From New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal best-selling author of The Beauty Series comes The Lovibond Collection––a series of stand alone novels.

Craft beer and the sexy men who brew it. Both, always a good idea.

A faceless name. That’s all she was when I agreed to play a part in deceiving her. But then the unplanned happened.

We met. And all I wanted from her was a dirty weekend . . . until that wasn’t enough and I longed for so much more.

Lawrence Thorn suddenly means the world to me. And that’s a problem. She’s my business partner’s sister. Forbidden fruit. Pursuing her can mean trouble for me at Lovibond Brewery. But I don’t care.

I yearn for her skin against mine.
I crave her smell on my body.
I want to make her laugh and then hear her moan my name.
And she does for a brief moment in time.

But Lawrence wants more than I’m able to give. And it’s a damn shame because there’s no one on earth I want more than her.

An epic love.
A miserable ending.
Unless it’s not.

TAP is the first book in a collection of Lovibond stand alone novels.
Each novel will feature a different couple.
No cliffhangers.

TITLE: Tap
SERIES: (Lovibond, #1)
AUTHOR: Georgia Cates
GENRE: Contemporary Romance
RELEASE DATE: January 11th 2016

MY RATING: 4 STARS

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Don't hate the rater for my 4 star review, I (and this is just me being honest) prefer her gritty, darkish novels, I did enjoy this don't get me wrong but for me my preference are the sit on the edge of my seat books this author has given me in the past..BUT you can always count on Georgia Cates to bring us a unique story like no other and this book here is as unquie as they come, I'm not a beer drinker *shudders* but damnit this made me want to race to the closest pub for a beer on tap..

It all starts off innocent enough, until it isn't..

TAP: starts off with (Stout) Ollie, Taps business partner coming to him for help he's been done for DUI and has to do a stint in rehab, not a problem right, what is a problem though is that Ollie has asked that Tap impersonate him via text messages to his sister whilst he does his time..

I need you to be me while I'm gone, you won't have to talk to Lawry, I just need you to pacify her with daily texts.

Yet again not a problem..BUT here we have Tap who hates texting, has never met or spoken to Ollie's sister before, has no clue what she looks like, so putting it bluntly he's pretty much up shits creek without a paddle..

Motherf*cker. It's her again - the relentless texter. It's Sunday doesn't she ever give it a rest?

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

One call, one voice mail, three texts

If this were a woman I'd f*cked. She'd officially be blocked by now.

So because Tap sucked at sticking to his side of the bargain, by texting daily or even returning texts Lawry pretty much turns up at their brewery festival..
As you can expect this is going to create a shit storm..

Lies & Deceit

"Tap" Lucas Broussard is the perfect epitome of an all round sexy alpha male

I went along with Stout’s plan when Lawrence Thorn was some faceless person I didn’t know and would likely never meet. But now I have met her.
And I like her.
I’m interested.
I want to know her better.

She’s Stout’s sister. He’s my partner. And she’s still off limits.

She’s Stout’s sister. Forbidden fruit. He told me so. I said I wouldn’t touch her but I did anyway. My promise became a lie—another fucking lie. Deceit has never been in my nature but I couldn’t help myself. And now I don’t want to stop.

Tap is a good friend, but he doesn’t always treat women well. I’m looking out for you by discouraging a relationship with him. ~ Stout

Told in dual POV, 1st person, it’s the first installment in the "Men of Lovibond" series and can be read as a standalone. Once upon a time I loved reading her books and with this one, despite not loving it, but still it was enjoyable. It’s angst-free with no drama and in general an easy read. Albeit I should add the second half dragged a bit maybe because it became repetitive, nothing happened. Overall, I had fun reading it and hope you like it as well!

This was my first book by this author and it won't be my last! This series is about three men who own a brewing company! In Book one we meet Tap who is a man whore! He has his reasons though, and when I found out why he had walls up that were a mile high, I could totally understand. When he comes across his business partners sister though; all bets are off! He's attracted to her right off the bat, and suddenly the rules he has created for his world are wiped away! Will he be able to fall in love? Will he also convince his partner that he is good for Stout's sister???

