A good love story always begins the same way.

A chance meeting.

A sizzling look.

A flat tire…

Dani Miner could have been voted least likely to be a damsel in distress.

Tabor Hunter should have been voted most likely to do the rescuing.

So when Dani gets a flat tire on her way home one evening, she is, at first, less than thrilled to be helped out by a man that is clearly too charming for his own good. Even if he is handsome. And buff. And the king of the thousand watt smile.

However, prickly Dani is eventually charmed by her hottie knight in shining sunglasses. And a brief moment spent on the side of the road on a hot summer evening quickly leads to a first date.

But what Dani doesn’t realize is that she has just agreed to go out with the very famous defensive end for the San Diego Quakes. And Tabor is thrilled to finally meet a woman who doesn’t fall at his overly athletic feet. This year's most valuable player is excited to have a chance to be an ordinary guy with a less than ordinary woman.

But being a celebrity can put a real kink in your love life and Dani, a woman used to a much quieter life, is soon caught up in the high paced world of fame and football.

Falling in love is easy. Falling in love with a sports star is another story.

Can Dani figure out how to play the game before she fumbles her chance at happiness?

3.5 Bette than I expected!

When I started this I didn't know what to think. I wanted something light, but I kind of expected it to suck. Imagine my surprise when I realized it didn't!

It was a really cute story, everything you would expect form this type of book. Ok, it wasn't the most original thing I've read. But c'mon, who expects that from a contemporary?
I enjoyed the characters (I usually have a soft spot for teachers), they were funny and easy to like. And the story didn't really feel forced, like it sometimes does in romances. It's a perfect book for a lazy, rainy day.

I'm surprised not more people read this. If you want a cute, fast, enjoyable read, give it a try. Who knows, you might even like it :P

“Please don’t break my heart,” I warned.
“I’m pretty sure it goes both ways, baby.”

An entertaining sports romance about a chance meeting between a teacher and a famous football player.

Dani Miner is an independent woman. Never again would she be at the mercy of a man. So when she gets a flat tyre she refuses to admit that she needed the assistance of the very charming Tabor who offers his help. But luckily he was insistent, and hot and way too sexy to ignore. And when he asks her for a date, she accepts. Not knowing that she just met and accepted a dinner invitation from the famous defensive end for the San Diego Quakes, JT Hunter.

Tabor Hunter, known to everyone as JT Hunter, can’t help being fascinated by Dani, and the fact that she doesn’t seemed to know who he is excites him immensely. He’s so tired of being surrounded by woman who just wants to use him for his status. All he wants to be is an ordinary guy with an ordinary woman.

But can Dani accept and survive the attention and gossip that surrounds a celebrity? Can Tabor convince Dani that what they have is worth fighting for?

I really enjoyed this book. This first half was funny and so very sweet, with Tabor charming Dani and convincing her to give them a chance. The second half was a lot more serious, with lots of drama because of Tabor’s fame and how it affected their relationship. I actually enjoyed the drama, which was quite a shock as I abhor angst, but it balanced perfectly with the sweetness of the book.

I loved Tabor, and the way he pursued Dani was so very romantic. I liked Dani, although I have to admit that I got very frustrated with the way she would push Tabor away, using his celebrity status as a wall between them.

An enjoyable sports romance with lots of sweet moments.

If you are looking for a light and sweet read then Fumbled is the perfect book. I really enjoyed this one. It was light and refreshing and just a great romance between two people who are living in two different worlds.

Dani is a school teacher who is a very strong willed person and very independent. She cares a great deal for her students and her job. When she finds herself on the side of the road with a flat tire she tries her hardest to change it herself. It takes a lot before this girl is willing to give up and ask for help. But she didn’t have to ask. Her help appeared, in the form of one sexy young man with a gorgeous smile. Dani is still a little hesitant but accepts his help, not knowing just who this person is.

Tabor is a star football player. He loves football ever since he was a kid and his father taught him how to play. When he sees Dani on the side of the road there is just something about her. He watches her for a bit and then when he sees that she is still struggling he goes over to help her. And he was right, there is something special about her. She is beautiful and has no idea who he is. He wants to get to know her and eventually she accepts one date with him.

