A very good, clear, concise guide to testosterone replacement therapy. It talks about, and dispels, all the popular myths surrounding the dangers and gives a good overview off the pros and cons of the different treatment options. It's pretty quick to dismiss any possible natural therapies and doesn't really go into any possible causes. I would have liked a little more depth overall but can't really knock it for that. Seems like a really good introduction to the subject for anyone who is interested.

Excellent educational info. For as much info as has been out there for hormone replacement therapy for women, this gives good information about the effects of low T. Apparently, low T is devastating to quality of life in terms of energy and vigor for life. It is implicated in heart disease, diabetes, chronic fatigue, osteoporosis and more. It is something both men and women should look into as they get to midlife. That's why I'm looking into it!

Great info to help dispel common myths about HRT (hormone replacement therapy) for men. As a writer, and researcher on health and fitness information, this book delivers the most up to date information to enable men to make a more informed choice on testosterone supplementation.

4 stars for the content but a dry read. Still recommended for men 50 plus. Provides insight into how important normal testosterone levels are for optimal health and what can compromise. Also good information on what treatments are available for low testosterone individuals .

Not what I was expecting. I thought it would discuss ways to naturally increase testosterone but it was all about hormone therapy. Not what my husband was looking for.
