Ormnhi moon: Book 2

Rate this book
The Diamaar Druid held up his clenched hand, his long slender fingers clasping something small and solid. As he began to chant a ball of fire struck his throat, burning his face and igniting his robes. His body was enveloped in a torrent of flames.
Then they saw him. In a long black cloak with his hood covering his face, he stood before the raging fire. The Dark Mage. Zallucien let his gaze fall to the floor as his Window to the World began to darken.
The time draws near.

In the five years since Afeclin, Wolflang and Lenna crossed the Tebelligan border, the Warlord as presence in Marrapassa has strengthened. His trolls and dark knights have inhabited towns and cities, slavery has returned and people are angry and fearful. Adding to their unease, the Dark Mage has grown in power and will stop at nothing to procure the elusive merdaicur shells. Hope rests on the shoulders of a few. The Scorpius Legion and in particular, the courageous Wolflang, are determined to see justice prevail while Afeclin is sent on a quest in order to uncover the truth. Skills and abilities are put to the test and allegiances challenged as Afeclin learns to hone in his newly acquired gift. An encounter with a gold dragon and mysterious Norvakian Queen could be his undoing. In amongst the darkness and chaos the sign of the foretold chosen one, is upon them. The Ormnhi Moon.

I was never going to be a writer...seriously.
Somehow despite my great love of telling and writing stories, writing as a career was just not a consideration at all... i had other plans. However i was kind of propelled towards it... or perhaps my characters and world were begging me to be released from their prison (which is my mind) to be able to frolic on paper. So here i am, having just released my book, the first of a trilogy, a teen fantasy adventure, Titanian Chronicles - Journey of Destiny.

Another good book. I liked most of the character development in this one. Bloody unfortunate story for some of the characters. Trials have a stromg place in our protagonists growth here. There's depth added to the characters. Some of it I thought was more reasonable than others. I also enjoyed the main antagonist as well, quite dislikable. All in all, I wanted to read the next one to see how it all played out.

Ormnhi Moon, the second installment of the Titanian Chronicles Trilogy, is a fascinating read. All the buildup of the first book (introducing characters and setting the stage) leads to an exciting continuation of the series.

5 years after the first book, the characters are long away from their homes and integrating into the outside world. They have faced excitement and perils, and have not even seen the half of it. The worldbuilding is still enticing, with more of the world revealed as our characters leave the mainland of Marapassa and the readers explore the wider world of Titania around them.

This was an exciting read and my personal favourite of the trilogy. But reader beware: there is a cliffhanger and you will want the third and final book ready for when it comes!!
