This book is incredibly basic, wrought with grammatical errors, contradictions, and massive gaps in information. While some information is accurate, there is a good deal of misleading and contradictory information. I knew more information than this books offered, especially details and specifics that the book neglects to relay consistently from chapter to chapter, while stating in almost every paragraph that it will go into more detail later, and I am by far not an expert on tea, or using it to do a cleanse. In fact I never really thought the book clearly covered how or why tea and other herbs and spices used in the teas work to cleanse the body. Honestly I have learned more from health food stores than this book. For example it never clearly stated the difference between black, green and oolong tea, which are all the same leaf! It only glazed over a slight difference between black and green being the length of oxidation during processing. It never even really discussed oolong tea, even though it is in a recipe. It gave a couple uses for chamomile, but never said it is an antispasmodic or how it works. It states that tea cleanses are safe even for young children, but then says children should never be given tea, only the warm herbal concoctions and the tea left out! It says not to use sugar because it negates the cleanse and then includes sugar in many of the tea brewing instructions! These inconsistencies and contradictions appear throughout the book and unless you are able to piece out the good information from the bad through prior knowledge, you will end up confused, misguided and under informed. And if you can tell good from bad information, you probably know more than the book will give you, so really, unless you just need some more tea recipes without clear and specific applications, then you are wasting your time! The writing style seems so basic a fifth grader could have written it. The spelling and grammatical errors coupled with the casual lay speech style of writing and continuous promises of more discussion and detail that never arrives, but assures you that you learned it when you reach the summary and conclusion, only lend to the lack of credibility one senses in the author's research and knowledge base. Want to know how to do a tea cleanse and how it will benefit you? Want a little science and evidence, maybe even just a little 'why it works?' Start with some other book on tea cleanse