But when Dani finds out the truth she is not sure that dating a football star is going to work. They live in two different worlds. She is not like any girl that Tabor has dated before. She is not in it for the fame and the money. She likes Tabor because of the genuinely sweet guy that he is. But can she really date someone who is in the public eye and who has girls throwing themselves at him? Will this really work out between them?

First I have to say that I loved Tabor. He really is a good guy who is sweet and very down to earth. Fame hasn’t seemed to change him. He knows who he is and where he came from. He is tired of women throwing themselves at him and dating him because of his stardom. When he meets Dani she is so different from any girl he has met. And he will do what it takes to convince her that they belong together and that he is falling for her. And trust me he has his work cut out for him, because Dani does not make this easy on him.

Dani I had a hard trouble connecting with at times. She is very strong an independent and also very loving and caring. Which is what I loved about her. But I think she was a bit too judgemental when it came to Tabor and his career. She had issues with dating him before they really even started dating. I feel like while she had no interest in him because he played professional football, she in a way judged him and his lifestyle because of it. Otherwise I really liked her. I could see how much they were falling for each other. And at one point in the book when something horrible happens my heart hurt for the two of them. Tabor became something that he wasn’t and Dani’s strength showed once again towards the end, proving why I loved her.

TK Rapp did a wonderful job with this story. I loved the characters themselves as well as their families. They both had such a strong support system. This was a very refreshing and sweet read. There was a little bit of drama towards the end that was just the perfect amount. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

Yesterday afternoon, I decided to read this book and barely took a break till I finished it... I absolutely adored this one. It has everything I'd like in a book. A thoughtful, so-good-to-be-true hero and an independent, heroine with a great sense of humor... the info of the book tells you all about the story. so other than that, I loved the writing style: It was told by both of the characters. I loved that it has many other characters. If you'd like to read a great love story, Fumbled is what you should pick next!!

This was better than I was anticipating. It was a cute story and most of the time I really liked Dani. Other times she irritated the hell out of me. She was a coward and would lie instead of admit what she wanted. That bothered me. I really liked Tabor/JT. He was sweet, considerate, and sexy. There was absolutely no sex in this. The author would just skip right over it. That is really uncommon in today's romance novels. I found I didn't mind. overall cute story.

Fumbled is the first book I have read by TK Rapp and I am really impressed. It’s always good to be able to find a book that gives you a reprieve from the same old books you’ve been reading. TK’s approach to Dani and Tabor’s story is quite different for me and gave me the breath of fresh air I needed.

Dani has found herself on the side of the road with a flat tire. Not one to take help from others, she tries to change the tire herself. Her dad had taught her and her sister to be independent and be able to do things for themselves. After being unsuccessful, she is surprised to find someone willing to help after others have passed her by. But, he’s not just any someone; he’s Tabor Hunter, a hot and sexy football player.

Tabor happens to see a woman that catches his eye as he is driving by. There is something about her that makes him pull over to help. With his shades on to help cover his identity, he is shocked to find quite a bull headed woman. What he doesn’t know is that she doesn’t follow football, so she doesn’t recognize him, which pleases him even more. With a smudge filled face, Dani is drawn to his eyes after she finally gets him to lower his shades.

Tabor is definitely interested but Dani is a teacher and knows her plain life will never fit in with his celebrity status. Quickly, they become friends and even though they know they want each other, Dani is afraid and I can’t say I blame her. What a life he leads with women falling at his feet!

As their relationship changes and right when Dani decides to try for a relationship, tragedy strikes and Tabor becomes a cold-hearted man that she never knew he could be. I must say I was ready to slap him for acting like an idiot, even though he knew things would never be the same.

Dani and Tabor end up being just what the other needs and I love how the book progresses into such a heartwarming romance. Tabor sure had his work cut out for him with hardheaded Dani, who never asks for help and had experienced a bad relationship before him.

I think this book worked for me because it had strong characters and was written well. They are perfect for each other and both had strong support systems in their family life. TK really impressed me with this book in that even though it is a romance that is sexy, it didn’t go over the top with heated scenes. Don’t get me wrong, I love a hot book, but this was a pleasant change that I needed in a book. I’m now a big fan of TK Rapp’s and I encourage you to read this 4 star book.

Touchdown Read!!!

