About the author

Hendrik "Hank" Hanegraaff, also known as the "Bible Answer Man", is an American Christian author and radio talk-show host. Formerly an evangelical Protestant, he joined the Eastern Orthodox Church in 2017. He is an outspoken figure within the Christian countercult movement, where he has established a reputation for his critiques of non-Christian religions, new religious movements, and cults, as well as heresy in Christianity. He is also an apologist on doctrinal and cultural issues.

Quick, consise, and to the point. Evolution has taken many societies down a hurtful path. It is no longer scientifically viable, but scientists cling to it as if holding on to their ragged childhood blankie. This book covers no religions or faiths, it simply tells how evolution is a fraud in this day and age from a scientific background.

short and sweet and to the point. I love it. This would be a book to give to someone who has just first heard that anyone questions evolution. It's brief, so any ardent evolutionist who has debated Christians before could probably find a counter argument as Hanegraaff doesn't go into in depth details but he does give enough for a believer to stand against the average person who believes in evolution. Great introduction to this topic.

I learn a lot from this well documented little book. It is written by Hank Hanegraaff of the Christian Research Institute. There are tons of note in it to back up the author's claims. It is almost a shame that the book was written to be so overtly Christian. I am a Christian myself so it didn't offend me, but I think the scientific and historical facts in the book could be overshadowed to a non Christian reader. Either way, the scientific research in the book is so compelling that I don't think anyone could read the book with an open mind and still have absolute faith in the theory of evolution.

Great book. Only 80 small pages, but so much to learn for someone who was never exposed to evolution. A good read for anyone.

Two quotes I liked --
Page 6, Ethics and morals were no longer determined on the basis of objective standards but rather by the size and strength of the latest lobby group. (And I add the comment, GRRRRR!)

Page 57, We would do well to test the theory of evolution in light of the laws of science instead of trying them in the court of public opinion.

This is an extremely quick read and a basic overview of the flaws found in evolution. What I enjoyed most was that Hanegraaff provides his readers with a myriad of notes and citations at the back of the book. This allows readers to view other resources that will help them to dig deeper.

This book is insulting to those of us who study evolution. Not because of it revealing secrets, as the subtitle would have you think, but because of its vast misrepresentations. The whole book is a strawman argument.

It covers the basics and is packed full of information. What is probably the most useful part of the book are the notes at the end of the book. The notes section is a cornucopia of citations to other books to read on the topics covered in this book.
