examples of God coming through for His people. Loved reading it. You could hear Chuck's love for God and love for people in all the words of the book. Recommend this one to EVERYONE!
I got this book on my 41st birthday. It was very inspiring with lots of good stories. Some humor and sadness mixed in too. I honestly had never heard of day 41 or year 41 being a time of victory or recovery from adversity. It certainly has been so far for me. I had wanted to be in our new church’s worship community this year and had begun talking to the worship pastor about it in February. He said typically he has people wait 6 months. Right after my 41st birthday, the worship pastor and I got together and wrote a song and it’s so great! Then this past weekend my wife and I led worship at the church. This was the first time I have led worship in a formal corporate church service since 2013 - 7 years. It was really really great to recover that opportunity that I did almost every Sunday from 1998 to 2013! The other thing this book inspired me to do was to study for the Fundamentals of Engineering exam for 40 days and take it on day 41. I don’t know if I will pass because I did not go to college for Engineering, but my education and experience qualifies me to be able to take the exam. Since starting to work in Engineering I have dreamed of becoming an Engineer, like my grandfather who graduated from MIT with a Mechanical Engineering degree and was an engineer and executive at IBM. I’ll post an update after the exam!
Are you in a season of waiting? Is life hard and you want to give up? Then let me recommend the book, 41 Will Come by Chuck Tate. The number 40 is a significant number in the Bible; it usually involves a time of waiting or testing. Chuck points on in his book, that the number 41 is also significant. For example, the people of Israel wandered the wilderness for 40 years and on Year 41, they entered the Promised Land. Jesus was tempted and fasted in the desert for 40 days and on Day 41, He launched His ministry. The breakthrough happens on Day 41 or Year 41. Chuck’s book encourages us to hold on and stand strong, your 41 Will Come! I highly recommend this book.

I’m a stroke survivor with diabetes, high blood pressure, psoriatic arthritis. I’ve lost over a hundred pounds and I still weigh too much. I’ve had multiple surgeries and almost died from COVID. God has made me a miracle. I have tattoos that represent personal milestones. I’ve been saying for months that my next tattoo was going to be a 41 with a rainbow over it. I had scheduled my appointment and was telling my preacher friend about it and he said, “Really? I’m about to start a series about that very idea! You know there’s a book about it?” Wow! The book confirms a series of 41s in my life. If you believe that you are writing on something, don’t give up. Read this book.
I had high expectations about this book…. it turned out to be very, very, VERY disappointing. A compilation of stories is fine, i get that, but why the heck would every story end with “use this hashtag and that hashtag and tag me online”? You think Jesus was refreshing his feed on Twitter and going “Man they better tag me when they done reading this book” 🤦♀️ I couldn’t even finish it, i don’t see why anyone would.

This is one of the most faith filled books I’ve read in a long time. I loved every second of it and was absolutely blown away by Chuck’s writing, stories and perspective.
I just finished reading Yes after a several month break. I really enjoyed it and thought it really encouraged my faith and gave some great examples of the power of God. I highly recommend this.
We read this book for a book club and we all enjoyed it very much. Chuck is an excellent storyteller. His love for God and his belief in the face of struggles is contagious. Would highly recommend!
41 Will Come: Holding On When Life Gets Tough--and Standing Strong Until a New Day Dawns is filled with stories, both Biblical and personal, that will bring encouragement, especially if your are losing hope during a personal time of 40. I did not know what to expect when I agreed to read the book, but I am so glad that I did agree. I was not going through a particularly discouraging time, but a frustrating time. These many reminders that 41 DOES come gave me both lifted my spirit and served as a reminder of many other 41 moments in my life.
The 7 keys Tate writes about are the following:
Know your enemy Know your cause Smash fear in the mouth Shake off doubts and doubters Prepare in order to receive a payoff Word up Attack
His explanations of each will bring a greater depth of understanding. Some of the stories he tells are moving, and some made me laugh. I am glad this book was written and will recommend it to others.

41 Will Come, the first book written by pastor, Chuck E. Tate, will encourage you as you walk through life's tough trials!
The number 40 is frequently mentioned in the Bible in connection with trials that someone is experiencing; however, we do not often consider that the number 41 is right around the corner!
Chuck Tate sets out seven steps to help you move from fear to faith and from indecision to action, when facing your trial.
1. Know your enemy. 2. Embrace your cause. 3. Smash fear in the mouth. 4. Shake off your doubts and doubters. 5. Prepare in order to receive a payoff. 6. Word Up! Read, study and declare the Word of God! 7. Attack the giant standing between you and your victory!
Even though this book did not read easily for me at times, the message of this book came through loud and clear on every page! God alone is our best defense through the trials that threaten to keep us from His purpose for our lives!
