Predictable and a bit cheesy but makes for a sweet shifter holiday romance
~3.5 stars~
This made for a decent little holiday quick read. Here's my breakdown:
The pros:
* Offered as kindleunlimited
* I liked the holiday feel and that the hero was a reindeer shifter - it was cute
The cons:
* No depth to the characters or storyline
* insta-love extreme
* overly predictable and cliche
If you are looking for a simple and quick holiday shifter read this one will do the trick.

Fun Christmas story
Ever heard of a reindeer shifter? Well, neither had I until this book! A short book with adventure, laughs, and a sweet story.
The characters are fun and grab your heart quickly. From a near disaster to hot romance which quickly develops into love. Blitz and Riley share a love for helping children have a great Christmas - something we all like to do. Together, they save Christmas for children in Georgia, when a nasty ex-boyfriend absconds with all of the charity money raised for the gifts.
A definite must-read for those loving sweet stories they can read quickly.

Blitz and Riley
Riley was on her way to her friends house after some upsetting issues. She needs the comfort of her friend. However, with the bad roads in the snowstorm she ends up in a dangerous position in which Blitz saves her.
This was a fact paced instalove story. But why did they never have the discussion of who blitz really was and who he worked for. I was so hoping to read about it.

2.5 Ok so I didn’t really know what I was getting into with this one since I read it because an ep of a podcast I listen to was going to be covering it, and I did NOT expect what i found. I never could have guessed in a million years that this would be about a human fucking one of Santa’s friggin reindeers!! But it made me laugh (not always in ways the author intended, to be fair), and I finished it. So 2.5 stars it is! It was a surreal little ditty of a book.

Rileys just turn for the worst when her car goes into the lake in Idaho. After her ex-fiancé and boss steals money that suspense to help the families for Christmas. He even cheat on her as well.
Blitz was order to relax at the family cottage for a while when he hears a noise and see a car in the lake. He goes to help the person out to find it's his fated mate and that throws him for a loop. Will he be able to convice her that their meant to be together.

I discovered Buck Me... For Christmas because one of my favorite podcasts discussed it in an episode and since it was a short read about shifters, I thought I’d give it a go. I had gotten the impression that the hosts weren’t the craziest about the book, but I know that paranormal/shifters romances can be a little harder to get into when you’re not used the genre, so I chalked it up to that being their reasoning for not really loving the book. Now, that I’ve read Buck Me... For Christmas I can understand where they’re coming from. I don’t know if I was just in a snarky mood, but I couldn’t get lost in Riley and Blitz’s story, I’m not usually one to harp on how realistic something is or on instalove, but my mind was on that and other aspects and I just wasn’t a big fan of it all. I finished it because I knew it wouldn’t take me a long to get through it and I don’t regret picking it up, but I don’t think it’s likely that I’ll pick up the other books in this series. Buck Me... For Christmas wasn’t bad, there were parts that I enjoyed even if they were a bit ridiculous, but in a way that was fun. If you want a light, quick instalovey read that is kind of punny, I’d say go for it, it’ll keep you busy for around an hour or so.

I love Christmas themed stories and saw this box set in KU. Have read this author previously.
Simple quick read that has everything happening in fast time. Enjoyable but do not expect anything more than an insta story.
Heroine crashes into lake, hero saves her, they have sex nearly straight away. Hero thinking they cannot be together due to who he is. Fast forward and they are getting married.
Cute little story but too quick for it to have any depth for the plot or characters. Felt like I was on a runaway train at times. No real development of either H. I know very little more about them than I did at the start.
Blitz’s job is never revealed to Riley.
This does not take away from the fun of the story but it obviously has links to a series I have not read.

This book was entirely way to short. I normally do not read books with less than 120 pages but thought I would give it a try. It was OK but will not be reading again.

The author has given a very descriptive narrative of the story, but suffice to say it was another excellent well-written and thoroughly enjoyable read. Riley is on her way to Shifter Grove, but the atrocious driving conditions on the snowed-in roads, and her lack of attention worrying about how her life has turned out, sees her out of control and heading for the bottom of a lake. Just when Riley thinks it’s all over, she comes face to face with the most gorgeous chestnut eyes she had ever seen. Blitz is frustrated; it is not the relaxing vacation it usually is. He has given control to his Buck to let his human side calm down, but it was having the opposite effect. His brothers were out making deliveries, while he is stuck in Idaho. Rescuing Riley, Blitz takes her to his cabin where she tells him her story of woe. Blitz is not the kind of person to share, but he finds himself opening up to Riley which in itself is a mystery to him. But what was fate doing sending Riley to him the night before his hardest few days of work of the whole year. Watching Blitz leave was bittersweet. Riley had had a night she would never forget; Blitz had saved her from certain death, made her laugh and intrigued her on every level possible – then he had left. But that isn’t the end of their relationship; it seems a Christmas miracle was just beginning. Again, a lovely enchanting story that was a pleasure to read. What a wonderful Christmas story. Running from life Riley heads to the woods to visit her friend .
Riley is caught in a winter snowstorm,her vehicle spins out of control and lands on a frozen pond.
She hears what she thinks are hoofbeats just before her car plunges through the broken ice and begins to filled with freezing water.
Blitz frost in his reindeer form here's a strange noise and goes to investigate just in time to see the car careening down the mountainside and into the freezing water. Blitz to the rescue but now what is he to do with the human woman freezing in his arms. He knows what he would like to do but because of who he is and what he does he doesn't think it's right to get involved when he knows he'll be leaving the following day. Reilly awakens to find herself clutched in the arms of a hunky stranger. She has thoughts of what to do and boy are they naughty