I enjoyed this book, my only issue at first was it took me sometime to become invested in the main couple. Once I did though, I was hooked... I look forward to what the other business partners books will be like! There is not only steam in this story but an emotional story as well. It may be a bit of insta- love but there are hurdles to overcome... There is definitely a journey that the couple has to go on before they can even think about having a future together!!

"Tap" is a great beginning to what promises to be an amazing series!!

Pass me a cold brew because Georgia Cates has me downing and devouring her newest release, TAP. As a big fan of Ms. Cates, I couldn't wait to get my hands on TAP and let me just say that Ms. Cates DELIVERED big time in her newest sexy romance series.

photo 9587559ac1d610e371469301182f81_zps9mqeondr.gif “It feels like a wall is crumbling around me. It’s scary as hell but I like it.I want her so bad I can’t stand it. I’m risking my friendship with Stout. My business relationship. Maybe even my livelihood. And I don’t care. She’s worth the gamble. I’m going all in.”

TAP was the perfect blend of steam, romance, and friendship!!!!! This book had it all to satisfy my wants in a well-balanced love story. Ms. Cates had readers like myself salivating as she introduces Lucas Broussard and his two business brewery partners, Oliver Thorn and Porter Beckman.

Tap

Lucas Broussard is your typical successful entrepreneur. He loves his job, friends and family including his ex-wife and her husband, who happens to be his best friend. While others may think that it's weird and strange that he is best friends with his ex-wife, but Lucas doesn't care what others think. All that matters to him is that his ex-wife will always be one of his best friends no matter what. But after his marriage to Bridgette ended in divorce, Lucas doesn't want to get married again and he makes it known as he is somewhat a manwhore. So when his business partner, Oliver Thorn asked him to do a big favor, Lucas never expected that this one favor would have him falling head over heels for Oliver's older sister, Lawrence Thorn.

photo 9587559ac1d610e371469301182f81_zps9mqeondr.gif “Wren in her sliced and diced Lovibond shirt yesterday was beautiful. Wren in her skimpy cami and shorts last night was sexy. But Wren post orgasm, wearing a smile so tender and sated, is stunning. Magnificent. She makes me breathless. And . . . hard again already.”

Lawrence Thorn loves her brother, Oliver. She would do anything for him. She was the one always looking out for her baby brother since they both had a rough childhood and had horrible parents who loved the drugs more than them. So when Oliver and Lawrence were taken into the foster care system and adopted by a loving family, Oliver and Lawrence finally knew what LOVE looked liked. Lawrence and Oliver are each other's best friends and are constantly texting and calling each other on the phone. So when Lawrence didn't hear from her brother, she decided to pay him a visit. While in town, Lawrence finds herself wildly attracted to Lucas Broussard.

#Tap1

Surprise to see Lawrence in town, Lucas knew he had to keep Oliver's secret so he had to distract Lawrence. Well as it turns out, it didn't take much to distract her because Lucas ended up being distracted with Lawrence and her quirky and bright personality. Lucas suddenly found himself wanting Lawrence. He tried to stay away and resist since she was his business partner's sister but Lucas couldn't. One kiss was all it took for Lucas to be drunk on Lawrence Thorn.

As Lucas and Lawrence began their relationship while keeping Oliver in the dark, Lucas found himself opening up to Lawrence. He shared with her that he still maintains a deep friendship with his ex-wife and her family. While others might find it strange, Lawrence embraced the fact that his ex-wife, Bridgette is a good person and an amazing friend to Lucas. She didn't get jealous of their friendship at all. As Lucas and Lawrence's relationship begins to deepen, Lawrence begins to want more of a committed relationship. She wanted marriage and children but Lucas didn't. So what happens when Lawrence decides that she wants more? Can Lucas give Lawrence the commitment that she aches for?

photo 9587559ac1d610e371469301182f81_zps9mqeondr.gif “Your love drowns all my demons.”

