The UnOpened Gift

Rate this book
Charisa, a blue eyed, raven-haired beauty, deftly popped the lock on the door that led into the small banking office, it was her job. She’d learned locksmithing from her grandfather who’d taught her father, who didn’t want his little girl doing any such thing. Charisa was athletic, could kick anyone’s ass without breaking a nail, but she was so good with doors, no one could ever figure out how they made entry when they were on their “relief missions”. The group of six women moved swiftly and quietly down the stairs, they reached a fire door with a keypad entry. Charlie, Charisa’s twin, who they called ‘Cherry’ was the techie that could hack anything, crack anything, hi jack anything. She put the code in without hesitation; she’d cracked the algorithm of how they chose the weekly pass code long ago. They entered the facility and fanned out taking protective stances. Cherry had crashed the security system one minute before Gianna, arrived, as planned, giving them a five-minute window before the police would be alerted. Alexa toting her pump shotgun and her 9mm with silencer, standing at a petite five foot two and one hundred thirty pounds, ran to the front door and blended in with the scarce shadows as the look out, the lookout that would take care of anybody attempting to stop them or take them down. She’d already taken care of the security guard. Keira stood on top of the roof, guarding the entryway while watching the mission via her blackberry that Cherry took the liberty of linking to the banks camera system. She was the ins and outs, she knew which way to go when there was no way to go. The degree in architecture that she never got to use during the day was their salvation at night. Zoe was the clean-up girl and the weapons specialist; she made everything appear just as it was after the mission was done, and if she needed to lay a bomb or two she did it with glee, which is why they hadn’t been busted to date. Gianna was the brains behind the operation, scouting out the right prospect, mounting the team, giving the orders and delivering the results, she was the leader.

Pretty good

I liked this book. My only issue was that the character descriptions were at the end of the book as opposed to the beginning. Would've helped a few things make more sense as I read through.
