This book can give you valuable information on scientific events that are used multiple times in many dystopian works of novels that are quite popular. There is also cautionary advise for the wise after the scientific information.

Another thorough and completely informative book by Mr. Akart. After his illuminating work in 'Cyber Warfare', this was a vital and incomparable work to outline the world that we currently live in...and the very real threats that Americans face. Was it shocking? Yes. Was it inflammatory and baseless? Absolutely NOT.
The entire book not only presents the facts as they are, but outlines what different arguments and opinions are out there. There is a very real threat that must be identified and resolved by the authorities in charge of such things!
The most wonderful part of this book is the culmination of the author's experience and views towards preparing ourselves for any possible outcome. Full of critical and necessary information that every American should read and keep close for future references. I definitely recommend this book!

Technical and informative
Have you ever had someone ask, "Just what is an EMP?" I have heard that question enough times to know that I had better learn to give a reliable answer. Some people won't take a guess or some off the wall answer. They will come back at you with more questions. Some questions I can answer, but most I cannot. Until now, that is. Now I have this book from Bobby Akart to turn to and back me up in a discussion concerning EMPs. Mr. Akart has put in a lot of time and research putting together this important resource. My wish is that everyone would take advantage of Bobby Akart's hard work and become knowledgeable of the dangers we would be facing in the event of an EMP. Knowing and preparation is everything.

What is an EMP? Is the EMP threat real? Is the USA doing everything in its power to shield itself in case of an attack? Are YOU prepared? This is not a tin hat, conspiracy theory book. If you want to become better informed as to what the capabilities are of both the USA and abroad in terms of EMP warfare then this is the best book for you.
Akart engages the reader with an in-depth discussion in his latest book, EMP: Electromagnetic Pulse: Prepping for Tomorrow Series. He does an excellent job of explaining what an EMP is and providing the history behind it. The book goes on to tell you what you can do to prepare for an event. All of the information has been thoroughly researched and can be easily verified if needed.

Everything I need to know but wish I didn't. No one wants to think what happens when we are without modern conveniences. But, we need to know how, why and what to do to prepare .... just in case.

Love the book. Characters are great and hard not to root for some of them and hate the rest.
