Tara pleasantly surprised this new reader with engaging prose and delectable swoonworthy sex.
I recently was invited to be part of a podcast that read & review newer authors. Tara being new to me, I dived in head first this MFM Ménage Romance. There's so much heart in the story. Tara emphasizes on the emotional relations with same fervor as she does the sizzling hot sexual chemistry shared by Anthropology professor of NYU - Bailey Moore, and her two ardent suitors.
“Daniel Hartman - billionaire CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Sebastian Ardalan, the youngest chef to earn two Michelin stars."
I liked the premise, they meet at the pool table in a club and genuinely hit it off.
Bailey who has recently left an emotionally abusive bf Trevor, is full of insecurities and body issues due to her narcissistic douchebag she was with.
Sebastian and Daniel worship her from the word go.
This affirms the power of positive energy and manifestations a lot.
Tara keeps the reader engaged with ever turning story, dripping with passionate threesomes and heart-to-heart connections.
I quite liked her writing style. It's taut and slick and doesn't let your gaze waver even for a minute.
4 star for Deep Pool Of Relaxation

This is the beginning of another great series by Tara Crescent. Bailey has a boyfriend that talks down to her and makes fun of her curvy figure, why she's with him is beyond me but luckily she breaks up with him pretty quickly at the beginning of the book (but it was an eleven month relationship). Now Bailey is out for revenge :) and why not hit him where it will hurt. Trevor plays pool on a team so this gives Bailey the idea of joining a team and hopefully she learns to play well enough that she can beat him in a pool tournament. Now that brings us to one very sexy chef and an even sexier billionaire. Sebastian and Daniel play on the pool team that Bailey joins and its lust at first sight!

Daniel, Sebastian and Bailey are all workaholics and they don't have much time for anything else much less a relationship, but hey a little fun never killed anyone. It starts off with the men teaching Bailey how to play pool and then it gets, better, and better, and better. I loved this book, it was longer then most of the books that Tara Crescent normally writes and I couldn't have been more thrilled because it allowed for the for the relationship to grow more naturally instead of feeling rushed. I look forward to reading more of this series. The next book is about Bailey's friend Gabby, hope its out soon!

3.5 stars. This was a pretty good book! This was a menage romance between Bailey, an NYU anthropology professor, Sebastian, a famous chef and restauranteur, and Daniel, a super rich businessman. Bailey breaks up with a jerkwad boyfriend after he has put her down and treated her badly too many times. The final straw was when he humiliated her at his pool league get together. She decides to get revenge on him by learning to play pool and joining a rival league for a chance to beat him in the league finals. At her pool league, she meets Sebastian and Daniel. They are best friends who have shared women in the past. They have immediate chemistry with Bailey. She is unsure because her self esteem has taken a hit and she thinks they are out of her league. But they convince her that they really like her and the three of them begin a relationship. There is a bit of drama as each of their lives face difficulties with work (an alcoholic sous chef, a controlling business manager, a domineering uncle, and more), but they are able to make it through together and happy. I really liked Bailey, Sebastian and Daniel. I thought they were good well-developed characters. They were sweet together. The problems they faced in their personal lives were easy to believe and gave a touch of realism that a book like this (a fantasy come to life) needs. All in all, this was a cute little menage romance! This was my first book by Tara Crescent but will not be my last!

I love this book! Tara Crescent is now a favourite author of mine.

This was a hot, sweet and low angst MFM menage romance with depth. The characters were likeable and three dimensional be it the nerdy strong h with an adventurous streak, the workaholic billionaire with generations of family pressure on him and the chef trying to outgrow the past( nothing to do with any woman). All the MCs were good to each other and the poker tournament part made it extra fun.

5 stars!

The smutty mood continued and picked another book from Kindle Unlimited to give a chance to another author. This time I enjoyed the writing and the plot of the book and the characters are good.
"The Bet" was my first read from this author. I was impressed. The overall quality of writing was really good, especially for an MFM story. Usually, on the quick and cheesy side, The Bet, DIDN'T fall into that category. Exciting events and several tense moments with life-changing choices that need to take place.
I am continuing with the series because I want to find out menage stories of the other members of The Thursday Night Club that takes place on Mondays, and their love interests.

The best bet

A bet you don't mind having made. This was my first read from this author. I was impressed. Overall quality of writing was really good especially for a MFM story. Usually on the quick and cheesey side, The Bet, DIDN'T fall into that category. Chapters were short and at times I wish Ms. Crescent would have finished a scene she started. I would have loved to see some of the nasty characters get what was implied. Intimacy scenes were not over the top and too could have been more in depth. I'd gladly give a 5 🌟 if that would be done. No cheating or cliffhanger and the story ends on a happy note.

