Rate this book
My name is Chloe. I just graduated college a semester early in clothing design. My dad offered to fund my own clothing line if I came to Aspen and spent 25 days with him and my brother. Then the day after Christmas I would get the money. Although I hadn't been there since going to college in California I couldn't turn the money down. I hated it there and expected it to be boring.

But then I met drop dead sexy Finn...

I'm Finn and use women for sex. However, I was tired of one night stands so I decided that for the next 25 days I was going sex free. That's when I met Chloe. The gorgeous blonde didn't play games and I loved that about her. I decided to just be her friend until my 25 days were up. The problem? She was leaving at the exact same time. Could I stop myself from trying to f*ck her? Probably not, but she could...

Let the 25 days begin...

* This sexy steamy Christmas bad boy romance is perfect for fans of Joanna Blake, Devon Hartford, Sabrina Paige, Winter Renshaw, Vanessa Waltz and Dani Wyatt *

UCLA grad Chloe Burke, 24, has made a deal with her dad to come to Aspen for the holidays if he’ll help finance her design business. She hates the cold and her relationship with him isn’t exactly warm, but she’ll do what it takes to fulfill her dream.

Finn Warner, 27, works for his dad’s snow removal business while fulfilling the role of the town’s adorable manwhore. He might be using women to stay warm, but they use him too and now the lifestyle is growing a little stale.

An almost hook-up gone bad is the wakeup call for Finn to swear off sex for 25 days. Except now he has it bad for the new girl in town for the holidays and there’s more than just sex on the line.

Once getting past Finn’s manwhore ways in the opening, he was a total sweetie who needed to meet the right woman. He’s an upbeat, outgoing guy on the surface who underneath is really just lonely and looking for something more. I liked how Chloe called him out on his playboy status and helped open his eyes even more. She was exactly what he needed and made his “reform” more believable.

While Finn and Chloe are attracted to each other from the start, this isn’t an insta lust story. It really builds up the relationship—getting to know each other, hanging out, going on dates—allowing the reader to see how they fall in love with each other. The story definitely captures the romance which I really adored; I just wish it included a few more sexy times as Finn and Chloe made a great couple.

Told via Finn and Chloe’s alternating first person point of views, it’s about putting your heart on the line when you find the one. It’s a sweet holiday romance with low angst and plenty of romance. There’s also an engaging background story with their families.

Do you like:
* cheesy and predictable story?
* story about a guy who fucks around with every girl he sees, just because he didn’t find The One?
* story about a girl who is The One for him?
* no plot in a book?
* easy writing?
* cliches?
* snow, mountains and snowboarding?

Great. 25 days is perfect for you.

Do I like these things? Usually I do but not this time. The writing is good but the story not so much. Not worth to write a full review.

One of my favorite romance writers is Claire Adams as she goes for the Cinderella type stories but also chucks in the aspect of a theme I love to read about. In 25 Days, it is the countdown to Christmas. Ever since Chloe's mom passed away, she and her father's relationship has been estranged. It has been five years since she has spent Christmas vacation with her family, but with her degree coming to an end. Her dad has given her an ultimatum, come to their house in Aspen for Christmas - the month of December and then she will receive money to help her start her clothing line. Chloe reluctantly agrees and heads to Aspen. Here in Aspen, she will learn that life can throw curveballs and the most unexpected things can happen in a short period of time. Things like creating a stronger family bond and falling in love with both a guy and the snow in Aspen. Finn is your typical playboy who has a different woman warm his bed each night , he never remembers their names as he's not going to call them back , so why bother. That is until he meets Chloe who appears to be immune to his playboy charms. As the book goes on, they both start to see each other in a different light but what happens when they discover their fathers have a long-standing feud. Will their happily ever after be over before it even begins ? Then of course, tragedy ensues and if you are like me your breath will be held and you will go NOOOOOO how could Claire do this to us . 25 Days was a good romantic read and even include a favourite of mine - gaming and talking about video games like Resident Evil.

Goodreads Challenge for 2015 behind me now, so I’ll be doing some quick reads with lighter holiday subject matter from now until the first of the year. I’m ready for some happy, merry, cheery, jingly, ho-ho-hoing.

And 25 Days is exactly perfect to begin the ending of 2015 reads. Although the male lead is portrayed as a really bad boy, it might be a bit of an injustice to him. I loved him and even though he was a bit of a playboy with a one-night stand habit, he wasn’t nearly as bad as represented. And I really enjoyed the female lead whose father bribed her into returning to Aspen for a month during the holidays by presenting her with a proposal she couldn’t turn down. And there’s where Chloe encounters the gorgeous playboy, Finn, who works for his dad’s snow removal business.