TAP was indeed the perfect blend of romance done right!!!! This book had enough hops to stir a whirlwind mixture of love, friendship, second chances, and new beginnings. I absolutely adore this book because it was deliciously sweet and sexy!!! As always, Ms. Cates seduces her readers with her sinfully sexy prose while still maintaining a love story that will warm our hearts. So if you are looking for a book, that will have you drunk on love then I highly recommend you to read TAP by Georgia Cates.

-There are far too many ordinary things in life. Love shouldn't be one of them.

 photo F7462646-FBFD-42C0-BE66-AF954FB99727_zpswgbtemtm.jpg

Lucas Broussard aka TAP is a 29 yr. old gorgeous Cajun guy from Louisiana. After buying into the Lovibond Brewery about four years ago, Lucas & his two partners have become extremely wealthy. Now living in Birmingham, Alabama, Lucas stays very busy with work, family, friends, & the single life. He doesn't do commitments with women. One night is all he is willing to give. He has been through a lot in his past & his heart is unavailable.

 photo F3FAC033-6918-4D19-B927-CDE7F1440E91_zpserpugndr.jpg

When his business partner Oliver gets into a bit of trouble, he asks Lucas to cover for him with his sister Lawry. This puts Lucas in an uncomfortable position since he's never met her & now has to interact with her. Lucas thinks he can just tell her a few white lies, but when she shows up out of the blue in Birmingham things get complicated. Lucas is stunned by how gorgeous Lawry is. She's this beautiful free spirited blonde who he has an insane attraction for from the first moment he lays eyes on her, & the feeling is mutual for Lawry. She wants this man with the sexy Cajun accent & the beard. He's just delicious!

 photo 5A0285B2-64EC-4AD3-A057-796923EA7155_zpsa6w2odlq.jpg

The problem is Lawry is considered off limits. Her brother has always made it clear she is forbidden to his business partners. Lucas doesn't want to risk his friendship or work relationship with Oliver. Lucas tries to entertain Lawry while she's in town & keep things platonic, but neither can resist the chemistry between them. Just as things start to heat up, Lawry has to return home to Savannah, Georgia where she owns a boutique.

 photo 131151F8-9E46-4476-93C4-3D834F6CA4D0_zpszyxrc3un.jpg

They feel a strong connection, but both decide a long distance relationship wouldn't work. As they are apart they both miss each other terribly. This is the first time Lucas has wanted something more with a woman. Lucas makes the decision to pursue her & go after what he wants, but that's easier said than done. He's absolutely obsessed with her, & they both fall hard for one another, but when he lets his tragic past & fears dictate his future, & is unwilling to compromise this causes issues for the couple. Lawry is a strong, independent woman who won't settle for anything less than what she deserves & she wants the fairytale! This was a fabulous love story I really enjoyed & I look forward to Oliver & Porter's books up next! :D

Lets get into the point. I can not connect with the heroine. At all. I do not understand her so called bohemian character. I also do not understand why the hero so scared about dating the heorine. Yes he made promise to her brother not to date his sister. Its suppose to be forbidden. For what reason it is forbidden??

I listen about 60% of the book and i give up. I hate shelfting book under DNF.

Tap reminded me why I’ve always loved romance novels. It’s romance at its purest form and with such a well-balanced mix of friendship and love; you couldn’t help but fall in love with every word. It’s rare for me to find a book that holds everything I crave most when reading, but Tap did it for me. It isn’t just ‘a romance novel’, really, but rather a journey of two soul mates finding each other when they most need that connection. A second chance at a life that they never were brave enough to chase and with an interwoven mix of friendships, this story makes you feel as if you’re riding front seat with them and not just reading a story. Georgia Cates has made a forever reader out of me and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

I love to lose myself in a proper love story and this had the lot - the forbidden allure of his best mate's gorgeous and quirky sister, a well paced attraction and hot smut with likeable characters and plenty going on. To my delight, nobody did anything stupid or out of character and, even though the angsty bit made my gut roil with stress for a bit, it's great to be so invested in a story to be affected that much. I actually relished that delicious little bite of angst. I've really enjoyed this.