Yes, I know that was cliche, but I had to say it. It was the first time that came to mind when I finished this book. As I was swooning in Tabor essence, I was wanting to take my kindle and spike it straight to the ground in a JJ Watt motion. Ok, Ok, I will leave behind the football lingo and let you all know that I totally loved this book. If you are into sport romance and picture your favorite NFL player in the faces of the characters in the book (insert JJ Watt), then this is not something that you are going to want to pass up.

T.K. Rapp has been a favorite author of mine since I first read Being There a few years ago. With that book she took my heart and put it through the ringer. I remember sending her a message on FB telling her that she had just killed me! I knew looking at the cover that this was not really going to be an emotional read, but it was fun and awesome none the less.

Dani is a woman that knows what she wants and is not going to take BS from anyone. When she gets a flat tire on the side of the road, she is so happy that her father taught her how to change a flat tire. What he didn't do was give her the muscles to turn the lug nuts. In comes Mr. Hottie McHotness to the rescue. From there, it was true love. Little did Dani know that Talbor was going to introduce her to a life she never expected.

As in any books, there was a time that I wanted to take Dani and ask her what she is thinking, but for the most part, Dani was a character that I would strive to be in the same shoes. Talbor is that perfect man with a bow on him most of the time ( you know that he is going to do something to make you go Hmmm). That aside, it was a great read you are going to love it. This is a series, so I can't wait to see what the other books leave me feeling!!!

I was kinda mixed about this book. I totally enjoyed it! The writing was good. It flowed perfectly. I loved Tabor!
But... I Was not really feeling Dani.

Dani was a hard person to like. She seemed to have a permanent attitude. And a major chip on her shoulder.
Even after getting with Tabor... She still gave the guy a hard time.
It always felt Iike Tabor was walking on eggshells. It was hard to read.
I mean.... He bent over backwards for her. And she really didn't meet him halfway in my opinion.
It was always about her.
-Keep this relationship a secret.
-I want to be friends.
-We need a break.
All her.

I felt bead for Tabor. Because he did it all!
At one point I...I felt like screaming.
Call your teachers union rep!!!...lol
My god... You don't have to do what you are doing!
Oh man... As you can see... This book had me going.
Don't get me started on the best friend!!...lol
She's another one. I would be so upset with with my best friend if she did what Millie did to Dani!
She really had no regard for her best friends feelings. She just didn't care!
Yes she was a good best friend throughout the book. But she really messed up... Big time.

I loved how Tabor and Dani met. Tabor didn't take no for and answer and Dani took a chance.

I felt bad for Tabor towards the end of the book. But I felt Dani needed to step up and acknowledge her role in what happened in the whole relationship. And she did. I just wish she wasn't so standoffish.
I was glad Tabor stood up for himself! I just wish he would have done it sooner rather than later with Dani.

The ending was cute and I was really happy how it all played out!

Overall... Even though Dani got to me. Her character didn't affect me. The story was good and I still enjoyed it.

This is the first book I've read by this author... but after reading Fumbled, I will definitely read all of her books now... WOW what a writer

I freaking loved Fumbled... what more can I say to do this book justice??
I love everything about it, the story, the plot, the characters, the suspense and the drama

Once I had started Fumbled I seriously couldn't put it down until I was finished... the next thing I knew I had been reading for hours, I was totally gripped and lost hours of the day due to being so stuck in the book... but it was so worth it

Fumbled is a really romantic story... in my opinion
There was nothing to deep or dark in it.. it was just an all round easy, enjoyable, amazing romance book

In Fumbled we meet Dani, she is a teacher in the local school
she is quite a strong willed and independent girl..

One day on the road side while trying to fix her burst tyre, she meets the gorgeous Tabor..
From the moment they meet there is instant sparks

Dani is so unlike all the women Tabor is used to, she is like a breath of fresh air to him... and the bonus is she has no idea who he is

Tabor makes it his mission to get to know more about this amazing woman

In Fumbled they both go one a crazy ride... lots of drama, secrets and plenty of swoon worthy romance.... "sigh" Tabor<3

But can two totally different people form two totally different worlds find there happy ever after... together

Well you will have to read it to find out

Fumbled is a great romance book

There is no dark subjects, no cheating and no awful childhoods

its just a Great Romance Book

I loved every page, it was a refreshing change from all the dark / deep books I have read recently

5* Huge, Sparkly, Amazing Stars
I am now I HUGE fan of this author

Brilliant Book

Light hearted read for sports novel fans.