The story is told from both Finn and Chloe’s POVs making it all the more personal and intimate. There is no insta-love involved, although their attraction to each other is from the start. Thus begins the fun of watching these two as they begin to know one another and build it into something more. There’s plenty of heat and lots of laughs. The mood is mostly light and endearing. From the setting to the characters and their romance, it makes for a merry and bright package of love.

One minor glitch comes in the form of a number of grammatical errors and plain old typos and incorrect word usage. A little distracting and totally easy fixes with a good proofread. Too bad that so many minor mistakes add up to an overload of lazy editing problems that discolor a really colorful read.

Otherwise, it satisfied my expectations for ho-ho-hoing!

A sweet, predictable romance is wrapped in inconsistencies and timeline irregularities. Although both characters are likable enough, I really didn't get their connection.

The obstacles they faced were dumb. Their dads' feud? Ridiculous. And the way Chloe's dad treated Finn was completely uncalled for and a bit unbelievable. I dunno. The whole book had too much of a new-adult vibe, and since Finn was twenty-seven, he acted a bit too immature to pull off the age. I just feel a man that age would have grown past having a different woman in his bed almost every night long before he met Chloe. Plus, the way the women who have slept with him act when they see him seemed really young. If he was sleeping with early-college-aged women, he's a bit of a creeper.

It did have its good parts. Parker was adorable. Finn's dad and his romance with Millie was a bright spot. However, it was too close to the other book I read by the same author for me to rate it any higher.

Claire Adams - 25 Days

Loved it. A very good story about 2 people in the midst of changing their lives. Chloe just graduated from university and is in Aspen for Christmas so her father will give her the seed money to start her own business. Finn is tired of being a manwhore and is looking for something more permanent. Chloe doesn't want to start anything with Finn because she intends to leave right after Christmas but Finn is persistent. Although he is interested in sex with Chloe, he's willing to wait and actually date her and get to know her. Then they discover there is history between their fathers, and not a good one?
Very nice story.

When Chloe graduates from college her dad wants her to go to Aspen to spend time with him and his brother. They haven't been close since her mom passed and Chloe didn't want to go but her dad wanted her there for 25 days and he will help her start her business. When she gets there she never thought she meet her dream guy but Finn is known as a ladies man which Chloe doesn't want anything to do with him. With Finn having lost his mom they have a connection but also their dad's are at war with each other. Can Chloe get past Finn sleeping around and can Finn finally be with only one woman? I enjoyed this story from the beginning and loved the interaction with Finn and Chloe

I can't even remember the name of this girl....and why would I want to. Within the first few sentences she is easily identified as a shallow person who is spineless when it comes to breaking up with her boyfriend yet the author tries to get us to like her with some talk of beating her little brother on a video game!!! I've just spent a whole month on a book where I waited to no avail for more quality and originality.....I'm not doing it again.

This is a really cute story but the lack of editing became quite annoying! Chloe and Finn have a lot in common. They both have selfish, controlling fathers who have no problem blackmailing them into doing whatever these two tyrants want. Finn wants to open a family style resort. Chloe wants to design clothes but their dream-killing fathers have other plans for them. Time for Chloe and Finn to stand up and be the grown-a$$ people they claim they are!

A sexy romance between a beautiful, budding fashion designer from California and the gorgeous, athletically inclined, local heartthrob she meets when she goes home to Colorado for the winter...

They discover, after their initially combustible meeting and equally fiery encounters that follow, that they're connected by the fates due to their fathers, Jonathan and Clark, having had a rocky history that involved a competition over Finn's now deceased mother. As Jonathan later met, fell in love with, married and had children with Chloe's and Parker's (her sixteen year old brother) mother who also passed away, there should've been an end to the feud Clarke and Jonathan have carried on up through the present. After Chloe and Finn are inexplicably, uncontrollably drawn to each other despite Jonathan's dire warnings and threats, subsequent events supersede and override even Chloe's concerns raised by her father against Finn, and.the two decide their love and future together is more important - unavoidable even -- which brings the two old friends back together again. Lovely Christmas story of hope, the belief in true love, and destiny wrapping everything up nicely in a tidy bow for our two young lovers, who, BTW, have some of the hottest romps together! Five stars for a wonderful story about a converted bad boy who went from never discriminating against any size, shape, or color of female falling into his bed to being completely head-over-heels, possessive AF, addicted to one beautiful, brainy, talented, blonde, newly graduated designer who originally planned on staying in Colorado for just twenty-five days before returning to California. Plans can always change, right, just.as.people can change what's most important to them in life after only a couple of weeks. ☺

After college graduation, Chloe's father offers her the money to start her business, but at a price. Finn has always been known as the town playboy and is finally ready to come out of that name. Instant attraction blooms, but she is determined that her goals are elsewhere. Will Chloe be able to join her family together again? Will be able to prove he is in it for the long haul?

