36 books38 followersWhen I was still in High School, one of my friends smuggled in a book she had found in her Mom's bedside drawer. It was Princess Daisy by Judith Krantz. As a group we giggled over the steamy sex scenes in that book, but I was more than amused, I was intrigued (amongst other things) and asked if I could borrow it.
Well you know what? I never actually gave it back and I realize now, that was the beginning of my love affair with erotica. It wasn't long before I began writing my own erotic stories, all of which are still hiding away in a dusty briefcase in my wardrobe. Apart from an embarrassing discovery by my mother in those earlier days, my experience has been a positive one and I continued writing for my boyfriends and eventually my husband, all of whom loved my work.
At my husbands encouragement I decided to publish one of his favorites "Taking Jenny" onto Kindle last year and 30,000 sales of my stories later, here I am. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope you continue to enjoy my stories...I have lots more to tell.

The story seemed rushed and it just didn't flow well, this one just wasn't for me.

It took me a while to work out what the author had done with this, she wrote the original three stories under a series title "Pleasures Of Sin". So now she has produce it as a novel and along with that she has done some rewriting of the first third of the book and threw in a short diary account at the end that kind of explains why the main character Bethany has a mother that is such a freak. It's a good little coming of age/ love story and impressive for a first time author. Contains very hot sex scenes and has some great twists. Recommended!

Pastor Blaine
The story flows well, I just wish there were more character development especially with Pastor Blaine. The only character developed in my opinion was Bethany. I also wish there would've been a little bit more angst but Bethany was a very weak character with no backbone. The story is also written in third character which I personally don't prefer. There is an HEA, if not a little cheesy and unbelievable.

Odd
This was a weird one for me. The H had some major issues and the h was way too naive and trusting. I kept reading and tried to figure out how it even made any sense....and why was I still reading. At least it was Kindle free.

Has potential
The basic ingredients are there with a heavy dose of heat, but it needs another round of heavy editing. There are too many holes in the storyline that make even the erotic encounters suffer.

The H cheats with the h's bestfriend who seduces him but he gets seduced pretty fast (he has a history). He has rough sex with the BFF but later realizes he'd prefer to stay with the h.

This book had potential to be great but it defiantly fell short. There were parts that just didn't even make sense. I did finish it though.