Bailey, Sebastian and Daniel were hot together. I liked the alpha males and how sassy Bailey could be. It was a sweet sexy story but it did seem to lack something for me. Maybe it was the ending, I would have liked an epilogue to see their future life and where it went. Maybe we get a glimpse of them in future books since the next book revolves around Baileys good friend Gabby. Hopefully that is the case.

At the start of this one, Bailey's personal life really goes to hell fast. It did led her to good things, the first of which is wanting to best her ex at pool, which lead her to Daniel and Sebastian. From there her life really picked up, she just had to trust the guys and life would be good.

It was interesting to see Bailey's friends give her the push to start/continue something with Daniel and Sebastian. They could see how the guys were good for her. And Bailey was good for the guys. It gave both of them a break from their high stressed life to just be and have some fun.

All three of them faced challenges at the end, but by sticking together in their trio, they were able to come out ahead and can face the future know they have people by their side to support them.

Love conquers all?

The bet, never know if it's a good idea to put that much stakes on a bet. But luckily they all worked out after so much up and downs and working together to conquer the fall out.

I give this 4 cups of hot java, ☕☕☕☕. Good fun read that had me anticipating the end result and so glad love got them through it all.

Decent MFM

I was hoping for some MM too, but this was still a decent story. There were some jumps in logic and emotion, rather than a slow build. This story would be amazing if it had a little more meat on its bones.

I hadn’t read anything by this author before but I must say she is firmly on my TBR list now. This was a super read, funny, charming and certainly steamy.
Bailey is a clever woman, making her way up the academic ladder at NYU but isn’t it often the case that a smart woman gets caught up with a worthless man. But good on her when she eventually made her mind up that she deserved better and dumped his sorry butt!
Unfortunately Trevor wasn’t done being a douche – and I have to say that his little tantrum and pathetic gesture was such a nasty move that the little I had thought of him up until that point went flying out of the window – really man get a life!
But he has forced her hand, she needs to find the money to meet his demand and what is better than taking his infantile fight into his playpen…this professional pool player is about to get played in the best possible way because Bailey decides to beat him at his own game…literally!
I was smiling from ear to ear at this point – you go girl!
So with her mind made up, she only has one problem – she needs to learn to play and that quest, with a little shove from her girlfriends brings her into contact with Daniel and Sebastian – a two for one deal that she wasn’t expecting.
This pool team is one I definitely want to be joining…please!
Now this dynamic duo are the best of friends and that is probably for the best because adding Bailey into their mix was a stroke of genius. But they are dead set on helping her to dish Trevor up a lesson that he will never forget and quickly set about showing Bailey the ropes.
Powerful men in their own right, this sexy billionaire and kick ass super chef had it all going on and left nothing behind. But when they start to feel more than friendship growing between them and Bailey I was relieved that the author gave them plenty to build on.
But keeping their delectations out of the public eye is a full time job for them both and they are perfectly well aware that there are those that would love to share their personal relationships with the world for nothing more than salacious gossip, so they have to find a way to make this work – that is something they both agree on.
They were normal in many respects but they were extraordinary in others and the relationship that developed between the three of them was perfect for them. They nurtured Bailey in many respects, definitely more than she considered but it was beautiful to see the confidence that they not only gave but encouraged her to find in herself.
Between the sheets and anywhere else they could imagine they were smouldering and they just worked so well together but they also worked independently and that was refreshing – they had lives to lead and they had roles to fulfil, I just hoped that they were able to do that together?
Could they keep their private life, private?
Oh and more to the point, could Bailey teach Trevor the lesson he so richly deserved?
Fingers were crossed!!!

4.5 Stars from Renee & Brianna!

Tara Crescent is a brand new author for us and man are we glad we picked up this series. Having not read her before, we were excited and she did not let us down. We have a dirty little secret in the romance novels we read, we love m/m/f & m/f/m romances. The are so risque... taboo... naughty... but so delicious. And Tara? Knocked it out of the park.

The Playing For Love series is a three book series with standalone novels in each. We are introduced to three dynamic trios that bring steam, lust, love, intensity, and passion to the pages. The heat poured out of our kindles and lit up our panties. We swooned. We smiled. We laughed. We got angry. But most importantly, we fell madly, deeply in love.

In this first book of the series, we meet Bailey, Sebastian and Daniel. Bailey has just been dumped in an abdominal way and now she wants to even the score. Enter Sebastian and Daniel... two playboys who have a keen desire to share women. When they meet Bailey, they find her intriguing and unique. But more, they want her all for themselves.

Wow, we loved these three together. From the beginning, we instantly connected with Bailey. She was smart, witty, and the kind of girl you could be besties with. And her men... smart, sexy, wealthy, accomplished, and fascinating. What starts out as lessons of pool and seduction, quickly turn into something... more... real... and worth fighting for.

