MARTIN CALVARY RETURNS IN BOOK THREE OF THE ACCLAIMED ACTION THRILLER SERIESAfter almost a year on the run, Martin Calvary, veteran of the war in Afghanistan and assassin for MI6, has returned to the fold. He's working once again for the Chapel, a division of British Intelligence so clandestine not even the Prime Minister knows about it, and one committed to the elimination of enemies of the British State.By any means necessary.During a routine operation in Lisbon, Calvary uncovers the identity of a man who's being hunted by not only MI6, but every other major intelligence service in the world.A man whose nationality is unknown, and whose ideology is terrifyingly obscure.A man known by the ancient Sumerian name Alal. The Destroyer. An arms dealer responsible for some of the greatest terrorist atrocities of recent times.Calvary establishes that Alal has links with a Russian oligarch. But Moscow itself wants Alal brought to heel. The SVR, successor to the Soviet KGB, makes Britain an offer.Let's co-operate.Thrown into an uneasy alliance with the Kremlin, Calvary follows Alal's trail to South Africa and, with violence and betrayal threatening him from every side, northward into Africa's deadly, war-torn the Democratic Republic of Congo. As he closes in on his target, and the true horror of Alal's intentions is revealed, Calvary must rely on the help of a ragged band of mercenaries, among them a white supremacist from South Africa's apartheid era, a former Marxist guerilla, and a Sudanese fellow Chapel agent seeking vengeance on the Destroyer, Alal, who butchered her family. As a soldier in Afghanistan, Calvary once failed his comrades. Their ghosts haunt him to this day. Now, at last, he has a chance at redemption. If the traitor in his outfit doesn't gain the upper hand...Thrilling, terrifying, and epic in scope, REDEMPTION ROAD is the explosive finale to the Martin Calvary trilogy.WHAT REVIEWERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE MARTIN CALVARY SERIES***** "Masterful nonstop actioner... superb, intelligent and filled with energy." - O. Great Action Packed Book

The Martin Calvary series was great to read. I finished all three books in a week. I couldn't get enough. The plot development was well done. The action and paranoia in the life of a man hunter were very realistic. I enjoyed the books.

Redemption Road (Martin Calvary #3)

Martin takes on what maybe his last mission for Chapel. Stop ALAL before he's able to deliver a huge weapons cache to a rebel General in west Africa. He recruits help furnished by Chapel and departs with nine well armed, well trained personnel to intercept the weapons before they've been delivered and to kill Alal, better known as Karga. The action is constant, and wild as they persue the weapons and Karga. You'll have to read the full story to find out whether or not the mission is successful. Thanks for another great read.

Book three see's Calvary back working for The Chapel, sent to take pictures of a Russian meeting a British diplomat, he stumbles across an arms dealer, top of the most wanted list. As he begins to track him down, he is forced to work with a hastily assembled team, can he trust them and is he still up to the task!! A good book that has Calvary looking for redemption, will he come out the other side or is this is last mission!!

It's the third book I've read by this author but first in this series. Again, impressed. There is some cross over, with locations and events mentioned from previous books I've read, but this book brings you to a whole new place, the depths of Africa and all that awaits. And it leaves you wondering just what has really happened...! Will continue to follow this author!

Fast moving and edgy this third Calvary book doesn't disappoint. If you're a fan of espionage and powerful characters I highly recommend Redemption Road. Tim Stevens will not disappoint you.

Ends like a soap opera. Sucks at best.

Tim Stevens writes an entertaining story. Loved the first two books. Can not recommend this to anyone. Ends in air.

Good read

Read all three and found them to be a good read but did not necessarily contact together easily. Of course this is only my opinion.