Loved how this was a reverse of the normal story like this. I loved how Chloe stood up to her father and was able to get him to see what was going wrong. I loved how Finn was determined to do what it took to keep Chloe and prove that he wanted her. Great read!

Its the first book that I read from this author and I have to say that the book is good but it could had being better. declaring the main male character as a male whore and than he change cause he met the female character yeah. A man Whore is not gone change his way right away. Beside that the story was too long it could had being short. but it was a cute story

Honestly regretting reading this after a few chapters and decided to push through… and nothing changed. Every few chapters I regretted not giving up but then got more determined to finish it as I read even though it never improved. Concept was cute enough and had decent moments but overall not good. Read like a short trashy novel but dragged on for the length of a normal novel. If it was about half the length (which could have been done without changing anything) I might not have hated it but it was way to long for what it was.

I just loved this story. Each of the characters have been through similar things in the past and it’s effected the paths they’ve taken in life. Each of their lives are connected in more ways than they realize and they all have to work together to overcome the emotions from the past.

Arc review for honest review. Chloe is going home to Aspen she is a designer and her father makes her deal. Finn works with his dad and his business of shoveling and plowing snow ,but when their fathers hatred overshadows the relationship it might just break them all. Very cute

The story was good, sweet, and had just the right amount of drama. Finn really isn't a bad boy, so I don't like that title from him. He is never an asshole, never selfish to anyone, and wears his heart on his sleeve. He is a manwhore who has a different woman in his bed every night, but it turns out the use him for sex too.

Chloe is a good heroine, but I thought she could be a little more....something. I honestly love the both dads and Parker, the brother. They made this story so much more to me.

Here is my biggest problem: this book needs some serious editing. There are so many mistakes, and many are elementary, that I'd be willing to edit this shit for free. Two, too, and to are interchanged, on is one, words are used in the past and present tense incorrectly, complete words are missing to complete sentences, I think the word hell was written as sell, which confused me the first couple times I read the sentence...the list goes on and on. Sometimes it was so horrible that I seriously couldn't figure out what the heck the author meant to write.

To top it off, Chloe is constantly telling everyone ain't isn't a word. I SERIOUSLY FELT LIKE BANGING MY FREAKIN HEAD AGAINST THE WALL IN ANNOYANCE. Don't have your character inundate us with the validity of the word ain't, when your book reads like it has been published without being edited!

Loved it!

What a perfect book to read this time of year! I wanted to get on a mountain and go skiing but I don't ski any more lol! Chloe just graduated from UCLA , she wants to design fashion and have her own clothing line. She goes home to Colorado because her Dad basically bribes her. Daddy's rich with his own winter clothing line. She meets Flinn the town manwhore. They try to be friends but the chemistry is to strong . This is a really good read, loved every page. Hated being interrupted so much while reading it. I just wanted to curl up with a blanket and get lost in this book. I highly recommend reading this book now, it'll get you in the Christmas spirit and wanting to go skiing or snowboarding! I really enjoyed the other characters in the book. The brother, father, Finns Dad they all play a huge part in it. I'm going to miss these characters .

The summary doesn't do the book justice. I read the Amazon summary and was like this guy sounds like an asshole. I didn't really know if I was going to enjoy it, but I was like it's the Christmas season and I haven't read anything Christmas based, so I started reading. Ends up the guy wasn't at all the kind of asshole the summary made him seem like. At no point in the book did I feel like he was as annoying as I was thinking he was going to be. This really proves the rumors that some book summaries really let the books down. I did find it to be a bit cheesy, but what do you really expect. Some romance novels kind of just fall into that trap. All in all it wasn't outstanding like I'm going to read this every year, but it sure made me smile.

Another book Of Claire Adams that I like. This was another sweet, fun, loving story just with a hint of more drama to it, but not overly done.

Family issues, strong decisions, willingness, and love are some of the things you will find inside this book.

I also found a few slight editorial errors more tours the end, but those who read and pay attention could get pass them without getting a bit confuse (ex. "she woke up Saturday to her phone ringing".... then in another paragraph part of this one it says" my dad must be at lunch with a date because he don't work Sunday's" something like that anyways the days were confuse), but like I said it didn't bother me cause I understood anyways. I still like Claire Adams book and will still continue reading more from her.

It took the cold to thaw out her heart!

*i received this ARC in exchange for an honest review*

So this was one of the sweetest love stories ever written by Ms. Claire Adams!

So unlike any of her previous books I was prepared for the usual steamy scenes and obnoxious bad boys she writes about, BUT, I was sorely mistaken and taken for a beautiful ride in this book.

Chloe and Finn are your modern day Romeo and Juliet story where their father's are at war and do not want their children to be together. Through all they endure with each other, their love comes hard and fast knocking them both out with cupid's arrow!

If you're looking for a fast read and a sweet love story with some steaminess thrown in this is the book to read!