We highly recommend this book.

description

I liked this story. It was fun, steamy, full of chemistry, an actual story, and the characters were just right. There was enough sassy conversation to off set the chemistry.
Bailey has had a miserable love life and decides that she isn't going to put up with it anymore. Getting rid of Trevor what the best thing she could have done. Her friends couldn't agree more. She decides she wants to learn how to play pool well enough to put Trevor in his place..
In come Daniel and Sebastian... hot hot and more hot. They set their eyes on Bailey and don't take them off. They learn of her revenge story and tell her they will "coach" her. She gets the innuendo and promptly agrees. She only sees it as temporary anyway, i mean how can they like someone like her, she is chubby. This is what goes through her mind repeatedly, since Daniel and Sebastian are so hot and so well off...they can't possibly like her or think she is beautiful, as they keep telling her.
Once she finally gets it, things get sticky LOL.. Scandals happen, relationship status is talked about, etc.
Does it all work out? You will just have to read and find out

An Awesome Read!

I loved reading Betting on Bailey (Menage MfM Romance Novel) (Playing For Love Book 1), all about Bailey an Assistant Anthropology Teacher at NYU & Chef Sebastian Arandale and his BFF Daniel Hartman the CEO of Hartman Conglomerate and a Billionaire. They all met when Bailey joins their Pool Team, she needs to beat her Ex-Trevor at pool and she needs to learn very quickly! The first night she meets her team, Clark, Juliette, Sebastian & Daniel at the Maxwell Club. She tells them that she is not very good and really needs help, after the night Sebastian & Daniel tell her they will take her on, teach her the game plus they want to get to know her better! The author wrote a very interesting story and the characters make the story come to life. I loved reading this hot, steamy book and loved getting very wet while reading it! I can't wait to read book 2!

Good ménage story

This was a good ménage story, I thought the build up was great and the end was okay but I'm a revengeful girl so I would have rubbed it in more.......

The writing style is good and easy, no unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and a good amount of dialogues which makes it nice to read.

Well described characters and with enough feelings so that you get to know them.

There is some great love scenes in there too so it gets hot once in a while.

I liked this story but there was just some feelings missing, and stay assured it's personal, for me it's 4 wobbly stars.

I would've upped it to 4 stars but Bailey kept complaining about her weight and wondering why hot guys like Daniel & Sebastian would want her. The guys make it clear that they like her body type and she needs to not focus on her weight. Decent story with mystery and spice. Someone is sabotaging Daniel's business empire and Sebastian's Michelin restaurant reviews. Bailey has an emotionally abusive ex that she wants revenge on so begins the guys teaching her to play pool with some extra "games". Her friends are a good support group and small stories to lead into the next book in the series. Fast read and an extra novella on meeting the throuple's parents.

Betting on Bailey

Tara Crescent is a new author for me and one I’ll be reading a lot more of. I love menage and Tara writes them so well. Bailey was such a believable character, insecure about her body and looks like most women out there but when she meets two hunky men they only see her. Their love for Bailey brings out her inner beauty and strength but also makes both men address their own demons and insecurities. Its a quick read with betrayal and intrigue so grab you copy today, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to read Piper’s story.

Oh my lord, what a ride

First of all, read this book.

Secondly,no, seriously, read this book.

In short, three central characters, about a dozen secondary ones, a fairly solid plot, and enough eroticism to sate almost anyone.

Bailey, Sebastian, and Daniel are perhaps a little cliche, but cliches exist because they work. The plot was just real enough to enthrall without overwhelming the romantic aspects.

Seriously considering the sequel already.

I love this hot sassy story. I love the main three resilient strong characters. Hard workers who learn to play harder. Sebastian, Daniel & Bailey - a wicked combination. Tara has created a multi-layered reading experience which captures the readers enthusiasm & maintains it with pace & plot twists not to mention the menage material. Great book - will be looking out for more if Tara' s work.

Is it possible for this relationship to thrive and find love?

The Bet is the first book in the Menage in Manhattan series. Bailey desperately wants to get back at her ex, and what better way than to crush him at his own game. When she shows up to learn more about pool, she doesn’t expect the chemistry between Sebastian and Daniel, and definitely doesn’t expect the bet they place on her behalf. But when the three of them are being pulled in three different directions, is it possible for this relationship to thrive and find love?

