I really liked this trilogy, mostly because I'd really like to become a jedi. But I thought it was a bit childish and had some flaws, e.g. it isn't about padawans, unlike what's written, it's about younglings. I'd really like Roan's story to continue in "Star Wars Jedi Academy: The Force Sleeps", and for all those people who say they're worried about anakin showing up and killing them, WHAT THE HELL? I mean, Yoda is about 700 years old in this trilogy, and about 900 in "Star Wars return of the jedi", knowing that anakin kills everyone about 22 years before that, Yoda was about 800 years back then. So this all happens about 100 years before that, that means Roan would be a jedi master/knight by the time everyone died, if he wasn't yet dead. Lots of those survived order 66, so let's just be positive guys, ok?

Roan wants to be A star pilot but he got into Jedi Academy. One of the central conflicts was that he into the wrong Academy. A central theme was at Jedi Academy. I would say this book was good because it has funny parts. In the first chapter he got a letter sent home about Jedi Academy. I gave it a 5 star cause it was a good book.

A foundational series in my life. The lessons of friendship, bravery, and school shenanigans have lasted me a lifetime and it's still a nostalgic ride to read through and something that I think every star wars fan would get a kick out of.

Cute, often funny, and so contradictory to Star Wars canon. A little disappointed that the panels weren't coloured liked the cover was. Very American-centric.