Complete story. Recommended.

~ 5 Brewery Stars ~

Well miss Georgia Cates has done it again!!!

Tap is the first book in her new Lovibond Brewery Series. It is a great start and I am so looking forward to reading the other books in this series. Tap is a standalone contemporary romance. It is a forbidden love story of a man falling in love with his best friend's sister.

As with all of Georgia's books, she sucked me into this one and held on until I reached the end. I was rooting for Lucas and Wren (Lawrence) throughout the whole book. I found the type of story (the forbidden part) similar to others I have read before, but what made this so different and interesting was the background the three guys have in a brewery business. I haven't read that kind of story before. Another reason I love Georgia's writing so much, is because she gives us such great and relatable characters. You honestly feel like you could fit right into their lives.

In Tap we meet Lucas Broussard (Brou) and Lawrence Thorn (Wren). These two characters couldn't more different if they tried but some how they just fit together. Lucas is a part owner of Lovibond Brewery with Oliver Thorn (Wren's brother) and Porter Beckman. They have owned and operated the brewery for four years now and things couldn't be going better. That is until Oliver gets into some trouble and needs Lucas's help. This is where he meets Wren. What started out as a small deception turns into a budding romance. The only probably is Lucas lives in Birmingham and Wren lives in Savannah. So not only is distance a problem but Lucas has some serious demons he needs to overcome. Will these two be able to work out the differences in distance and will Lucas be able to overcome all his demons to give Wren what she really wants??? You'll need to read this book to find out those answers ;)

We also meet some secondary characters in this story. Stout (Oliver) and Porter, the business partners and also Kelsey and Liv, Wren's BFF's. These four characters were great to meet and add some comic relief when needed. I look forward to reading more about them in future books.

So if you are a fan of Georgia's then I would say you need to read this book because you already know how great it's going to be, but if you are a new reader to Georgia and are a fan of the forbidden romance, then I would 100% recommend this book to any reader!!! Pick this book up….you won't be sorry!!!!

:: 4 Pretty Little Stars ::

This is the first book in the Lovibond series which features 3 sexy men, all of whom craft delicious beer …. All in all, I found this book to be very sweet, very sexy, and a VERY good time! I loved meeting Lucas and Lawrence and found their relationship to be extremely sweet. This is especially true considering Lucas’s background and a lot of pain he had to endure when he was only a teenager. But Lawrence (aka Wren) has had her share of trouble too. She comes from a past where the people who are supposed to love and protect her the most ended up hurting her the worse. How can these two tarnished souls find love when all they knew about “love” was pain?

Lucas and Wren meet in unconventional circumstances. Wren’s brother is actually a friend and partner of Lucas, and when he gets into trouble he needed Lucas’s help in keeping his problems on the DL. So Lucas helps Stout (Wren’s brother) by texting Wren and pretending he is her brother. Only problem? He doesn’t expect to be so taken with Wren and her bohemian ways….

The two hit if off pretty early in the book and show a very strong attraction to one another from the get go. The problem with this is that Stout wants Lucas to stay away from his sister because of his tendencies to use and leave women behind. But Lucas and Wren can’t stay away from one another so they have a relationship in the sly…

Of course problems ensue here on out and Lucas’s past pain haunts their current relationship. While we readers can certainly sympathize with him there are some points where we want to slap him for not seeing true love when it is right in front of him!

Anyway, this is a really great story and the first book I have ever read by Georgia Cates. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series (which releases in may) and I certainly recommend it to fellow book lovers. I mean, what is better than a hot and sexy bearded man, BEER, and forever love??

“Every woman needs protecting from Tap.” I’m probably going to regret asking this question. “Where did that name come from?” The corners of Ollie’s mouth curl. “It’s a double meaning. He loves beer on tap. But he loves tapping ass more.”