This played like a chick flick in my head.

You know that cute fuzzy feeling you get when the main character first shows up in the movie? I kinda felt that here when they first met each other (mc's). After that, it was all "woosh" to love land.
I must admit, there were many predictable moments, but the way each character handled situations were nice.

It all wrapped up well in the end. If you're in for some light reading and would like to have a novel play like a movie in your head, then I recommend this to you. :)

Dani is kind and loving. She finds herself on the side of the road trying to fix her flat and she seems to be struggling a little, until Tabor offers to help her out. Tabor is just trying to hide who is because people seem to go crazy over him because of who is. Dani doesn’t have a clue until her family feels her in. She decides to give him a chance. The story flows pretty well. However, I felt like they fall in love to fast unless the time frame is a little longer than explained. Also, they both just gave up to fast for two people that loved each other so much.

What I liked least about this book? Dani has a relationship from her past that she wasn’t honest with herself, family, or friends about. This made me think that she wasn’t as strong a female character that I would have thought without this part.

This book is narrated by Paul Brion and Angel Clark. They both do a great job and bring a little more to the story.

I really enjoyed Dani & Tabor's story. Dani has no clue that a famous football player just helped her fix her flat tire. Tabor is amused that Dani has no clue who he is and that she isn't a fan. Tabor has a hard time finding women who want to know him and not his bank account. Dani is a teacher who loves to help her students and has an after school program. These two get off rocky when Dani gets put on a leave of absence but she doesn't tell Tabor. Dani thinks that they need to take a break in their relationship. Dani loses it when Tabor gets injured. Will these two make it or not?

Well this is my first book by TK Rapp and I loved it, Tabor and Dani story is such a sweet swoony one. He tries to hide his identity and wanting to be a normal guy for Dani who didn't have a clue of who he was made a perfect storyline. The teacher and the famous football player story evolves in a slow burn that will have you reading. Convincing Dani that he is worth fighting for will not be easy. I got the audiobook and the narrators were perfect, they showed every emotion in their words, made it so easy to get into it until the end. I will be looking forward to reading the next one.

It honestly took me quite a few chapters to really get hooked on the story and characters, but once I was in I was ALL in. Love the honestly in their relationship. And even though I've sadly never dated a professional football player I could relate to the couple. Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is I was very disappointed in the ending. It felt very rushed, I would have preferred to book be a little longer to give a better ending. Other than that I really enjoyed this book.

3.5 but rounded up

An older-style romance. I didn't like how the heroine freaked out on the hero, but when she was ready to get with him, he was supposed to get over his hurts right away. Yeah, that's not fair, even if you are supposed to be together.

Also, the name Tabor kept making me think of musician Ty Tabor of King's X. I really thought I was going to get a musical Easter egg out of the book when the mom explained Tabor's name origin. I wasn't so lucky.

TK Rapp has a way of making you WANT to know her characters- and FUMBLED is no exception! (It helps that I constantly picture Tabor as JJ Watt, lol!) Dani was a strong, hilarious match for Tabor (I loved her inner monologue) and Tabor was sweet, patient, and SO sexy. Their passion was a slow burn with just enough heat to add to their romance. LOVE!! <3

Cannot mark it less than 1 star. This girl is too much of a coward. She doesn’t want to date the dude because he’s famous seriously. He’s a great guy so far anyways and she’s being a moron. I don’t know if I can keep reading about her stupid reasons for not dating a super nice guy. I hate people who make their own lives impossible. All their issues are self made because the h is an idiot

I hated this book. The female lead is a total Mary Sue, constantly setting herself up for failure in her relationship. The male lead comes across as a solid, dependable guy, but she manufactures so much drama. Ugh. Barely managed to finish. 2 stars for proper grammar and lack of typos.

Boring & predictable

The story was slow and nothing special.
A kiss and holding hands is about as raunchy as it gets.
I skimmed theough a lot of it so i could finish, even knowing how it would end.