Cute, Short, No Depth
Blitz is a carabou shifter (a.k.a. reindeer). He was out strolling along, running off some pent up aggression, when he sees a vehicle rolling down a hill, landing on a frozen lake. crack! Ice breaks, down goes the land ship and all its cargo. Of course, Riley is right there with it. What an end to the worst year of her life. Drowning with everything left she has dear, right after her cheating boyfriend runs off with her charity's money. The same money meant to take care of Christmas for children unable to have a good one.
I have a huge problem with the plot. There are hints of something big about the family, and (yes, haha, I get the reference) he works, basically, for Santa, but it isn't the real deal Santa. It's unclear where the money comes from. Is it a huge charity, or is it some large company that is similar to Santa's workshop? So much of his life goes unanswered. I just can't give more than 2 stars.

A dashing buck and a sexy piece of eye candy falls for a beautiful full figured voluptuous human. Yes Dash had used her as a cover but in doing so got a lot back. Blair was getting over a breakup and said tonight she was gonna take life by the horns. Well, the horns a cometh. All 6'5 of pure hotness that made her feel alive. Electricity flowing throw her like pure adrenaline being pumped just from the feel of him against her. They both assumed a one night stand was all they wanted but fate had other plans. Dash never thought he would find a woman who could deal with his workaholic ways. Blair worked magic on him although it was his family that had the magic touch. It was fast and riveting to read. Cannot wait for the next book in the frost brothers. Who's next, Vix, Ru, the twins Don and Dan...can not wait.

Blitz is a reindeer shifter, steaming over being stuck in Idaho, until the unexpected happens and he watches as a jeep rolls into a frozen lake. Bursting into action he rushes to help.
Ok, this was too cute! It's a quick read but full of some smoking sweet loving! This is a great twist for a Christmas romance. It's cleverly written, uncomplicated and fun to read. You'll look at reindeer at Christmas a lot differently after this one *wink*. If you're looking for a fun, light, feel good romance this is a great one to pick up.

I sooo loved this story!!!
Christmasy,fast paced and hot hot hot.
Despite the fact that the story is taking place in the winter with freezing temperatures these two characters have soooooome explosive chemistry between them.
It really is refreshing and inventive how she turned the classic santa with the sleight and the reindeers story...totally loved it!
Still despite the fact that the story was really nice and intresting and really cool in my opinion it could be longer and more explenative of things.
It could give out more info!
Also i hope that at some point we get to see all of the brothers stories.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Okay, this holiday story made me laugh out loud. Riley Seston has had SO much bad luck/karma in her life – not why I laughed – that she decides to go to Shifter Grove, Idaho to visit her friend at Christmas. Of course, bad things follow her and she has an accident before she can reach her friend. Never fear, she is rescued by a were reindeer and the hijinks commence! No spoilers but Riley figuring out what is going on in Shifter Grove makes a fun read. It will make you laugh and wonder why you haven’t read a story with this take on the holidays before.

This is book 7 in the Shifter Grove Brides series. In this one we meet a curvy woman who just found out her boyfriend left her for a model and stole all the money from the charity. On her way to visit her girlfriend in Shifter Grove she's driving thru a blizzard when her jeep goes of the road and lands on the ice. She is rescued from her car by a Buck shifter named Blitz. Now not to be funny here but is anyone else hearing the reindeer song with that name??????? He drops hints about his job but i am still thinking Sanata. Will they become mate? Will he rescue her charity? What is up next?

what if you see someone in trouble and feel the need to save them but to also find so much more but that you too are a workaholic as well especially during the holidays . but it is so much more than a charity .
and what if you meet the one can these two find each other and keep each other or will fate decide for them both . find out bu buying or use KU. is you have it in which is what i am doing and love the Shifter Groves series .

Riley's life is going downhill, but the night she's about to have is going to add icing on that horrible cake. Riley soon finds herself in a life and death situation, but she never counted on Blitz coming to her rescue. Blitz is looking to recharge his batteries before Christmas arrives and he goes full throttle for work, but he's thrown for a loop when Riley crashes into his life. Sparks start to fly and the heat is turned up. How can Blitz tell Riley who he is and who he works for. A nice fast paced read perfect for the holiday season.

This is a fun series for Christmas about shifters who have a connection to St. Nicholas. Another brother finds his mate when he rescues her from drowning. Riley has had a bad year but meeting Blitz is definitely making things better. He is her hero and they feel intense chemistry. He is used to focusing on work and not sure that he can make a change but you got to have hope at Christmas.
It is a quick read and a lot of fun to read. I recommend the other stories in the series too.

Blitz saves Riley after she has an accident in her car. The weather is really bad. It was a lovely happy feel good read and everything about it made you want more. Yes it had a magical touch to it and loved the names of Blitz's brothers. ha ha a nice touch. Blitz is a sexy reindeer and he makes you say - yes Ding Dong you can ring my bell

What a great fun story. Riley comes to Shifter Grove to have christmas with her fires Claire. While driving in a snow storm she slides over a cliff into a lake. She is rescued by Blitz a reindeer. I wonder who he could be? He saves more than her life that night. I loved this story and give this must read 5 stars.

this story is perfect for this season, Blitz is one of 9 brothers who are reindeer shifters who only work during winter, Riley is visiting her friend Claire after her boyfriend stole everything from the charity she worked for, crashing into Blitz life was a shock for them both and Christmas love and true mates are perfect
