The first in a series of 14 workbooks on the spiritual life as seen and practiced by Baha'is. This one was divided into three parts dealing with how to read the Scriptures, how to pray, and what happens after death. There's not much to the book itself as its purpose is to encourage group discussions. The sections in each part are short and to the point. Mostly words spoken by either Baha'u'llah, Abdul'Baha or Shogi Efendi; but now and then there will be a short explanation. Then follows a number of questions which are based on what was read. What I liked least was that there are no real room for your own opinions or thoughts, the questions clearly want the one answering to answer according to what was read. Even so, I enjoyed reading and learning, and even answering, throughout the book. I must say my favorite part was on prayer.
