An interesting and informative look into the lives of women whose work and philosophy have had an impact not just upon the lives of other women, of advancing the position and role of women, but also of making a change to the world.

To my embarrassment, I did not know many of the women featured and tended to pick out and dip into the articles on those of whom I was aware.

This would make an encouraging gift for a young woman (or man!).
