This is a nice box set of three medieval stories with dominant men and their feisty women who need to be taken in hand to keep order in their lives.
1. Held for Ransom
THE CROW AND THE PRINCESS
A wonderful medieval romantic tale of a mercenary knight, Sir Gorran and the realm Princess Ariana, a high Priestess in their relationship from kidnapped to held captive to slave to marriage. The plot kept me captivated with all the twists and turns, mystery and suspense and surprises. The dialog is entertaining with a great cast of characters. He dominates her, spanks her and eventually claims her
2. Betrothed
THE LADY AND THE DUKE
Lady Julia is fleeing the betrothal to the Duke of Pembridge after her father and brothers tried to forcibly take the Duke’s land and are killed in battle. The King decrees Julia will marry Bronson. She is one spunky lady, knows how to fight and protect herself, that is except for falling for the one man she fears the most. The plot is full of humor as the mysterious Duke is revealed and he learns of his betrothal to Lady Julia. She accepts his dominance and punishments because she realizes that he is a man of honor and his word.
3. Lady Meriwyn’s Punishment
LEARNING TO TRUST
Lady Meriwyn is lady’s maid to Princess Tova and Conrad serves the Prince and King. The story is the ups and downs of marriage, acceptance of dominance and punishments when warranted. When Meriwyn learns that Conrad punishes her, it is out of love and when it is over, all is forgiven. Lady Meriwyn fears correction, and for the most part, is obedient, but there is always something that must be dealt with. Conrad proves to her he is just and fair and no matter what, he still loves her.

These are three wonderful novellas. They all were well written and different. In the first one we meet Crow and Ariana. Even though Ariana was abducted, she comes to care for Crow. My favorite was Betrothed. Julia is offered to Bronson as a bride. She leaves the castle as a page to escape the marriage and she runs into him, even though she doesn't know who he is. She gets to know him and finds that she is falling in love. The last is Meriwyn's Punishment. Meriwyn is frightened of being punished by Conrad. He does his best to make it easier for her, but we all know she is going to be punished. Meriwyn finds a HEA with Conrad. I loved these stories and I give it 5 stars.

These books were totally marvelous.three terrific stories for the price of one. My favorite was The Ransom. The alpha hunk was strong and the Fisty woman was sassy, funny and strong. The discriptions were so good that I could I was there. The other stories were also awesome and I was up all nigh because I couldn't put it down until I finished. The storylines were surperb. And I highly recommend it.