Tap just happens to be my very first Georgia Cates book. I have heard such wonderful things about the Beauty From Pain books that when I saw this one, I snatched it up. Finally, a chance to read Ms. Cates. I have to be honest, I was not blown away but I did enjoy the book.

‘I’m risking my friendship with Stout. My business relationship. Maybe even my livelihood. And I don’t care. She’s worth the gamble. I’m going all in.’

I do actually really love a book told from both point of views. I also really do adore my brother’s best friends types of books. Books with texting, yes please! Books that have smoking hot sex, check. I also was hooked from the simple synopsis. The whole beer theme sounded cool. So, this book had all of these really cool things that made for a really nice story. Plus, there was some painful angsty past stuff on Tap’s part that gave me the feels.

So, I gave this book 4 stars. It was good. I enjoyed it. Maybe I had built Georgia Cates up in my mind and that is why I am not giving this book 5 Stars but I still really enjoyed it so I don’t want to put anyone off. It is still a well written sexy good story.

“Crazy love is the best kind.”

I loved to story of Lucas (Tap) and Lawrence (Wren). They were 2 perfectly imperfect people who, despite fighting their attraction and their demons, couldn't stay away from one another. They worked at their relationship, through distance, Wren's brother and their pasts, but they knew the one thing they couldn't live without was the other, even if that meant spending months apart to figure it all out.

Another great book by Georgia Cates and a series I look forward to.

I liked the story...it had potential, but it was predictable. I did not like the writing. I couldn't connect with the story or characters. Half the time I couldn't tell who was talking. There was a lot of potential for angst, but every time, the incidents passed without drama. I will not be continuing with this series.

Not well constructed with irritating characters. Not for me.

I think I was out when the FMC, while at a fair, proclaimed that she only ate organic vegan. Erm. You're at a fair. I don't recall seeing that booth at my county fair and that was only three months ago. It's not the message I resent, I fully support vegans. I wish I had the dedication needed to embrace that lifestyle. I might go so far as to say I'm jealous of those people. So, no, I'm not on any sort of reverse morality bender. It's the way it was said and in the context in which it was relayed. In essence, I rang the bell of "I'm better than you" and "I won't stoop to your neanderthal level".

Before that, I found Lawrence (yes, that's the FMC) to be hugely overbearing. I mean, what kind of person demands that their sibling reply to every single message or phone call? What kind of person feels another should be beholden to them simply because they share DNA? I couldn't get past her insistent, self-righteous, self-important, narcissistic voice. It's possible this is the greatest story ever written and I'll just never know because I couldn't read a single passage of hers without wanting to commit murder.

Not only is she insistent that her brother communicate, but when he doesn't provide the level of communication she feels entitled to, she drives hours to show up at his doorstep. Lady, I don't care who birthed you, get a life.

Lucas, from what I gleaned about him from his time on the page, isn't much better. Some friend, supporting and participating in this ruse of tricking his friend and business partner's sister into believing he's the brother. And for what? So the brother can slink away to rehab without upsetting his incestuously clingy sister?

Yeah, I'm out. The high school is just down the block, if I want that level of drama I'll go to a football game and lurk.

Beth's 4.5 Star Review

I first fell in love Georgia Cates writing when she gave us the yummy Jack Henry. So when I saw she was giving us a new hottie, this time a beer maker rather than a wine maker I just knew I had to check this series out and so glad that I did.

Lucas Broussard, a.k.a. Tap, has gone into the beer making business with his two friends Porter and Ollie. Ollie (a.k.a. Stout) has found himself in trouble and has asked Lucas to help him out by covering for him with is sister, Lawrence. Lawrence, a.k.a. Lawry, feels there is something off with her brother and decides to pay him a surprise visit, only to find him not there and finally gets to meet his business partner Lucas. Lucas and Lawrence hit it off immediately and the chemistry is instantly there, but Ollie has laid down the law that Lucas was to stay away from his sister. Lucas tried but the attraction is too strong between them and they both give in for just one hot sexy weekend. But they soon realize that the attraction and want is still there and they want more and decide to secretly see where things take them but they soon realize what Lawry wants, Lucas is not willing to give her.

