When Spectrums’ leaders propose a historical museum as a way to unite their divergent populations, some are in favor of the plan, while some, including Pascal, are against it. The last thing he wants is to revisit the time when humans first arrived on the Spectrum shore. When Pascal is ordered to escort an archivist from the underworld for the project, London, his human partner, is shocked by Pascal’s fierce opposition. But Pascal still has secrets he doesn’t care to share with his lover.
Yet given no choice but to complete the assignment, Pascal meets the archivist, who turns back time and takes Pascal with it, much to the delight of Redona, the queen of the underworld.
Meanwhile, London also has his hands full. There’s a new drug on the streets and it looks like werewolves are involved. Can London solve the new case, especially after Pascal abruptly disappears from Spectrum Skies?
I write not only for my own pleasure, but for the pleasure of my readers. I can’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t written and told stories. When I’m not writing, I’m dreaming about writing, doing something wild and adventurous, or trying to make the world a better and more open minded place to live in. I adore beautiful men, and I know I’m not alone in this! Eroticism between consenting adults, in all its many forms is the icing on the cake of life!
From the moment humans first landed on Spectrum, there has been a battle between the paranormal residents and the invading humans who want to take complete control of the island. Amongst the invaders are a few fanatical scientists who consider the paranormal as nothing more than dumb animals to enslave. Although the original extremists are dead, their original plan for absolute power is attempting to be resurrected by some of the current generations.
The Archivist is the fourth book of the Spectrum Skies series. In this episode, London must contend with attacks carried out by individuals high on drugs while Pascal is being tortured in the underworld by the demon queen. The plot illustrates painful memories, regret, greed and discrimination.
D. J. Manly has created another enjoyable and intriguing installment to this series. The point I found most interesting is how uncivilized humans compared to the paranormals, deemed themselves privileged and superior to Spectrum residents, who are stronger, as well as have magical powers.
