I have mixed feelings about this collection. While I seriously love the Omega Awakening series, Omega Adored, and Omega Beloved Reimagined, the extra pieces never before released were really bad. I would advise anyone like me who already bought the other really good pieces separately (see above) not to waste the money with allure of the unpublished pieces. If you don't own the other items then this is a great deal to get them all. Here are my views of each of the extra pieces:
Omega's Escape has a lot of extraneous things going on in it and it was hard to figure out what the rules of the shifter world were. The story read like a first draft. There were many, many errors in it, not just tense shifting or disagreeing but also a number of places where it was impossible to figure out a sentence. One of my favorite quotes was this one when they are undressing: "His sick pack was prominent of his chest, but still slender". Huh? Too many holes in the story as well.
Omega's Cursed Shoes contained tons of plot holes. I can't point them out without creating spoilers. While the concept was good, the characters acted in irrational ways that irritated me to the point that I didn't finish the story.
Dark Wolf I had to quit reading because every character in it including and especially the main character Toby was a dark and deplorable person. The parents are cardboard cartoon-like characters. Toby is violent and self-centered with no attachment to anyone that I could see by the point that I gave up.
One other thing that irritated me was the way the collection was formatted. The table of contents is difficult to navigate since things are grouped by series but not broken down with individual hyperlinks. As an example, it was hard to get to the individual books in the Omega Awakening series (volume five is a very different story and you might, for instance want to reread that one and not straight through the whole series) so you have to page through books 1-4 or try to figure out from the untitled drop down table of contents (Kindle reader app) which it is.
Omega escape is lame, no character development, background or plot. It feels like a 12yo fanfiction. Cursed shoes has a gore tint that breaks any possible romance, it also badly written to the point you don't understand what's going on. Omega family series is boring, there's some idea of plot but it gets lost in the middle of all the useless information, scenes and dialogues. Omega Beloved by Aiden Bates is the only meaningful work. It has some flaws and I don't appreciate the passing. But the romance it's beautiful, the plot is painful yet rewarding. I plan to purchase the book alone if I can find it. Omega adore has just as much drama as Beloved, but where there's purpose and reward in Beloved, there's none in adore. I found it desperating and annoying. The Omega awakening series, the 5 books, are quite lame. Specially the first 3 revolving around the first couple. There's some nuggets of interest and the idea was good. But the development was rushed and boring, so you end up again with a 12yo fanfic. The 4th book, omega unchained, is the most interesting and yet I have no desire to keep it. The 5th, Omega rising was a possible first attempt of double timing, with a poetic style of writing. The result is messy, boring and so slow you feel a visceral need to skip pages to end. Love among vampires could have been interesting but it seems it was mostly designed for a filler. Thou the idea were intriguing and I did read it at normal pace. Dark wolf was borinh, annoying and without a purpose.
So in the end, since from 15 books I would keep 1, the anthology is a waste of money.
This book was hard to get through at times. Trying to get pass men having babies was bad enough but the grammatical errors were atrocious. I am an open minded person and some of the stories were cute. Who doesn't love a happily ever after. It was so long and some of the stories were just bad all around. I probably wouldn't read anything like this again. It was too much.