There were so many things I loved about this story that I really don’t know where to start. I loved the build-up of Lawry and Lucas meeting and them coming together. I really enjoyed the texting and banter going on between these two, some of it known to Lawry, some of it not known but it helped build that connection between them for me. I loved the chemistry between these two, when these two came together, they were off the charts hot and sexy but I also loved that when they were around others, they had to be secretive about it, and I found it really helped to even further build the anticipation between them. Also I loved how the author played out their relationship in this story, things moved fast with them and became serious over a short period of time, but how the author handled it didn’t make it feel insta-love at all, you really could feel the connection and love they shared.

I really loved Lucas, he was a womanizer but his past helped make him that way. And I must say I really enjoyed the dynamic the author added about his past, it helped a fresh aspect to their story. I loved though that he was a truly gentleman with her, so sweet and caring. And I absolutely loved his hot sexy alpha side. When these two came together in the bedroom, or where ever else it happened, these two were off the charts hot and sexy.

I really enjoyed Lawry’s character. Her life didn’t start out great but luckily things turned around when her and Ollie were adopted by their foster parents and she was able to get some help to move past it all. I loved how strong and independent she was, that she knew she wanted a husband and family in her future but her happiness wasn’t dependent on a man being in her life, she was complete all on her own, she didn’t need someone else to complete her. And I loved how strong she was in her beliefs that she stood by them and not give in.

Overall this was a fabulous fun and flirty and a whole lot of hot and sexy read. Their story was one I truly enjoyed immensely but I also enjoyed the other aspects of it. I really enjoyed seeing the dynamic between Lucas and his partners, Ollie and Porter and I am excited to get their stories this year as well. I also really enjoyed the amount of information included in the story in regards to the beer making. I love a good romance but I love when aspects of their characters are included. I really enjoyed all that the author included about the beer making and beer tasting parts in the story, and it shows how much work and passion the author puts into her stories, it truly adds more to the story when it’s not the typical boy meets girl they fall in love but there is also a chance to learn about something other than love. I am so glad I picked this one and I will be counting down the days till Stout’s book is out this spring, I want more of these hotties and can’t wait to see who will catch his eye!

Beer. Hot boys. Accents. Best friends. BEARDS!!! What more can a girl ask for? When Georgia Cates writes it, nothing!!

I’m falling on my knees for Tap. Tap, Stout and Porter run Lovibond, a local brewery which is taking off. A huge local event of beer brewers is coming to their town and they’re sponsoring it. Then Stout runs into to trouble and steps away for a bit, and Tap meets Lawrence...

The saddest discovery you can ever make is realizing you’ve fallen truly, madly, and deeply in love with a dream that will never be.

This book isn’t just fun and best friends protecting someone. It’s chemistry, love, feels and more. There were moments I wondered if my eyes would leak and then just as quick I was laughing hysterically. The chemistry between Tap and Wren can’t be quenched by a cold beer or two. I totally love the banter between the two of them.

The development of Lovibond and the characters is amazing and fun! I can’t wait to read more of the story. Scot, Bridgette, Warren and Porter have so much more to tell us. ~ Heather, 5 Beerific stars

The blurb had me at craft beer and sexy men, and oh my lawd, was Lucas a sexy bearded hunk!!

Due to Lucas’ past, he doesn't do relationships. But when his eyes spot Lawrence (Wren) he's a goner, and knows some rules are meant to broken—even if it's just for a bit. He never thought in his wildest dreams that Wren would make him want/feel things that brought him heartache, yet he's conflicted and scared, wondering if he can even offer her what she truly deserves!

Lucas most definitely catches Wren's attention. Their chemistry is off the charts and Lucas's R-rated thoughts of even the simple things Wren does, like sipping the beer, has his mind in the gutter!

Learning about Lucas's past had me tearing up and wanting to hug him and tell him everything would be different this time. All he had to do is give what they had a chance!!