Wow! What a book! What a relationship! Seriously, these couples really have to go through a lot to find their happily ever after, and not only that, but they need to figure out what’s most important in their lives together and separately. Sebastian, Daniel, and Bailey make a phenomenal team and I loved both their connection and their chemistry! Bailey is timid at times, but can also be ferocious. I loved her determination and I adored that she wanted to fight for what she loved. Sebastian and Daniel are famous and rich and already are best friends, so it was nice to see them find something they wanted more than work. All three of them needed to learn to give and take and not be quite so workaholic in their natures, so I loved when they were able to kick back and just be. There’s a lot that happens in this book, drama from all three sides of their relationship, so definitely buckle up because this book takes you on a ride! I love that we get introduced to the other ladies in this series and we get little sprinkles of what might happen next in this series! I really enjoyed reading this book and can’t wait to read the next one in the series!

prepare for a heat warning 🔥

I think this is my favourite read in I didn’t know how long. This is so incredibly hot and sexy, I thought I’d be reading a ménage story… you know how it goes all intense sex, but this one was a great story of the curvy gorgeous woman hellbent on coming for revenge on an ex playing pool… yeah I know how it sounds but Hang for a minute ok?
When Bailey Moore is totally disrespected and embarrassed after her boyfriend she finally walks out, but wants total revenge on his bad attitude. She just needs to learn how to play pool well like beat the big leagues… enter Sebastian and Daniel, a hotshot chef and a billionaire, together they are smart and funny but they are so very sexy… and they are going to teach Bailey to play more then just pool.

As an associate professor at NYU, she really had to fly below the radar, but when 2 super sexy men enter into her life, life as she knows it changes permanently! Sebastian and Daniel make the ultimate bet, 50 grand Bailey will beat the douchbag in a tournament, and will the hearts in the hottest ménage relationship ever!!!

Daniel and Sebastian open up the flower that is Bailey, while changing their own lives. Up tight Daniel trying to save the company his father ran, and Sebastian the hotshot owner of 2 successful restaurants start to live a new life… they both want Bailey, and she’s more then happy to share it with these men!!!

And does Bailey win the bet??? You’ll have to read and find out. Just me you definitely want to. This is my first read from Tara but certainly won’t be my last.

Till next time ❤️

I loved this book so much, I read it in one go and couldn’t put it down! I loved the different point of views between the three characters and their interaction with each other. Not only because the sexy scenes were steaming hot, but also the feelings between the three of them were beautifully written.
Bailey is the heroine in this story, she’s an assistant professor in cultural anthropology and she’s just got out of a bad relationship with a mentally abusive pool-playing boyfriend. As a redhead she is fiercely determined to pay him back – by winning a game of pool against him. However how to do that when she s*cks at playing pool. Her friends come to the rescue and they convince someone to take her into a group of pool playing guys and girls.
Two hot guys make a rash bet that they will coach her to learn to play a winning game of pool and as they are both such hotties, learning pool leads to a steamy ménage as well.
She wasn’t supposed to want them and she thinks she shouldn’t have become romantically involved with both of them, but she couldn’t resist.
After a while all hell breaks loose, but can the three of them face the loss of everything they have worked for their whole lives and the question rise: can their love survive?

This is my first read from this author after I discovered this book advertised on a FB book blog. The cover and the blurb had me really intrigued. Usually when it comes to Menage stories, I'm always 50/50 on them as a lot of the previous stories I have read focused entirely on the sexual encounters/scenes and everything else is lost from the first chapter.

But for me I found this book to be the complete opposite. Yes, it does have quite a few really steamy sex scenes involving the three main characters Bailey, Daniel and Sebastian. We're given a chance to read a little backstory about each character in the opening chapters and progressively throughout the entire book.

I really enjoyed this book, it was gripping, it was explosive with heat and the sex scenes were described in a tasteful manner. I'm really surprised that I haven't heard of Tara Crescent before today (well technically last night when I purchased a copy of this book) Her way of writing and telling a story is amazing, it really kept me hooked until the last page.

This story has a bit of everything, well for me it did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and will be adding Tara Crescent to my list of authors to keep a look out for in the future.

This book was a completely pleasant surprise!

Adults! Adults who communicate! Adults with real life issues! A believable plot!

I really liked all three of the main characters. I thought they were relatable and they felt like real people. Nothing about their *ahem* situation required me to suspend disbelief to any degree.

Despite each of them having their own issues that were loosely related but largely separate, up until the climax (), it wasn't even too dramatic or too cluttered.

The writing was good as well. I wasn't rolling my eyes at internal monologues or dialogue. Everything flowed.

The only thing holding me back from a full five stars is that this book isn't going to haunt my dreams for days. It was a fun read, but it's not getting real estate in my heart, if that makes sense.

Also, I was really craving more Sebastian/Bailey. I feel like we got a good bit of Bailey/Daniel's relationship and even Daniel/Sebastian's friendship, but I wanted to see more Sebastian and Bailey hamming it up.