I love Georgia Cates' work and she keeps getting better and better! I'm looking forward to Stout's story and seeing who can tame him! ~ Kara, 5 stars

Reading any book by Georgia Cates is like taking a fresh breathe of air on a beautiful, sunny day. It’s refreshing and invigorating!!! And Tap is just another proof of that.

Lucas “Tap” Broussard will have you begging for him to be your next book boyfriend. He is all man and his personality doesn’t make him look like a dominate ass. I think Georgia has definitely written one of the best male characters with Tap. He’s rugged, masculine and his mannerisms will surprise the hell out of you.

Lawrence Thorn is a hoot. I really like her. She’s very carefree and has a unique outlook on life. She’s got a heart of gold and will do just about anything for anyone. However, she’s not a pushover or naive. She’s a very strong woman who enjoys her independence.

Once these two meet, it’s like watching fireworks in full action. The chemistry between them is so obvious. But their relationship can’t be. Yet they also can’t resist the attraction for one another. So how do you keep a long distance a secret and still excite one anther without causing any inquiring minds to catch on?

This is a beautiful love story and Georgia wrote it flawlessly. I love how everything unfolded. I absolutely love the background and the brewery aspect of this book. Being a huge craft beer lover, this book definitely called to me. But what kept me drawn in was Georgia’s writing. I couldn’t wait to see how everything would play out.

I am excited to see what happens in the next two books with the other characters.

Basically if you want a super cheesy, smutty read with little to no drama, this is the one for you. The entire story was really predictable and there was pretty much no conflict. The MCs are in their late twenties/early thirties but you could've told me they were in their early to mid-twenties and I wouldn't have thought otherwise. A lot of the sex just became so repetitive I ended up skimming them. This seems to be a regular occurrence with this author's other books so this will probably be the last book I read of hers.

Just a FYI, the book does end at 89%.

It wasn’t the most interesting story, but I was still reading.
I felt like Lawrence was supposed to be super likable with her hippy-ish ways.. She’s vegan people. So tired of it. Anyway, I didn’t really feel her. Nickname Lawry should have given me a clue, right?
Lucas was also hard to like. I just didn’t like any of the characters in this book.
However, I absolutely loved the epilogue. Both stars go to that ending. It almost made everything I read in this story worthwhile.

My 5-Facts Review ('Cuz I'm lazy busy reading)

TAP BY GEORGIA CATES
★★⋆☆☆ (2.5 stars)
________________________________

I'm a huge fan of Georgia Cates. Her writing is amazing and I always trust her to deliver engaging stories. As always, this book was really well-written.

✔ I LOVED the first half of the book. I fell in love with the characters and the story flew naturally.

About halfway through the story started to drag. It felt like there was nothing more to add to the story without creating dragged out drama. And I was right. After that point the happenings felt repetitive, like the characters were describing the same feelings, lines over and over again. It got boring pretty quickly.

❌ I hate big time jumps during a book. I hate it especially when the characters are the same after the time jump as they were before, and they act like nothing changed.

❌ There were times when I did not feel the deep connection between the main characters. It was missing the spark.

Tap (A Lovibond Novel #1)
by Georgia Cates [REVIEW]

I really loved the story of Tap and Lawry but everytime I think about this book, the first thing comes to my head is how much I hate the cover. I’m sorry. Everything except the cover is purr-ffffectt.

*MC’s Corner*
Note: Spoilers.

• This is new… a series about business partners. Three book in a series with three different main characters. Hmmm… If this thing went to 3 business partner fell in love with three 3 friends… let’s just say I am not going to be very happy about it. I mean if this series is about Lawry and her gang falling in love with three business partners…
So yeah, I am crossing my fingers for that to not happen.

• Honestly, if I did not read the blurb I would think Lawrence was a guy. Ha!

• Sadly… Tap ( Lucas Broussard) doesn’t have the quality of Jack Henry McLachlan I loved very much.
But still good and fun story. I enjoyed it. I just have this ‘thing’ that I like comparing them to the previous series characters I loved from author’s previous works.
